"After all, we helped you find a way to get the potion ingredients. It's only fair, Morris."

Morris sighed inwardly, "Alright, you two."

He didn't understand why the twins were so keen on taking him on nighttime outings.

After all, his presence should not be of any benefit to the twins at all, and might even be a hindrance to them.

However, he had a vague idea.

Twins are the kind of people who do things according to their own interests, and their list of interests clearly includes themselves.

Simply put, it's purely for fun.

I really don't understand what it was about me that attracted them both.

  Let's go!

Fred waved his wand and cast a Disillusionment Charm on all three of his companions—he was slightly more skilled in spells than George.

In the moonlight, three blurry, almost invisible silhouettes moved toward the depths of the corridor.

  Twenty minutes later.

They had walked back and forth several times, but found nothing.

In such a fruitless repetition, even the most high spirits will gradually be worn away.

As the fourth round began, Morris stopped and said, "How about... we stop here for today?"

"No," Fred shook his head and said with certainty, "There's definitely something special about this corridor, otherwise Professor Dumbledore wouldn't have said that at the opening banquet. I dare say it wasn't a joke."

"Next, we'll check every room in this corridor!"

  Morris shrugged.

Never mind, I'll just keep playing with them.

He recently discovered that he only needs five hours of sleep a day.

It's okay to stay up late occasionally like this.

"You're in charge of the area on the left, Morris," Fred assigned the task.

Next, the group began a new round of searching.

In the middle of the corridor, Maurice stopped in front of a wooden door.

  The door was locked.

But this was no challenge for him.

  "Araho Cave Opens!"

With a single unlocking spell, the lock opened.

His unlocking spells became more and more proficient.

Morris pushed open the door with satisfaction.

In the darkness, three enormous eyes slowly opened, glowing with a scarlet light.

Immediately afterwards, a stench mixed with the stench of wild animals hit us.

Inside is a live three-headed dog.

  "..."

  Morris silently closed the door.

He calmly waved to the twins not far away, "Um... I think I've discovered something incredible. Do you want to come and take a look?"

  "What's wrong?"

Fred and George immediately stepped forward.

Morris pointed to the wooden door that had just been closed, and said calmly, "There's a dog inside. A big one, and it smells a bit."

A very simple and unadorned description.

"What's so special about a dog?"

Fred shrugged and pushed open the wooden door.

Then, the air froze for a second.

  "Run—!"

Fred had never reacted so quickly in his entire life.

He slammed the door shut and, before George and Morris could even react, grabbed one of their arms and ran outside.

George was pulled so hard he almost fell to the ground.

"Calm down, Fred!" Morris explained as he ran after him, "That guy's chained up!"

These words made Fred stop in his tracks.

He turned around, still shaken, and stared intently at the wooden door.

There was no sound coming from behind the door.

It seems they did not disturb the beast.

Morris shook his arm, which was red from being pinched, and said helplessly, "That dog has a chain around its neck. We can go back and take a look."

  It's just a dog.

Although it's a bit big, has three heads, and has bad breath... it shouldn't be that scary.

The three returned to the doorway, and Maurice pushed it open first.

  Fred and George followed cautiously.

Now, Morris was finally able to get a good look at the unusually large creature in front of him.

Under the dim light of the wall lamp, a three-headed dog the size of an elephant lay on the floor, its three heads drooping, its eyes half-closed, emitting a muffled snore.

The commotion just now seemed to have only caused it to change its sleeping position.

A gleaming iron chain around its neck is particularly eye-catching.

"Merlin…" George sighed softly, "They actually kept this kind of animal locked up here."

Fred gasped. "Now I know why Professor Dumbledore wouldn't let us in."

Morris calmly crossed his arms. "Looks like your curiosity has been satisfied. By the way, when are we leaving? It looks like it's about to wake up."

As soon as he finished speaking, the rightmost head of the three-headed dog suddenly twitched its nose and opened its eyelids a crack.

His crimson pupils focused in the dim light, instantly locking onto the three uninvited guests.

A threatening growl came simultaneously from deep within its three throats.

"Look, it's already trying to drive away customers," Morris said. "Let's go."

He really didn't want to stay in that stinking room.

Fred didn't know why Morris was so calm, but leaving now was definitely a wise decision.

  "Let's go outside first."

As he spoke, he turned around to open the wooden door.

However, at that moment, George spoke up, "Wait! Fred, someone's coming! Right in the hallway!"

Morris looked in George's direction and noticed that George had somehow produced a piece of parchment in his hand—it looked like a map.

"Who is it?" Fred asked quickly.

"Professor Dumbledore," George replied gravely, "is getting closer! The target is very likely this room."

Fred's face darkened, and he immediately waved his wand, casting the Disillusionment Charm on all three of his companions.

  This is troublesome.

He could only hope that Dumbledore had no intention of entering the room; if he did, the Disillusionment Curse would probably just be a self-deception.

For a wizard like Dumbledore, seeing through his Disillusionment Charm was a piece of cake.

  and...

He glanced in the direction of the three-headed dog, whose three pairs of eyes were staring straight at them.

Even if you use the Disillusionment Charm, it's the same!

  what to do?

Morris moved closer to George and looked at the map in his hand.

It was a structural diagram of a castle made of simple ink lines.

A dot of ink bearing the name "Albus Dumbledore" was steadily advancing down the corridor in front of them, almost reaching the doorway to their room.

At the same time, clear, steady footsteps came from outside the door.

The sound was neither hurried nor slow, and finally stopped outside the wooden door.
