On the other side, Rigel had already plunged into the sea with the crown, the sea's healing power rapidly curing him. Calypso stayed by his side, even helping by placing her hands on his shoulders, speeding up his healing.
In truth, it was unnecessary, but Calypso didn't care about that at the time.
She just wanted to heal Rigel.
Rigel finally felt better, he felt as if his soul was about to explode. He hadn't even noticed that his wand was already full of tiny cracks, it was only when he healed that he realized it.
Looking at the wand, he frowned. After months with it, the wand had become increasingly attached to him, so much so that Rigel felt that this time, while he was trying his hardest, the wand had completely yielded, perfectly subduing itself to him.
However, the power he unleashed was still tremendous.
The wand was damaged.
He only hoped that Ollivander could fix it.
Calypso, seeing Rigel look at the wand with furrowed brows and evident sadness in the depths of his eyes, seemed thoughtful for a moment before approaching, placing her hands around Rigel's hands that held the wand.
Rigel blinked, a little confused, but trusted her enough not to move, seeing what she was doing.
From Calypso's hands, red moss seemed to form out of nowhere, as the moss moved towards the cracks in his wand.
The moss seemed to seep into the wand as Calypso pulled a strand of her own hair, the strand drifted to the tip of the wand, seemingly weaving itself inside.
The wand glowed a reddish hue for a moment, heating up considerably, before rapidly cooling down until it returned to calm.
Rigel looked at the wand, surprised, he saw thin reddish lines, contrasting with the color of the wood, where the cracks had been before.
He channeled his magic into the wand, without actually casting a spell, but just as he had done when he first picked up the wand, a fire phoenix formed again, this time from the water!
The phoenix burned, but was unaffected by the water, instead, it let out a sharp cry for a moment before disappearing completely.
Rigel felt the wand's consciousness grow stronger, if before it was more like a plant, now it truly seemed to possess a bit of Ego. Rigel felt the wand vibrate slightly in his hand, demonstrating that it was alright, before returning to its calm state.
Rigel stared at the wand for a few more moments, the red lines still intriguing him, but he didn't feel that the wand was weaker, but stronger.
His eyes turned to Calypso, she playfully stepped towards him.
Rigel didn't know what to say for a moment, thankfully, the months had made him feel less embarrassed around her. Sighing, he spoke. "Thank you, I owe you one."
Calypso's eyes sparkled as a smile grew on her face, which made Rigel apprehensive, looking at her suspiciously.
"Nothing perverted." He added.
Calypso shook her head, rolling her eyes slightly at him, before speaking. "Do you think I'm a succubus?"
Rigel stared at her expressionlessly, not a succubus, a nymph. his gaze causing Calypso to give a slight, embarrassed laugh before speaking. "I don't have anything that I want right now, leave it for later."
Rigel looked at her for another moment, before finally letting go of the thought, he put away his wand and turned back to the Adventure Book.
"Hey, does the wand need a magic passport now?" Rigel asked.
The book opened, writing. [Yes.]
Rigel's lips trembled, he sighed, but nodded, it made sense. The wand had practically been enchanted again, not by items he brought from the Wizarding World, but by Calypso's power. This reminded Rigel to be careful about this in the future, the book continued to write.
[Due to the previous situation, I waited until now to show you, but... you've achieved something new.]
[Congratulations writer, for killing the legendary pirate - Davy Jones, and receiving the reward: Magic Passport - x3]
[You already have 12, keep up the good work, writer.]
Rigel looked at the reward with calm eyes, it was a little disappointing, but not unexpected.
Currently, to take with him, he has: The compass, his wand, Jack the monkey, the Kraken,
Furthermore, he will take one or more ships with the treasure he acquired in this world, each one shrunk by the power of the crown and worth 1 magic item.
Rigel even stole a ship from the Spanish for this purpose, Nuestra Señora de la Santísima Trinidad, or in English, Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity.
[A/N: This was a real ship, although built in 1769, I made it show up earlier.]
The Nuestra Señora de la Santísima Trinidad, popularly known as Santísima Trinidad, was the largest warship in the world in the 18th century and the only ship of its time built with four battery decks. Nicknamed "El Escorial de los Mares" (The Escorial of the Seas), the Spanish colossus possessed unparalleled artillery capabilities, but was also known for its slow maneuverability and excessive weight.
It was built in Cuba, measuring almost 60 meters in length, with a displacement of nearly 5,000 tons, and possessing 120 cannons.
Rigel would have chosen this ship as his flagship if he hadn't already annexed Jormun to Ragnarok.
Its slow speed could easily be outwitted by the power of the hat, although it was slower than Ragnarok, the size of that thing was ridiculous, as was its firepower, that thing had three times more cannons than Ragnarok.
Of course, Rigel didn't normally use that ship, keeping it tucked away in his ship's locker, waiting for the right moment.
Finally... the treasure he has amassed so far, partly in jewels, partly in gold, partly in valuable items, Rigel even managed to trade a good amount of platinum with the Spanish during this time, they currently consider platinum to be a type of low-quality silver, which makes it incredibly cheap.
Rigel managed to get as much as he could, although only a few kilos. He didn't know if it had any use, but it was easy and cheap to get, so he took it.
It wasn't just platinum, a good portion of his gold was traded for precious stones and noble metals.
Rigel was also planning to create some Central Pearls like the one that powers Atlantis in the future, so that means another space filled.
The oysters of Atlantis are incredibly large, but their pearls, if not shaped, are useless. Fortunately, Calypso managed to shape the pearls for him, he has already obtained dozens of these giant pearls, but he didn't plan to do it here. If he did, each one would cost a magical passport, he would simply keep the pearls and work with them in the magical world.
Rigel considered bringing some animals from Atlantis as well, such as a giant, fertilized queen bee, so that once he arrived in the magical world, he could create a beehive and obtain honey continuously!
He also collected many of the seeds from Atlantis, especially the flowers that bees like, but these are not considered magical items or living beings.
He thought about taking a fertilized female giant moth, so he could get giant silkworms!
So, Jack, Kraken, Wand, Compass, Ship, Bee, Moth.
Seven places filled, perhaps he should take another ship if he needs more space.
There were 5 left.
Perhaps he should take Clemens as well? He wondered if he should take Will and Elizabeth, Elizabeth would probably appreciate it, but Rigel knew that Will wasn't really the adventurous type, he would probably agree for Elizabeth's sake, but he would always be worried about her.
He felt that asking would likely create a rift in their relationship, so in the end, he decided to remain silent, he preferred not to do that.
Rigel stopped thinking about it, sailing upriver with Calypso, looking towards the Dutchman. Bootstrap's Bill figure was already standing on the bow of the ship, looking directly at them. Furthermore, in the distance, Will had already realized what had happened here, turned the ships around, and was coming towards them.
Rigel sensed that the reunion between father and son was about to happen.
[A/N: Did I forget anything to bring? Remember that items granted by the Adventure Book and the sapphires attached to the crown do not require magical passports.]
