Chapter 20 - Chap.18 - All aboard.

Will sensed that the witch was truly wicked.

It wasn't just Will who thought that way.

Jack, completely naked, was trying, in vain, to escape from a dozen soapy brushes that were scrubbing him forcefully.

"Help! Help me! Oh, damn it! You stupid brush, not this place! Shit!" Jack yelled at the top of his lungs.

Rigel was watching the scene, trying not to laugh, while Will, beside him, wanted to look away but couldn't.

Seeing a naked man running from a group of magical brushes that were scrubbing him forcefully was... well, he didn't know what it was, but he decided not to anger Rigel in the future.

Finally, Jack reappeared before them, completely soaked and with his skin raw and bleeding.

Jack opened his mouth to speak, but Rigel pointed his wand at him. Before Jack could do anything, Rigel spoke. "Ventus."

Jack was nearly thrown backward by the blast of wind, but he quickly regained his footing, and finally, he was dry again.

Rigel pursed his lips. his teeth and illnesses still needed treatment, but that could wait.

He had already cleaned Jack's clothes, so he threw them to him before turning to leave. "Get dressed quickly."

Will stifled a laugh while Jack had a defeated look on his face. "I hate witches."

Rigel could have actually used a spell to cleanse directly, but what was the fun in that?

As for wasting time? He's not worried. with his pirate hat, his Ship can go 50% faster, which would save a lot of travel time.

"So you stole the Interceptor?" Will was surprised. the trio had stolen a boat from the docks and were heading towards the cove where the Interceptor was hidden.

"A very pirate-like attitude, I must say." Jack commented, still feeling his skin tingling, especially when his clothes rubbed against it, making him tremble.

He and Will were rowing while Rigel simply watched the endless sea. although it wasn't his first time sailing, it was the first time he'd done it during the day, and the feeling was distinctly different.

"I'm a pirate." Rigel shrugged, ignoring Jack's comment.

"I'd toast to that if I had rum." Jack sighed.

Will pursed his lips, hating pirates of any kind, but like Jack as a lesson, he wasn't in the mood to bother Rigel.

The two rowed quickly. stealing the boat was easy and didn't attract Commodore Norrington's attention. After all, prison was the last thing on their minds right now. they were after Elizabeth.

Rigel also didn't want Norrington to get involved. he was a good man who met a tragic end precisely because of his involvement, and it was better to let him continue living his life.

When they finally spotted the Interceptor, Jack smiled while Will breathed a sigh of relief.

"Can you really find the Pearl?" Will asked Rigel.

"Me? No, but luckily we have one of the few men who can on board." Rigel smiled at Will.

Jack smiled back, pointing to himself, as if to make it clear, causing Will to roll his eyes.

"Barbossa docks at Isla de Muerta, luckily, I know how to get there." Jack explained to Will.

"Then let's go quickly, before they do something to Elizabeth!" Will urged.

"Don't worry, first we need to increase the crew." Rigel said.

"Ah... I imagine you already have a destination in mind." Jack said, knowing what Rigel meant.

They looked at each other and said at the same time. "Tortuga."

"Tortuga?" Will asked, confused.

"Don't worry, my young friend, it'll stay on the way." Jack explained, as the boat finally pulled alongside the Interceptor.

The three quickly climbed aboard, but soon fell silent upon hearing the situation inside the ship.

Jack blinked, Will looked stunned, and Rigel sighed.

Its crew members were huddled together on deck, sleeping like pigs.

"Are these them?" Jack asked Rigel.

"My crew." Rigel explained.

Jack looked Rigel up and down and said. "Do you have some kind of curse that makes you look like children?"

"No, we're just children." Rigel shrugged.

Jack stopped and put a finger to his chin, thoughtfully. "That's really unexpected."

"Are we really going to take a bunch of kids with us?" Will looked unhappy. as an honorable fellow, he couldn't ignore it like Jack.

Rigel ignored him and shouted. "Wake up!"

As soon as he shouted, the boys jumped, startled, looking around. Seeing Rigel, they calmed down, but seeing two men with their captain, they were a little surprised, though they didn't think much of it.

"Come on, prepare the ship to set sail, raise the anchor, unfurl the sails, we don't have all day!" Rigel shouted.

"Yes, Captain!" The group finally began preparing the boat, much faster than yesterday after Thomas's explanation.

Even so, it was clear that they were still rookies. Jack and Will's lips twitched, feeling the urge to complain about this crew, but in the end they ignored it.

Jack went straight for the helm, but as soon as he touched it, he felt the snake around his neck tighten a little more, causing his hand to freeze. He slowly turned his head, seeing Rigel staring directly at him.

Jack gave his characteristic smile and pretended to be cleaning his nails.

Rigel rolled his eyes. "You two go help them."

Will shrugged. he knew how to navigate. Jack opened his mouth to argue, but saw Rigel's wand slowly rising.

"Hey! Captain! I'm coming!" Jack ran to help.

Rigel let out a slight snort, somewhere between exasperation and amusement, ignoring the idiot.
