Su-hee walked into the guest's shower room. She gasped as she observed every inch of the materials and floor.
"What the hell? How rich is this guy? Why is he attending a university for the middle-class like us?" she wondered. Then she shook her head, undressed to shower.
Meanwhile, Jun-tae placed a cup on the island with water and then another for himself. Once she finished showering, he glanced over.
"Drink some… water…" he paused, staring at her.
Su-hee walked out of the shower wearing the shirt he had provided for her. His mouth dropped as the water in his mouth fell like a waterfall. She looked at him, blushing.
"Your short was too big… and I don't have anything underneath… so I decided not to wear them."
Jun-tae gulped, closing his mouth and rubbing his chin dry. He looked away, flushing. Calm down… this is the first time you have a girl over. Don't act like a beast… He blinked his eyes rapidly.
"I see… hmm, maybe the washer and dryer can help," he muttered.
She nodded, running back into the shower room and grabbing her clothes. She came out, making sure the undergarments were under her shirt.
"Where is it?"
Jun-tae closed his eyes while his face was red. He pointed to his right.
"There…"
She ran to the laundry room and threw her clothes into the washer. She looked at the button, amazed.
"Wow… so high-tech…" she gasped.
BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.
Jun-tae furrowed his brows.
"What is she doing?" he wondered—
"Ah! Help, Jang Jun-tae!" Su-hee screamed.
Jun-tae sprinted to the laundry room and paused. Her bare skin was showing, and he quickly closed his eyes.
"Cover yourself!"
"I… Help!"
Jun-tae peeked at the side, grabbing a towel. He threw it at her, covering her. She grabbed the towel and wrapped it around her waist. Jun-tae opened his eyes and turned off his washer.
"Hah…" he groaned. He looked at her, who quickly looked away when she saw his gaze. "What did you press?"
"I… I don't know how to use this machine… it's too high-tech," she argued.
He chuckled, brushing his hair back in frustration.
"Then… ask for help," he responded.
She tightened her lips, her face scowling.
"Help from who? A troll?" she muttered, then she walked out of the washer.
He let out a laugh as he watched her walk away.
"How am I going to deal with such a foul attitude?" he mumbled. Then he turned around and turned the washer on for her. He returned to the island and handed her the cup he had for her. "Are you ready to talk?"
"Yeah…" she replied nonchalantly. He chuckled, flicking her head. "Yah!"
"If I'm correct… I'm a little bit older than you, so speak to me formally," he commanded.
"Aish…" she snarled. "I was born in January! How are you older than me?"
"I was born in December…" he smiled, tilting his head.
"Then you're younger than me—"
"Near Christmas…"
She squealed. If that's correct, then he started school at the same time I did…
"Fine!" she barked. He flicked her head again. "YAH!"
"Respect…" he said, pointing at her.
"Okay, troll who is only a few weeks older than me," she retaliated.
He chuckled and slammed both hands down.
"Hey—"
"What?! Hey, what?!"
"Do you know a man named Oh Hee-wan?" Jun-tae started.
She froze, furrowing her brows.
"Oh Hee-wan? Oh, he won?" Su-hee echoed.
Jun-tae's face slammed into the island as he burst into laughter.
"Yah, his name is Oh Hee-wan… and he seems to know so much about you, so I was wondering if you know him," he pried.
"I don't know the 'oh he won' guy… I don't know anyone like that. Why?"
"Really?" Jun-tae reassured. Then he stared into her eyes, no lies in them. "I see… well, let's have a contract. A dating contract."
"Why?"
"Well, I thought you would be a good type of person to do this dating contract with."
"But I don't think you are…" Su-hee rejected.
Jun-tae smirked and leaned on the island like a flirt.
"Why not? If not me, then who? That Ahn Jae-hae guy?"
"Ew, no… he's an ogre," she stated.
He laughed.
"I still can't believe you call him an ogre. So many ladies think he's handsome…"
"I mean, between you and him…"
"Yes?" Jun-tae interrupted, blinking his eyelashes like a beauty.
Su-hee blushed, recalling how kind he covered her when she was crying.
"You're just a little bit… handsome, I guess," she hesitated.
"A little bit?" he chuckled. "Why not a lot? I'm a Computer Science major."
"And I'm an Econ. So what?" she argued.
He smiled and reached out for her hand.
"Now I know where to find you then…" he replied.
She bit her lower lip, blushing. His hand is warm… why do I care? She rested her head.
"Why a dating contract?"
"Because… it has to be you."
"Why? I don't like dating—"
"We won't be really doing dates unless it's necessary," Jun-tae added.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, if I need some hugs, then you have to share some," he slyly teased.
"Argh… what a troll," she muttered, rolling her eyes.
He cackled, shaking his head.
"You're such a meme-looking person," he commented. After he finished laughing, he took a deep breath. "But I'm serious. I have a crazy family… as you can see, I'm not an average person."
"I'm not an easy person to deal with…" she argued.
He beamed, pulling her hand closer. She gasped.
"Trust me, I can handle you…"
She glared at him, growling like a chihuahua.
"How can I trust someone who barely even explains anything about himself?"
His smile stretched. His hand moved toward her chin, grabbing her.
"Because, unlike other men… I'm at least being honest on this part. I'm just using you, and I'm allowing you… to use me."
She frowned.
"I don't need to use you, troll…" she replied. Then she slapped his hand away. "Because of you, I lost free alcohol for life!"
