The space stilled with palpable silence. Everyone stared at the screen with thoughts whirring, and then the screen changed.
That gave important information, spots were limited, only a select few could pick the options, following that, the man willed the screen to show the hidden information.

That's when it clicked in his head there was not enough space for everyone if the screen had said that 2.5 out of 5 billion remaining from the catastrophe remained.
'What would happen to the rest then?' He thought before snapping out of his thoughts. Spots were filling fast, faster than anticipated due to the discovery that there were only a select few spots.
The man sat there and looked at the screen weighing his options in thirty seconds, one was a route to security of the race that he knew, that he lived with everyday. The other was a gacha pull from some bad and some good, fate being controlled by luck and luck alone. And the last, it pulled at something nondescribable inside him, a want, a need to be in control of his own fate, to make something that no one else could claim as theirs. Thoughts spiraled and realigned thousands of times within the timeframe it took him to think about his choices.
His decision made he reached out, pointed his finger, and selected.
Time passed in silence until a DING rang through the empty space, then a screen appeared in front of everyone.
Then it all went black.

Hi all I don't know if this is turning out the way it's appearing in my head but I have like 13 arcs in my head, how many chapters that may cover I don't know but I do know that I want to make this the best possible.
