Chapter 3 - Ch 3- High Cortisol Bakugo

The injuries on Katsuki Bakugo's face and hands were all Arthur's doing.

And the reason Arthur ended up suspended was simple. He used his Quirk to beat the hell out of Bakugo.

Originally, the two of them had no real connection.

Yeah, Bakugo was loud, aggressive, and full of himself.

But to be fair, he hadn't actually done anything illegal with his Quirk.

So even though he acted like a bully, he'd never really gotten punished for it growing up.

At worst, he just used his explosions to scare people. Like he was doing just now.

And his favorite target?

Izuku Midoriya.

There was just one problem.

Bakugo had a seriously filthy mouth.

Meanwhile, Arthur Pendragon...

In his previous life, he'd grown up with his grandparents after losing his parents. Especially before high school, he was quiet, withdrawn, and honestly... an easy target.

He'd dealt with plenty of verbal bullying.

So yeah, he had zero tolerance for people who ran their mouths.

And last week, Bakugo messed up.

He provoked Arthur.

Bad idea.

Arthur responded with a straight-up beating using his Quirk, the Stand, The World.

If a dog bites me, I won't bite back.

But I will kill it.

That was Arthur's mindset when it came to Bakugo.

And the result?

"You bastard!"

Bakugo roared, ignoring the pain in his still-healing fingers.

"Die!!!"

Arthur just smiled faintly at the rage coming his way.

Thud!

In the next instant, Bakugo was sent flying like he got hit by a truck.

His palms sparked as he tried to stabilize himself mid-air and rush back in.

Thump!

He hit the ground hard after flying over ten meters.

"Kacchan!"

"Katsuki!"

Midoriya and the two lackeys shouted at the same time.

Then they looked back at Arthur.

Wait...

He hadn't even used his Stand?

Bakugo pushed himself up, clutching his stomach, teeth clenched.

"This... this guy... just now... that was just a punch?"

Arthur raised his right fist, smirking.

"Someone like you? I don't even need my Stand."

"The hell did you say!?"

Bakugo lost it and charged again.

His fist came in hot, sparks bursting as he aimed straight for Arthur's face.

Arthur let out a quiet laugh, shifting slightly to the side and dodging by a hair.

At the same time, he brought his knee up, aiming straight for Bakugo's stomach.

Boom!

Bakugo instantly fired an explosion from his left hand, blasting himself sideways like a rocket.

He barely dodged the hit.

"Nice, Katsuki!"

The two extras cheered like idiots.

"Kacchan!"

Midoriya looked relieved too, like he forgot whose side he was even on.

To be fair, Bakugo's combat instincts were no joke.

"Die!"

Still mid-air, Bakugo twisted and threw another punch.

"Arthur-kun!!"

The two girls behind him screamed.

Arthur just let out a cold chuckle.

"You forgot something. My Stand."

In the next second, The World appeared out of nowhere behind Bakugo, golden and imposing.

"That's... Arthur-kun's Quirk!"

Midoriya gasped.

Mid-air, The World didn't hesitate.

It whipped its leg out and slammed a kick straight into Bakugo's side.

"Ugh!?"

The impact knocked the air out of him instantly.

His vision went blank for a second.

Then he was sent flying again, crashing straight into a tree and snapping it in half.

"Katsuki!"

"Kacchan!"

The two lackeys and Midoriya rushed over.

Bakugo lay there, covered in splinters and leaves, new bruises already forming on his face.

"Get... lost, Deku... I don't need... your pity."

He forced his eyes open, voice shaky but stubborn as ever.

By then, Arthur had already walked over, The World standing behind him, looking down at Bakugo like it was nothing.

The two cronies froze.

Their legs practically gave out.

"fuck off."

Arthur said it casually.

That was enough.

They didn't even hesitate. They turned and ran away.

Arthur glanced back at Bakugo with a faint grin.

"Wow. Your friends ditched you fast."

"Shut... shut up, you freak..."

Bakugo gritted out.

He'd started calling Arthur "Stand freak" because of his Quirk.

"Still talking? Guess I didn't hit you hard enough."

Arthur smiled slightly.

The World stepped forward again, fist clenched.

"Stop! Stop, Arthur-kun!"

Midoriya jumped in front of him, eyes watery but determined.

"This is too much! And... and it's illegal to use your Quirk like this!"

"Move, Deku! I don't need you saving me!"

Bakugo looked more pissed about Midoriya stepping in than getting beaten.

Arthur looked at the two of them and muttered under his breath,

"You guys are seriously something else."

Then he waved his hand.

The World disappeared.

"Arthur-kun, are you okay?"

"We were so worried!"

The two girls ran up to him immediately.

"I'm fine, I'm fine. I just went a little overboard."

Arthur scratched his head, acting a bit guilty.

"I just can't stand people abusing their Quirks."

Midoriya and Bakugo just stared at him.

...Seriously?

"That's okay, Arthur-kun, you don't need to feel bad."

"Yeah, he totally deserved it. If you didn't step in, you'd be the one hurt."

