Chapter 5 - Taming Help (Chapter 5)

A moment of silence passed which was heavy and Unsettling.

The two dragons stood before him, their massive forms unmoving, yet their presence alone felt suffocating.

They were not looking at him anymore. Instead they were looking at each other.

Not speaking. Not moving. Yet somehow communicating.

'Telepathy…' Anant immediately understood.

That realization alone was enough to make his situation feel even more dangerous.

Still he could not remain silent forever. Gathering himself, He spoke.

"May I ask…?" His voice trembled. Weak. Filled with fear. "Where… am I?"

The question lingered in the air. For a brief moment— Nothing happened.

Then, both dragons slowly nodded to each other. And finally their gazes returned to him.

"In a restricted sub-space… created by the book."

The voice was deep. Controlled.

The answer was quite Simple. Yet it sent a chill down Anant's spine.

'Restricted…?'

The two dragons had already recognized him the moment his blood touched the formation.

They knew exactly who he was— A descendant of the Vatsya lineage.

But what shocked them Was not his identity. It was his presence. Because— This place— Was not meant for him.

Only two humans had ever been allowed to enter this sub-space.

The founder, Samaya And One other.

Everyone else— Was forbidden.

Not just restricted— Forbidden.

The requirements to enter this space were absurd.

One had to possess complete knowledge of the Vatsya bloodline— From its origins— To its present state.

Even its darkest secrets. Things that were never written. Never spoken.

Things Anant Should not have known.

Yet, Here he was. Standing before them.

"How may I leave this space?!" Anant asked.

His voice was sharper now. Still trembling, But filled with urgency.

He had not expected this. Two anomalies On the same day.

First— That egg. And Now— This.

Something was clearly damn wrong.

The dragons observed him silently. Then one of them spoke.

"We can help you leave this place…"

A pause.

"And return you to the original sub-space storyline."

The other continued—

"If you promise… to visit again."

Anant froze.

That condition caught him completely off guard.

'Visit again…?'

He did not even know how he got here.

"But… I have no idea how I came here…" he said.

His voice was quieter now. Less fearful— More cautious.

Because he understood something.

'This is not a place I can simply walk out of…'

This was a trap. Not a physical one, But a situational one.

If he refused, He might not leave.

If he agreed, he would be tied to this place. And likely, Forced to return Again. And again. To learn more. To uncover more. About the Vatsya bloodline.

About things— He was not supposed to know.

"Indeed," one dragon replied calmly. "You do not know. The book sent you here. So you don't have to worry about it."

'The book… sent me?' Anant's thoughts sharpened. 'So it has its own consciousness…'

A faint realization formed.

'As expected… from something given by three ancient gods.'

Silence followed.

He thought.

Calculated.

Weighed his options.

There was only one logical choice.

"…I accept."

His voice trembled again— But his decision was firm.

The dragons nodded.

Agreement reached.

Without another word— One of them raised its claw. A faint ripple spread through space. And in the next instant— Anant disappeared.

He reappeared Elsewhere. A different space. A different scene. The original sub-space storyline.

Before him— A new moment unfolded.

His ancestor, Samaya, had just been born.

Meanwhile, Back in the restricted sub-space.

Silence returned.

The two dragons remained where they were.

Watching the empty space where Anant once stood.

Then, One of them spoke.

"What do you think?"

A pause.

"How did he come here?"

Its eyes narrowed slightly.

"I am not able to sense any soul mark on him."

"That alone should make it impossible to bypass the restriction."

The other dragon responded.

"…Indeed."

Its voice was slower.

More thoughtful.

"I believed it was impossible."

"Until this child appeared."

A brief silence followed.

Then it continued.

"So far, we knew only a few beings could enter this place."

"The founder, Samaya. And The other chosen one. And the three ancient gods."

A pause.

"…But it seems that theory has failed."

The first dragon let out a low breath.

"And it does not even look like he was sent by the Dragon God…"

For a moment, Both dragons spoke at the same time.

"He was not sent."

Silence.

Heavy.

Uncertain.

Finally, One of them spoke again.

"We can not do anything for now."

The other nodded.

"If this descendant of Vatsya returns…"

Their voices aligned.

"…then we shall ask for his help."

And with that, The restricted sub-space fell silent once more.

Waiting.

For the day, The anomaly would return.
