Chapter 103 - Chap.102 - Heading to World's End

As he emerged from the dream, Rigel blinked slightly, feeling Salazar moving across his body and hearing Jack's screeching not far away.

Rigel looked at the snake, the snake looked at him, it spat out its tongue as a simple word was uttered by Rigel. "Hunger."

Rigel rolled his eyes, that snake only knew how to sleep and beg for food.

"Go ask Jack, why are you asking me?" Rigel said in Parseltongue, rolling his eyes at Salazar, pushing him aside as he straightened up, looking around.

Not far away, Jack was already at the table, next to the fruit basket, peeling the skin off a mango and eating happily.

The table already had fresh bread, cheese, and eggs, as well as orange juice in a pitcher. Calypso wasn't far away, reading a book in bed.

She smiled as soon as she saw Rigel stand up, putting the book aside. She stood up as she approached him, extending her hand to help him rise from the coffin.

Rigel didn't refuse, he calmly left, taking his wand and casting his daily cleansing spells before walking to sit at the table. Calypso followed him and sat down beside him.

The pair didn't speak, not because they were fighting or anything like that, it had simply become routine, they no longer needed to exchange words all the time, the mere company of each other already satisfied them, especially Rigel.

He was a quiet fellow, and Calypso seemed to have noticed this, she realized that acting was much better than talking with Rigel, as long as she didn't overdo the intimacy. Rigel accepted the closeness calmly, he had grown accustomed to having her around.

Rigel could easily help himself, but Calypso had already picked up the cutlery and started putting the food on his plate, the food was still warm, even though it hadn't just been made, clearly the effect of the magic.

Taking the juice pitcher and pouring two glasses, one for him and one for her, they settled down and began to eat. Calypso didn't need to eat, but she still enjoyed it very much, it seemed to make their closeness evident.

"Where are we?" Rigel asked calmly.

"We're close to the entrance." Calypso said.

Rigel nodded, without asking anything else. They ate in silence. Jack had already gotten dirty again. Calypso simply smiled at the monkey while waving her hand, wiping him off.

Jack had been used to being cleaned for a long time, he simply shouted a thank you as he jumped away to help Salazar catch rats. It was an activity Jack enjoyed, so Rigel let the monkey help.

As soon as the door opened for Jack to pass through, a freezing chill entered the room, but the door quickly closed, the temperature returning to a comfortable warmth.

In fact, there were no rats on the ship, as soon as they left, Rigel looked at Calypso, who waved her hand again, and a small gray mouse appeared on the floor, quickly running away from the room through a crack. It would 'play' with Jack to keep him entertained.

They finished eating and went out onto the deck, despite the intense cold with sub-zero temperatures, neither Rigel nor Calypso seemed to mind, going out in their normal clothes.

Looking around, only the sea and icebergs were visible.

They were heading to 'Davy Jones's Locker', the place where Jack was trapped at the end of the second movie.

Around them, only the zombies that had no problem with the cold were present on the ship, around the ship, no other ship was nearby, for this journey, only Ragnarok came.

Rigel spent several months building his fleet and hunting heinous criminals, using the power of the Fountain of Youth to increase his life expectancy. Calypso said that with what he already had, he could live for at least a thousand years.

It would be much more so if life expectancy at that time wasn't so low, especially considering that most heinous criminals lived in precarious conditions.

It was ridiculous how easy it was to extend his life in this world, but the number of heinous criminals at sea was rapidly dwindling thanks to Rigel's relentless hunt, which was a shame.

Because of the stories about him, most heinous criminals didn't even want to sail anymore.

Rigel thought that if he weren't so interested in the rainbow reward, he would like to stay in this place for decades, learning magic and using the fountain of youth continuously.

Perhaps if he hadn't seen what the Pseudo Rainbow power could do, he wouldn't be so interested in that reward, he just wanted his choice to be worthwhile.

Rigel looked at Calypso, who seemed curious ever since he asked to come here, in fact, she could have simply taken them there directly, but Rigel refused. He had been busy for months, he felt this leisurely trip would be like "taking a vacation". In the end, Calypso just shrugged and guided him there along the long road.

They got the map from Sao Feng, who was very 'happy' to give it to them, then set off on a solo trip.

Besides Rigel and Calypso, only Jack and Salazar were alive on the ship.

Speaking of those two, Salazar was extremely unhappy being dragged around by Jack, normally he wouldn't get so angry, but in such cold weather, it was extremely irritating for the snake.

If it weren't for his magical blood, Salazar would have already turned into an ice pop.

Calypso looked at Rigel, but her feelings were becoming increasingly complicated inside, she sensed that the time was approaching when Rigel would leave, she could feel it from the visible change in Rigel's mentality and actions.

He used to run around in a hurry, now he seemed extremely calm.

She wasn't naive, but she didn't bring it up, at that point, Calypso just wanted to feel that feeling for longer.

She looked away, fixing her gaze on the sea, just like Rigel. The silence between them was comfortable, but whether it was Rigel or Calypso, they both knew they were approaching an intersection where everything would be decided.
