Chapter 13 - The Ripple Effect

The reaction was immediate.

Not loud at first.

But fast.

Inside the company, teams moved with urgency. Orders were being executed, positions shifted, funds redirected.

What had been a cautious recovery plan just hours ago… was now an aggressive expansion.

And outside—

The market noticed.

Something Feels Off

In trading rooms across the city, screens flickered with unusual movement.

"Why is this sector moving?"

"Who triggered this?"

"This wasn't in the projections…"

It didn't make sense.

Not yet.

But it was happening.

Back Inside

Amara stood by the glass wall, watching the numbers rise.

Not dramatically.

But steadily.

It was working.

Behind her, one of the executives spoke quietly.

"We're gaining faster than expected."

She nodded slightly.

"Of course we are," she said.

Because now…

They weren't reacting.

They were leading.

Franko's Position

Across the room, Franko stood silently, eyes on the main screen.

No excitement.

No surprise.

Just focus.

"This is only the beginning," he said.

Amara turned slightly.

"You're very certain," she replied.

Franko didn't look at her.

"I remember how this plays out," he said.

A subtle statement.

But heavy.

Doubt Fades

The same executive who questioned him earlier stepped closer.

"We underestimated this," he admitted.

Franko didn't respond immediately.

Then said:

"Yes."

Not arrogant.

Not mocking.

Just truth.

Outside Pressure Builds

Meanwhile, other firms were starting to react.

"What are they doing?"

"Why are they moving so aggressively?"

"Do they know something we don't?"

Confusion turned into urgency.

And urgency…

Turned into mistakes.

The Advantage

Back inside, everything was controlled.

Every move had direction.

Every step had purpose.

Franko watched it all unfold like a replay.

Because to him…

It was.

A Private Moment

Amara walked over and stood beside him.

For a moment, neither spoke.

Then she said quietly:

"You didn't just predict this."

A pause.

"You're guiding it."

Franko's eyes remained on the screen.

"Yes," he said.

No explanation.

No denial.

A Shift in Understanding

Amara studied him again.

This wasn't normal.

This wasn't luck.

This wasn't even high-level intuition.

It was something else.

Something deeper.

And she knew it.

The Results Show

"Profit margins are climbing," someone announced.

"Stability is returning faster than expected."

"Market position improving—rapidly."

Voices filled the room again.

But this time…

They weren't panicked.

They were impressed.

Still Rising

Franko finally looked away from the screen.

Everything was moving exactly as planned.

Step by step.

Controlled.

Efficient.

Unstoppable.

"This is how it starts," he said quietly.

Not to anyone.

But to himself.

Because he knew…

This ripple wouldn't stop here.

It would spread.

Grow.

And eventually—

Turn into something no one could control.

Except him.
