The night passed in silence. Not a single servant entered the Queen's chamber, and not a single whisper escaped its walls.
The child existed.
But only for two people.
Hayato Shizukami Shin-Zenshu, Supreme Leader of the Western Land, and Ema Shizukami Shin-Hi, the True Queen.
No one else knew.
Even the palace itself remained unaware.
Morning came.
Light spilled across the capital, and with it came noise voices, movement, life returning all at once.
The palace gates opened wide with a heavy clang. Lines of Shin-Jin shifted into perfect formation as foreign banners entered one after another. Envoys, nobles, and Supreme Leaders began to arrive from across the Central Land.
Because today was not an ordinary day.
"Day of Salvation…"
The words spread through the crowd like wildfire.
"Yesterday… the Barrier cracked…"
"Shin-Noa awakened…"
"The world is changing…"
Excitement, fear, and hope mixed together as the city came alive with anticipation.
Inside the grand hall, the air grew heavy with presence. Hundreds no, thousands of eyes watched, waited, and judged.
At the highest platform stood the rulers.
Hayato Shizukami stood at the center, still and unmoving, like a blade resting in its sheath.
Beside him stood Ema Shizukami, calm on the outside. But hidden within her sleeves, her fingers were clenched.
She could still hear it the silence of last night, the stillness of her child, and the fear that someone might find out.
To the right side of the stage stood Kazumi Kaimetsuza, Supreme Leader of the Eastern Land and Ema's brother.
His presence alone felt violent, sharp, contained, like something that could explode at any moment.
Beside him stood Tsugumi Kaimetsuza, one hand resting gently against her abdomen. Pregnant. Quiet. Observing everything carefully.
Two bloodlines.
Shizukami.
Kaimetsuza.
Once enemies.
Now standing together.
For peace.
For balance.
For survival.
The hall slowly settled.
Then
Bong…!
The ceremonial bell rang, and silence fell instantly.
A General Kazuki stepped forward.
"Today… we gather for a new beginning."
His voice echoed across the hall.
"Yesterday… the world was reborn."
A ripple passed through the crowd.
"The Saviour fulfilled his purpose."
Heads lowered.
"The poison of the world has begun to cleanse."
Eyes lifted.
"Shin-Noa has awakened within the Kū-Sha."
A deep breath moved through the hall.
"Nearly ninety percent of the people have regained Shin energy even if only at D-rank. We can now sense it within each other."
He paused.
"And today… we mark this day as"
He raised his hand.
"The Day of Salvation."
For a moment, there was silence.
Then the hall erupted.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
Relief. Joy. Hope.
But Hayato Shizukami did not clap.
His eyes remained still, cold, watching.
Then the General raised his voice again.
"And… another blessing has arrived upon this land."
The noise slowly faded. Every gaze turned toward the stage toward Hayato.
A pause. Perfectly timed.
"This morning…"
The General's voice deepened.
"The Western Land has received its heir."
A shockwave ran through the hall.
"What…?"
"A child?"
"Today?"
"Impossible…"
Whispers spread instantly.
Hayato stepped forward.
One step.
Tok.
Silence slammed down again.
"My son," he said.
No hesitation. No softness.
Only certainty.
"Was born this morning."
The lie spread through the hall like truth clean, perfect, untouchable.
Ema's breath caught for just a moment, but her face remained unchanged.
"His name…" the General continued, "…is Takashi Shizukami."
The name echoed again and again, carving itself into history.
Some faces lit up.
Some stiffened.
Some darkened.
Whispers began again quieter this time, more dangerous.
"I heard something strange…"
"His appearance…"
"Different…"
"His eyes…"
"His hair…"
"Did you feel anything from him?"
"No…"
"…nothing."
A pause.
"…that's not normal."
Another voice, colder:
"Two Alpha Clans…"
"Shizukami and Kaimetsuza…"
"Their child should overflow with Shin-Noa…"
"His parents are already S-Rank…"
"But this one…"
"…feels empty."
Silence followed.
"That's never happened."
"Only those who abandon Shin-Noa over generations become Kū-Sha…"
"And even worse…"
"He didn't receive the Saviour's blessing."
The word slipped out
"Unlucky."
Another followed.
"Or cursed…"
A third
"…a demon."
The voices were low, but they spread enough.
Ema heard it.
Her fingers tightened slightly.
Kazumi heard it too.
His eyes darkened instantly as a flicker of rage passed through him sharp, violent, real.
The air around him shifted for just a moment.
Tsugumi's hand rested gently on his arm.
"Not here…"
Her voice was soft but firm.
Kazumi exhaled slowly and forced himself to regain control.
Because he knew
One wrong move, and everything would collapse.
Hayato stood completely still.
But the atmosphere around him had changed.
Heavy.
Pressuring.
Dangerous.
The whispers slowed not because they stopped, but because people became afraid to continue.
His gaze moved across the hall slowly, one by one, as if marking every single person.
"My son…"
His voice was quiet.
But it cut deeper than any shout.
"…is the heir of the Shizukami."
Silence.
Complete.
"If any of you have something to say…"
A pause stretched long enough to tighten every heartbeat.
"…say it louder."
No one spoke.
No one dared.
Kazumi's lips curved slightly not a smile, but something sharper.
Approval.
The hall settled once again, but the whispers did not disappear.
They sank deeper.
Into shadows.
Into thoughts.
Into fear.
On the surface, it was a day of celebration.
The Day of Salvation.
The birth of Takashi Shizukami.
The beginning of a new era.
But beneath it
Doubt had already been born.
And doubt was far more dangerous than any enemy.
Somewhere deep inside the palace, hidden behind silence, the child slept.
Unaware.
Time had already begun to run.
Fast.
Relentless.
Only five years remained.
Until his death…
Or his rebirth
