Carson had a satisfying meal with Roparm who only drank beer and asked "how are werewolves any different from beastfolks mr. Roparm? "
Roparm replied "well we and you guys have many similarity but here is the thing werewolfs are kinda cursed beings unlike beastfolks who evolvee from animals to human shaped animals and I meant it by their Constitution but werewolfs there are two ways to be one first get bitten or second be the child of a werewolf. " He took a long pause then continued
Roparm's voice was drifting with emotions now and he continues " Now the transformation there are 2 types of werewolf transformation one is humonoid form another in just a big wolf these two have different characteristics humonoid is a strength type transformation and wolf one is a speed type although humonoid is a superior transformation it's speed is balanced and with training it's as good as the wolf transformation but here comes the thing a werewolf can't choose which transformation he gets its random another factor unlike you guys who are born with it newly made werewolf or child werewolf when hit age 16 feel different they have to control their senses also we have no control under moonlight. "
After receiving so much information Carson's head was spinning but he tried to keep things in head and asked one final question "then how does a wolf becomes a humonoid wolf ? "
Roparm replied without a second thought in a heartbeat "drinking vampire blood."
Silence went at Carson's table he didn't ask anything anymore. After the meal Roparm bought him bought him a 3 new pair of dress and added one thing to their final conversation " Unlike us you guys have sharp senses from birth and transformation are naturally humonoid also you guys also feel hard to control instinct and transformation for you guys is just as hard as it is for us. "
Carson didn't replied just quitely in a low voice said "thanks"
Then they tried the new dress he was wearing a black T-shirt and black pants also boots Roparm bought him 3 pair of matching cloths black red and green then Roparm said "we will wait in a inn today it's already evening we will leave tomorrow. "
Carson said "Okay sir but in which inn are we staying I don't know if you know it or not since I have came here I have been smelling a weird smell like something rotten here. "
Roparm said "I don't smell anything you must be imagining the smell from having a near death experience with the siren but how did you survive it you must have gotten pulled under water ? "
Carson was feeling irritated not because of his new teacher who will teach him and others at academy but because the whole day from coming here to shopping and till the food at tarven he has been getting disgutsful looks and the anger could be clearly seen on his face.
Roparm said noticing the the subtle changes in Carson's facial expression "Kiddo don't give attention to these people they themselves don't know why they hate you guys they are just a part of herd and doing whatever they are told. "
Carson replied in a less irritated tone "Sir i know but the herd here is too big it's destroying the lives of our people and we are captured and sold for better or worse is this really fair shouldn't a time come where they should feel the torment they are putting us through! " Roparm saw it as Carson was talking midways his voice got growly and scary although it was nothing for Roparm he understood it's Carson's instinct's speaking.
Roparm saw the red eyes and the face increasing its resemblance to a tiger then he said "yes I agree with you but violence is always not the solution and these guys are doing what they are told I am not saying they are doing good but believe me kid fate works in mysterious ways heaven and hell nothing is true it's all that happens here your sins your good work you will be repaid here and here only. "
Hearing these comforting words Carson's transformation stopped they were now heading towards the inn they went in and this place really looked odd not only that the smell Carson mentioned before a rotten smell was coming from here.
Carson held his new sword tightly as he looked at Roparm he nodded it clearly meant one thing something here is not good but still they took 1 room and just tried to sleep this was the only inn in this village what could one do?
Carson said "I have been calling you Mr. Roparm for quite some time sir may I know your full name? "
Roparm said "I don't have a full name I am a fallen nobel more like an abandoned one because I became a werewolf" His voice had a tinge of sadness.
Carson didn't wanna talk to him anymore he knew people with backstories so deep often become like Old Man Who will keep rambling and increase the chapter (breaking of fourth wall) so he just tried to sleep but the rotten smell was too strong.
He looked Mr. Roparm was sleeping peacefully and woke him up and asked "how can you sleep so peacefully sir this stench is so strong" To which Roparm replied "well unlike you guys I mastered my senses and I blocked mine for the time being from tomorrow If you want I will teach you too. "
Carson said "Thank you sir I would love it but what does this smell mean's sir? "
Roparm replied with a cold tone "Vampires" "There are vampires here at this inn. "
Carson asked "Isn't our lives in danger then sir maybe ,maybe not?
Roparm replied "We shouldn't judge a book by its cover maybe they are just staying on one room Or the innkeeper was the vampire we don't know they haven't harmed any nearby people so I guess it's ok and hey kid attacking Vampires because you are scared that's kind of a inter racialracist "
Carson said " Sorry sir" Then he went down to take a stroll still conflicted whether he should treat nicely still thinking "Do these people even deserve my kindness? "
Then suddenly he heard glass break he quickly looked around then looked at the second floor where he was staying he saw the window was broken.
He quickly rushed towards the inn but midways the inn keeper now had reddish pink eyes pointy ears and was growling at him.
Even amongst all this he had one thing in mind "Is Mr. Roparm okay did we really do good by not judging these people by their covers? "
The vampire growled like an animal at him Carson could feel he was weaker than him and now also scared not knowing what ro do!
