[ Stamina Points: Infinite. ]
[ Description: A slime that has reached forty five percent of its perfect evolution. These slimes were seen a long time ago by a tribe in the jungle, the tribe first noticed the light pink colour and deemed the slimes to be harmless in their ignorance as the slimes didn't attack the humans. Days continued to pass, and three months later, the entire human tribe settlement… grew silent. If one were to pass by and look inside the houses of the tribe, they wouldn't find any humans remaining, all they would find would be the slimes that had taken on a form resembling that of a human. They were all that was left. Whether the slimes ate the humans and took their forms or whether something else happened remains unknown. ]
'What… what the fuck?' Alan thought as his expression instinctively turned to one of disgust, the system was giving him riddles now, riddles for descriptions on his observation skill.
'Can't this thing just be factual for once… but either way, it does confirm one thing, these guys… they're closer than the amethyst slimes to their perfect evolution.' Alan thought as he readied his combat spear and entered a stance.
Thankfully because of his evolution, his perception now when using the goggles was good enough even if he wasn't using the prescription glasses. Thus even from his current position, he quickly located the small black glass core at the center of the slime.
It was situated on its chest, more precisely on its left torso.
'It's… the same location as to where a human heart would be.' Alan thought as he slowly started approaching the slime as cautiously as he could, he had yet to know of how exactly the thing attacked, and he knew for a fact that the thing would be stronger than any of the slimes that he had encountered until now.
Once he got close enough that less than ten feet separated him from the two legged standing monster, it's head turned towards Alan, it didn't have any facial features, it only had two small holes that seemed to function as eyes.
For a moment, Alan froze, his body standing still and in the next instant he jumped to the left as fast as he could.
The slime monster had already attacked him, it had somehow caused him to freeze for a few seconds when he had looked into its eyes and then proceeded to separate a portion of its gelatine like body substance and make it travel on the ground like a slippery thin layer before proceeding to create spikes that launched upwards out of it.
Hitting his back against the wall from his jump. Alan's eyes behind the goggles had widened, he hadn't expected that from the slime, he hadn't expected it at all.
'It's… It's actually using tactics, usually these things just attack with straightforward attacks or with one unique attack, but this thing just used that eye freeze ability paired with an actual tactic by trying to hide the attack on the ground.' Alan thought as he quickly rolled to the side, escaping another attack that had launched towards him from the hand of the slime.
It had lifted its hand up and created spikes before launching them through the air towards Alan's current position.
'Fuck… it's fast.' Alan thought as he had to jump once more to escape the spikes that were launched towards him from it's other hand, however it was at that moment that he noticed something else.
'A… a trap.' Alan thought to himself as he was still in the air, his gaze fixed on the ground under his body, the slime had made him jump by launching the thorns whilst at the same time predicting where he would jump and had already sent a layer of its gelatine substance towards that area on the ground and made spikes that he would get impaled on.
'I can't… dodge.' Alan thought for a moment before an idea flashed through his mind as he thought about a single word in his mind, and the system instantly activated it for him.
'Wind Gust.'
A gust of powerful wind was released from the soles of his shoes in a fraction of a second, propelling his body through the air and past the spikes as he turned his body and rolled down onto the ground to save his body as much as he could from the impact.
'I still… definitely broke something.' Alan thought as he quickly jumped to his feet and turned towards the pink slime, he could already see it starting to prepare another attack towards him, deciding that he had no time to spare left. Alan lifted his hand and summoned another combat spear in his hand, the previous spear had been left behind whilst he had been dodging, it was one of the reasons as to why he had bought multiple of each of the weapons in the first place.
'Wind Gust.' He thought as he threw the spear as hard as he could towards the humanoid slime.
It didn't take longer than a single instant as the wind magic was released from his outstretched palm and hit the base of the spear that was already going through the air and further boosted its speed to the point where the only sound being heard in the dark small alley was the sound of the air being shredded apart from the tip of the spear.
