"Do you really think a single ship like yours can break through a blockade like this?"
The mysterious young man suddenly pointed toward the shoreline. In the darkness, ships flying the flag of Baroque Works were advancing with searchlights sweeping across the sea—at least a dozen beams cutting through the night.
"Eren Yeager… you really have a way?" Igaram called out his name. As a high-ranking official of a kingdom, he had sharp judgment—there was no way to break through such an encirclement. Even sacrificing himself wouldn't open a path.
Zoro watched the approaching ships, their lights growing closer. With his current strength, he could only fight in close combat. Cutting a ship in half with a single slash was still beyond him.
Sanji was the same—skilled in close-range combat, usually taking on enemy officers one-on-one, but lacking any long-range attack methods.
Usopp, the only sniper on the crew, had limited firepower. Nami hadn't yet developed her Clima-Tact. As for Captain Luffy, while he could threaten enemy ships, if he accidentally fell into the sea, someone would have to rescue this Devil Fruit user.
"I'm not helping for free. After this, I want to ride your ship to a certain place."
The condition wasn't unreasonable. Nami didn't even let Luffy decide—she immediately agreed. As long as it didn't cost money, giving someone a ride was acceptable.
Luffy narrowed his eyes and sized Eren up. From that cold gaze, he could sense a disregard for life. His instinct told him—this guy wasn't a good person.
"We can handle this ourselves, right Zoro, Sanji?"
"I follow the captain. Whatever you say, we do."
"I'm just the cook. I don't have an opinion."
"YOU THREE, SHUT UP!!!"
Nami's fists came down one after another, leaving large bumps on the foreheads of the three idiots. She was determined to knock some sense into them.
After calming down, she turned to Eren with a bright smile. "They have no objections now. Mr. Eren, please go ahead."
This time, Baroque Works had dispatched quite a number of elite agents. Capturing traitors shouldn't have required such force, but the "future" revealed by the Heavenly Screen had drawn Crocodile's attention to the Straw Hat crew.
From his perspective, there was a real chance they would meet Princess Vivi. So he decided to eliminate everything—bury the princess and the pirate crew together at Whiskey Peak. Becoming Pirate King wasn't child's play.
"Ships spotted at the harbor!"
"That pirate flag—it's the Straw Hat crew!"
"Load the cannons! Sink that ship!"
Commands rang out as cannons were aimed at the Going Merry.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Dozens of cannonballs roared through the air. Just as they were about to hit, a boy wearing a straw hat leapt into the sky. He inhaled deeply, his rubber body expanding rapidly into a massive balloon.
The cannonballs slammed into his inflated body—yet he ignored the impact and bounced them all back toward the enemy ships.
The returning fire damaged several ships, though not enough to sink them. Realizing this, the enemy prepared to attack from multiple directions.
"Straw Hat, send me up there. Throw me above them," Eren said, standing beside Luffy. If he transformed here, he'd destroy their ship too.
During the bombardment, Igaram's ship had already been sunk. Everyone seeking escape had boarded the Going Merry.
"I'll help you now—Gum-Gum Rocket!"
Luffy stretched his arms back, then launched Eren skyward with tremendous force.
"Ah—oops, I used too much strength!"
No one had time to scold him. All eyes were fixed on Eren, now soaring above the enemy fleet.
"I've really missed this power…"
Adjusting his posture midair, he stood upright. This time, he didn't need to harm himself to transform.
A flash of golden lightning split the sky. Flesh, bone, and sinew rapidly formed around him as a gigantic figure emerged above the ships.
Boom!!!
A massive body crashed down, instantly destroying two ships beneath it. Waves surged violently as a nearly 20-meter-tall titan appeared.
"A giant?! Why is there a giant here?!"
"A human turning into a giant? Impossible!"
"Fire! Stop that monster!"
Panic spread across the fleet. But how could prey escape a predator like this?
Since they were still in shallow waters, the Attack Titan could stand firmly, seawater only reaching its chest. It moved across the seabed, its massive arms becoming devastating weapons.
Cannon fire exploded against its body, leaving black scorch marks and drawing blood—but it had no real effect.
Eren smashed ships one after another, even grabbing one vessel and slamming it into another. The fleet became nothing more than toys in his hands, reduced to floating debris.
"Don't come any closer!"
"Retreat! Retreat!"
Screams of despair filled the air. Before anyone could escape, their ships were crushed into pieces.
When the last Baroque Works ship sank beneath the sea, the nightmare finally ended.
In just a few minutes, only the Going Merry remained afloat.
"Eren is amazing! He can turn into a giant!"
Luffy jumped excitedly on deck. Coming from the East Blue, this was his first time seeing a real giant—and now he wanted that power too.
The Attack Titan approached the Going Merry. With the moonlight illuminating him, everyone finally saw his true form.
Black hair, green eyes, pointed elf-like ears, exposed teeth, and a body packed with muscle—though vastly different, traces of Eren's human form could still be recognized.
"So strong…"
Vivi and Igaram both sighed in awe
. Perhaps this giant… could really defeat Crocodile.
