A blue screen pops up infront of ryan giving him the message. Poking it ryan goes to the main part of the system where he sees a box thats says newbie package.
"The system lets you get special awards for certain task and for each new pokemon type you catch user gets a unique abilty."
" Each type package rarity goes from White-Green-Blue-Red-Gold. Rarity for each type package is random."

System gives basic acient pokemon history book
System gives basic breeder knowledge book"

Ryan get three new things to open in his inventory. Leaving the water type package for last he uses the basic breeder knowledge book.
All of the sudden ryan gets a small headache as lots of pokemon breeder knowledge gets flooded into his head.
"Wow shit that has a kick to it. Lets try this one."
Ryan used the ancient pokemon history book and go loads more knowledge. After a minute of adjustment he looks at the real prize, the water type gold package.
"Come to papa, lets see whats this give me?"

Ryan gave froakie battle bond who was suprised at the new feeling in his body before it settled deep inside him.

'Froakie already had protein which changed his type to that type but now adaptability. So does that mean every move froakie uses is STAB and twice as effective. He even leveled up as well to standard tier'
Ryan was amazed at froakie potential, imagining how much of a beast hes going to be.
"Alright froakie its getting late so lets get some sleep, how about tomorrow we do some training to see what you got."
Froakie cheers wanting to show off tomorrow. Ryan doesn't have a bed but he sent up a hammock in the one room in his cabin.
Ryan got in and motioned froakie to jump in as well. Froakie did as asked getting comfortable on Ryan's chest as ryan gets a blanket over then.

the next morning ryan and froakie return to the forest to practice moves.
"Froaki use double team then water pulse"
After an 3 hours of training ryan and froakie get in sync even doing a combo move.
Froakie jumps as multiple clones appear holding a water pulse. Together they all throw them at a tree knocking it down.
"Nice job froakie"
Froakie only a little tired gives ryan a thumbs up.
"Lets stop for now and go to the store. I need some ingredients to make you some energy cubes."
Ryan now with the knowledge of a breeder can make Basic energy cubes for water type Pokémon.
Froakie nods then jumps on ryans shoulder as they head into town. Going into the local pokemart ryan is stopped.
"Ryan?"
Ryan turns around confused as he sees the most beautiful girl in his class.Yuki Zima of the Zima family.
The Zima family his a small family but they some of the most powerful ice type trainers in the country.
"Yuki? What are you doing here?"
"Im here doing an errand for my mother. Wait is that a froakie!? How'd you get one there super rare!?"
"Yeah froakie and I met yesterday. He wanted to become my first partner. Ain't that right buddy?"
"Froakie!"
Froakie agreed giving him a thumbs. Yuki had a shocked expression suprised ryan caught such a rare pokemon.
"Thats good. It seems you two are already good friends, im happy for you. I was a little worried what you were gonna do considering...."
Yuki didmt to finsh her sentence already knowing what she meant.
The Zima protects this area and even have there own gym in town. The Lee family owns a property in town but the main branch lives in the capital.
The only reason the Lee family is in ravenwood town is because they have beem going to the ravenwood academy for generations.
"I dont need them, everything worked out just fine with froakie here."
"Still though the Lee family is powerful and have a grudge against you. Won't they target you now that you have froakie."
"I figured that would be the case but froakie and me are strong we can handle them."

Ryan grins as him and froakie fist bump. Yuki frowns at what she thinks is arrogance.
"Well why dont you prove it ? How about a pokemon battle, I got my starter pokemon yesterday aswell from my mom."
Yuki smiles confidently holding up a pokemon. Ryan thinks for a second looking at froakie.
'This could be good experience for me and froakie.'
"Alright your on."
Ryan and Yuki go across the street to the park where a pokemon arena is.
"Go froakie"

Potential: Elite four
Yuki throws here pokemom ball and an alolan vulpix comes out.
Ryan was suprised but rembered here family are know for there ice types.
'Level 13 and elite four potential not bad, her family resources really give her and edge over most people'
"If you don't mind ill take the first move. Vulpix use powder snow!"
"Froakie use double team to dodge then get in close with quick attack"
Ryan sharp commands saves froakie as he duplicates himself letting one get taken by powder snow.
Froakie uses quick attack and faster then Yuki expected slams into her vulpix.
"Keep it up with cut"
"Vulpix use ice shard and get some distance."
"Froakie knock them away with cut."
Seeing the ice shards froakie starts using cut to knock away the shards of ice.
"Froakie throw your frubbles at vulpix then use water pulse."
"Dodge it vulpix"
Vulpix tried to to dodge but got stuck in froakies frubbles and got hit with a water pulse.
Thanks to froakies abilities a STAB water pulse does twice as much damage. Vulpix held on but is very hurt from that water pulse.
"Froakie that's enough. Yuki that should show you what we're capable of."
"Your right I don't what vulpix to get hurt anymore then it is. Ryan im still worried for you. The Lee family are a lot stronger then me."
"Thanks but i can take care of myself. I appreciate you though."
Yuki blushed lightly as ryan gave her a charming smile. She returns vulpix to her pokball and walks to ryan.
"Next time ill win so your not allowed to lose to the Lee family alright, not until I beat you."
"Haha will see who wins next time. Me and froakie are gonna be a lot stronger."
Ryan and Yuki parts ways as ryan heads home with froakie.
"Ah shit i forgot to get what I need from the store."