The girls looked at him with obvious admiration.

"Alright, enough of that."

Arthur casually grabbed both their hands.

"So, where are we going? Wanna check out a love hotel?"

"Arthur-kun!"

"That's way too fast!"

"We literally just met!"

They protested hard.

But the slight smiles on their faces gave them away.

Honestly?

If a guy wanted to lose his virginity...

High school really was the perfect time.

U.A. High School, faculty meeting room.

All Might's proposal to add another student through special admission next week completely killed the mood in the room. Every teacher just sat there in silence for a few seconds.

Finally, one of them spoke up.

A tall, muscular man frowned slightly. "Can you explain why? Even if it's your recommendation, those special admission spots are limited. We can't just hand one out randomly."

This was Vlad King, whose Quirk, Blood Control, made him more than a little intimidating.

All Might scratched his cheek, clearly struggling to come up with a good explanation. After a long pause, he forced out, "Well… he's really strong. I think he has what it takes to become a great hero."

Midnight, lounging in her chair, let out a tired yawn. "If that's all, then why doesn't he just take the regular entrance exam? Why go through special admission?"

All Might froze. His smile stiffened. "That's because… actually…"

Before he could finish, Principal Nezu calmly stepped in.

"He's from Aldera Junior High. Last week, he used his Quirk on a classmate and caused quite a scene."

The room immediately got noisier.

Nezu took a sip of tea before continuing, "So right now, whether he's even allowed to take the exam is already… questionable."

Clearly, he had done his homework on Arthur Pendragon.

Hearing that the student had already used his Quirk violently, several teachers started voicing their concerns.

Ectoplasm spoke in a low voice, "Isn't that a problem? Bringing in a student who gets into fights like that?"

Present Mic just laughed it off. "Eh, I think it makes things more interesting. If All Might's backing him, he's gotta have something, right? What do you think, Aizawa?"

He nudged the man next to him.

Shota Aizawa, half-asleep as always, barely opened his eyes. "I don't care," he said flatly. "But if he ends up in my class and turns out to be useless, I'm expelling him. No hesitation."

The room went quiet again.

This was the same guy who had once expelled an entire class in one go. Nobody doubted him.

All Might blinked, suddenly remembering that the kid he recommended didn't exactly look like someone who'd be scared of getting expelled.

Nezu rested his paws together, thinking for a moment. "Alright then, let's vote. I support giving him a chance. Talented kids deserve opportunities. What about the rest of you?"

One by one, the teachers gave their opinions.

In the end, the votes in favor barely won out by two.

Aizawa abstained.

Decision made.

"Alright, it's settled," Nezu said. "All Might, inform the student. He'll take the special admission exam next week."

"All good!"

All Might quickly pulled out his phone and dialed Arthur's number.

The call rang for a while. Long enough that a few teachers started thinking no one would pick up.

Then, click.

"Hello?"

Arthur Pendragon's voice came through, sounding slightly impatient.

All Might had the call on speaker, so everyone heard it.

"Moshi moshi! Young Arthur, I've got good news. You've passed…"

Before he could finish, Arthur cut him off.

"Oh, it's you, All Might? If you're calling, I passed, right? So when's the exam?"

The entire room froze.

All Might felt like his soul just left his body for a second. He forced himself to stay calm.

"…Next week. Saturday. Come to U.A. for the special admission exam. Don't forget."

"Oh, got it. Tha-"

Beep.

All Might hung up before Arthur could even finish.

He stood there awkwardly, flashing his signature smile while scratching the back of his head. "Ah ha… haha… what an energetic young man! Anyway, I'll be going now!"

And just like that, he practically ran out of the room.

Silence.

Again.

After a few seconds, Midnight, who had voted in favor earlier, slowly raised her hand. "Um… can we still change our vote?"

"You made your choice. Deal with it," Aizawa replied without even looking at her.

But even he was thinking the same thing.

Is this guy actually going to be okay?

Nezu calmly sipped his tea. "There are plenty of heroes with messy personalities. As long as it's not criminal, it's manageable."

---

Meanwhile, in a hotel room.

Arthur was lying back on the bed, casually holding a girl on each side.

Both of them were flushed, clearly shy but not exactly resisting either.

One of them, her voice soft, asked, "Arthur-kun… I heard you say 'All Might' just now. Do you… actually know him?"

Arthur smirked a little. "You could say that."

The girl on his other side immediately lit up. "Seriously? Then can you get me his autograph? I've wanted one forever!"

Arthur glanced at her, amused. "Maybe. Depends."

"Depends on what?" they both asked at the same time.

He chuckled, clearly enjoying himself. "Simple. You two agree to one condition, and I'll think about it."

They hesitated. "What kind of condition?"

Arthur leaned in slightly, his tone playful.

"How about for starters, you both get on top of eachother?"

The two girls immediately blushed harder, muttering complaints under their breath.

"Shameless…"

"Seriously…"

But a couple minutes later, they still ended up snuggling closer to him anyway.
