Jacob did not even protest as she dragged him along, her smaller hands tightly gripping his. He also did not dare ask, as he knew already where she was taking him. They whizzed past the hostel building, moving towards the rear end of the school.
When they got to the final stop, there was a large stony fence, fleshed out at the edges, it was not too high, but it didn't drop too low either. It was just high enough that it towered like two or three feet aboveJacob's head.
Violet grinned at him and turned her bright eyes towards the top of the fence, her eyes and palms glowed simultaneously in a bright golden color, and then thin strings of gold thread instantly materialized from the palms of her hands. She was about five foot eight, which was significantly shorter than Jacob. She tossed her strings towards the top of the fence and used them to pull herself towards the other end in less than a few seconds.
