Jayden finally stepped through the door.
What he saw went beyond horror.
A long corridor stretched before him, lit by a dull reddish glow. But it wasn't normal light. The walls, the floor, even the ceiling looked as if they were made of blood. Pieces of flesh, ribs embedded in stone, dripped into a thick, viscous red tide. Every step Jayden took sank into it with a disgusting squelch.
He froze.
His breath shortened. His heartbeat accelerated violently.
Then he saw them.
Human-shaped figures advanced slowly toward him. Their bodies were distorted, their eyes empty—devoid of any soul. Zombies… or something worse. Their movements were jerky, but their intent was undeniable.
Suddenly, something shoved him from behind.
The door slammed shut with a metallic crash.
One of the creatures grabbed his shirt.
Panic took over.
The more fear he felt, the more oppressive the space became. The walls seemed to close in. Screams echoed like warped memories. His body trembled—and then he broke down, tears spilling.
"Don't let fear take over… or you'll lose your clarity," a sharp voice echoed inside his mind.
Jayden ran.
He stumbled and fell into the sea of blood. The creatures collapsed on him, engulfing him completely.
Then, abruptly, he opened his eyes.
He was in a dark, silent place.
The ground was black and viscous. The air carried a suffocating, unnatural weight.
In front of him stood someone.
Himself.
His double.
Its eyes were entirely black. A freezing aura radiated from it. Slowly, it raised its head and drew a saber.
Jayden stepped back, paralyzed.
"I want… my sword. Now."
The black ground began to shift. From the shadows, a blade formed—completely black, ominous, unnatural.
"What am I supposed to do with that…?" Jayden muttered.
Before he could finish, the double lunged.
Blades collided in a violent clash—familiar, yet terrifying.
He's fast… that speed… I know it.
The face of the double warped.
It became Kurai Ko—eyes hollow and black. He circled Jayden with deadly precision.
"That movement…!" Jayden reacted instantly.
He pivoted and counterattacked.
The face changed again.
Kyle.
Black dragons erupted from the ground. A dark energy line sliced across Jayden's neck, followed by a dragon tracing the attack's path.
Kyle dashed forward.
Jayden gritted his teeth, blocked—
then kicked violently into Kyle's shoulder.
The Purple Styler was thrown back and dissolved into darkness.
He was fast… Jayden gasped.
The ground collapsed.
He fell at terrifying speed, his heart hammering.
He woke again in the blood-soaked corridor.
Zombies clung to his legs, but this time Jayden stood up.
Slowly, he walked forward, dragging them behind him. His blue sword glowed faintly in the darkness.
"I want to get out of here… and I'm not afraid," he said firmly.
Once again, the voice echoed—but this time, it was different. Respectful.
"As you command… master."
"Why are you calling me that?!" Jayden shouted.
"All of this world… is you. Your darkest part. The gas trapped you here. Your soul is brushing against hell… but it's time to wake up."
At the end of the corridor, two figures appeared—one white, one violet.
"I don't think this will end like this," said the white figure.
"Exactly, Jayden. Your fate is here," added the other.
Kyle and Kurai.
Their faces remained hidden in shadow.
Jayden tightened his grip on his sword.
Kyle attacked.
Jayden slid into a low dodge and passed through.
Kurai struck next—but Jayden countered, knocked him down, and kept moving.
Finally, a white door appeared ahead.
Kyle and Kurai closed in rapidly.
Jayden leapt forward.
He jumped—
SLAM.
Black screen.
