Chapter 6 - A Descendant Of Vatya (Chapter 6)

For more than one hour, Anant observed almost the entire life of his ancestor.

From the very beginning. From birth to childhood to growth to power.

From the early stages of political upliftment that led to the rise of the Samaya Dynasty, to the transformation of Samaya from a promising grandson into a wise and capable grandfather— everything unfolded before his eyes. He saw the eradication of demons within the dynasty, the expansion of influence, and the countless decisions that shaped the lineage.

From birth to death, nothing was left out.

The entire sequence played at varying speeds. It was unlike normal viewing, this was not slow, not gentle and not even human.

The entire sequence played at varimg speeds.

Sometimes at 2x or 3x, allowing detailed observation. At other times, it accelerated drastically—10x, 50x, even reaching 100x speed.

Despite this, Anant kept up without difficulty.

Every movement, every expression, every decision— he processed it all as if it were happening in real time.

Meanwhile, in the restricted sub-space, the two dragons were watching.

They had never seen anything like this.

Even at 100x speed, most descendants would struggle to grasp fragments of the story. Yet Anant followed everything perfectly, without missing a single detail.

The male dragon slowly nodded, his gaze fixed.

"His comprehension talent is beyond even the Primordial Gods."

Even he did not fully realize what he was witnessing. If he had seen even a fraction of Parajay's accumulated experiences across one hundred reincarnations, the shock alone would have shattered his existence countless times.

The female dragon spoke after a brief pause.

"Indeed… we should use this opportunity. It has come to us."

Her tone was calm, but there was a clear sense of intent behind it.

Back in the projection, Samaya's life arc finally reached its end.

After that, the sequence restarted— but in a different form.

A simplified version appeared, labeled implicitly as "what other descendants usually see."

This version focused only on key highlights.

The war against demons.

Conflicts with humans.

The establishment of the dynasty.

However, all extreme details were removed. The gore was gone, and even the demon war was reduced to strategic explanations rather than brutal depictions.

It was controlled.

Filtered.

Safe.

When this repetition ended, Anant expected to return to the library.

But instead, he found himself still inside the book.

This time, the space resembled the very library he had come from. In front of him was the same book— yet he remained within it.

Before he could think further, everything changed except " Still inside?"

Information flooded his consciousness.

Not gradually.

Not in waves.

But all at once.

The entire history of the Vatsya lineage surged into his mind.

At a speed that defied logic, not 10x and not even 100x. But it was 10,000,000x.

It was not something that could be perceived normally. Even existence itself seemed to blur under such speed.

Yet Anant absorbed everything.

Every hidden detail.

Every untold truth.

Every fragment of history.

He even understood something that had not been clearly explained before—

Why the lineage was called Descendants of Vatsya instead of Descendants of Samaya.

In the restricted sub-space, both dragons fell silent.

Even the book itself seemed to pause.

For the first time, something beyond their understanding had occurred.

"…Impossible," the male dragon muttered.

Even the book was unable to process what was happening.

This was no longer a matter of talent. Even Primordial Grandmaster Gods would not be able to comprehend information at such a speed.

And yet—

A three-year-old child had done it effortlessly.

The entire sequence, which should have been incomprehensible, ended in just over half an hour.

With that, the three-hour duration concluded.

Anant opened his eyes.

He was back in the library.

Seated in his small chair.

In his own body.

In front of him, Natsu was waiting.

She had already prepared sweets, snacks, and a cup of tea, knowing how overwhelming the experience could be for a child.

Anant took a deep breath.

Then another.

His body reacted naturally, even if his mind had already processed everything.

To him, the experience was not difficult—but it was dense. Too much information compressed into too little time.

Natsu observed him and smiled gently. ' He must have seen a bit more than usual...'

"Eat some sweets and snacks. Don't overthink it."

She pushed the tray toward him.

"Even if you forget, it's fine. You'll have more chances to enter the book in the future."

Anant picked up a piece of sweet and began eating.

Slowly, his expression changed.

The overwhelming aura disappeared, replaced by the innocent look of a three-year-old child.

He took a sip of tea, then another bite of sweet, continuing calmly.

Perfect acting.

"I have some work," Natsu said as she stood up. "After you refresh yourself, try to remember what you saw and write down some points. Give it a critique."

She paused briefly before adding,

"In about an hour, Father will come to evaluate your assessment. Don't worry—none of your brothers or sisters, including me, ever scored beyond fine marks."

With that, she left the library.

Silence filled the room.

Anant finished the remaining sweets and drank the tea.

Then he leaned back slightly and thought.

"Since I've already seen similar things many times… and even learned through different lives how to control mana inside such spaces after watching ancestors…"

He paused.

"…I should try practicing it."

Another thought followed immediately.

"…No, I should finish the assessment first."

With that, Anant made his decision.
