Chapter 1 - Asiya

Exactly midnight.

On the 13th floor of Ryan City, inside an apartment—

THUD!!!

The sound felt like it came from within the walls.

Asiya turned over in irritation and muttered,

"Here we go again! Won't you let me sleep?"

The room was dark. An unnatural silence hung in the air.

Just then, from the corner of the room, a faint crying sound echoed—

"U… u… u…"

Asiya opened her eyes and looked.

In the darkness, a small child's shadow stood there.

"Hey! Why are you disturbing me in the middle of the night?" she said, annoyed.

The child whimpered,

"No…"

"Then why are you crying? Tell me what happened."

The child said nothing. Just stared.

Its eyes were strange—completely still… unnatural.

Annoyed, Asiya sat up.

She opened the drawer, took out a chocolate, and said,

"Here, take it. Eat it and leave. Let me sleep."

The child slowly wiped its eyes.

But strangely—

It wasn't tears falling…

It was blood.

Drop… drop…

Red stains began to spread across the floor.

Asiya yawned and said,

"Oh please! You watch too many cartoons."

Suddenly, the child became happy.

It took the chocolate—

and vanished in a second.

The room fell silent again.

After a while, Asiya sat up again, irritated.

"Ugh! The AC is acting up again!"

She waved her hand casually and said,

"Hey! Just give me some cool air properly, will you?"

And the moment she said that—

Right beside her—

A woman with long hair suddenly appeared.

Her hair touched the floor.

Her face couldn't be seen—completely hidden behind her hair.

Slowly… she opened her mouth—

And began to blow cold air.

Within seconds, the entire room turned freezing cold.

Asiya pulled the blanket over herself and lay down comfortably.

Closing her eyes, she said softly,

"There… that's better…"

Within moments, she began to snore peacefully.

The long-haired woman slowly stopped.

She stood still… staring.

Then, in a faint whisper, she said—

"…Is this girl even human?"

At that moment, from outside the door, the child's voice echoed again—

No longer crying… only cold warning—

"No… she's more terrifying than us…"

Asiya had always been different since childhood.

Her eyes could see things…

that no one else could.

At first, little Asiya would cry a lot.

Every night, she would tremble in fear.

But no one understood what she was actually seeing.

Gradually, when she started saying—

"I can see them…"

That was when she began losing friends.

Everyone avoided her.

Back then, her only companions were her brothers.

But her family never left her alone.

They always stood by her side and gave her strength.

Even today, she remembers—

When she cried as a child, her father would hold her and say,

"Princess, there's nothing to fear from them.

You are strong… and they are weak.

If they try to scare you—

you scare them back."

From that day onward, everything changed.

Asiya never cried out of fear again.

Asiya is very cute.

When she smiles, dimples appear on both cheeks—

making her even more charming.

But behind that sweet face lies a strange power.

She can see the future.

Asiya makes predictions—but never for money.

Because she has no lack of it.

She is the only daughter of Lei Feng—

the powerful CEO of AK Company.

A mansion-like house, luxury cars, a lavish lifestyle—

everything is within her reach.

Her elder brother is a company director,

and her second brother is a popular actor.

She is the beloved princess of the family.

At first, many didn't believe in her abilities.

But when her predictions started coming true—one by one—

People were left shocked… some even broke down emotionally.

She is extremely talented…

But even more than that—

she is lazy.

Sometimes, she's too lazy to even drive away ghosts.

"Go… I'll let you off today…" —that's her usual mood.

But when needed—

She becomes completely different.

At times gentle and soft…

and at other times—

Cold. Terrifying.

Ring… Ring…

The sound of her phone woke Asiya up.

"Hello…" she said, half-asleep.

Her mother's voice came from the other side—

"Baby, are you still sleeping? It's 9 AM! Get up.

And come home today… or your papa will be very angry."

Asiya smiled faintly and said,

"Wow… he sounds extra angry today."

"Yes! After what you've done—you're not escaping today!"

"Oh really? And what did I do this time?"

"Come home first. Then I'll tell you."

Asiya paused for a moment, then said—

"Alright… I'm coming."

She hung up the phone and sat silently for a while.

Then, slowly, a smile spread across her face.

"Looks like… something interesting is about to happen today…"
