We finally reached the place,
Keifer: "So tell what is so wonderful about this place that you made me take the bus here?"
I just rolled my eyes and told,
Jay: "Come in and I'll show you."
I went inside to be greeted by an old man, who was kind of like the head here,
Head: "Welcome, Welcome Jay, how are you doing?"
Jay: "I am good sir, how are you all doing, it's been a while since I saw you all."
Head: "We are doing good with the help of your order and did you like our last one?"
Jay: "I loved them and so did the clients and we even got new clients because of this."
Head: "That's so to hear and is it a new project now and who is this young man."
I turned and looked at Keifer before introducing him,
Jay: "Ohh, this is Keifer, my new business partner. And Keifer this is John."
They introduced themselves and shook hands,
Head: "Shall we move ahead see the craft work?"
Jay: "Sure, I am excited for your new designs."
Author's Pov
That's when they hear an old lady shouting and coming towards John,
Ray: "John, you have forgetten your lunch today too, you keep forgetting it daily and I have to make a trip here just to bring it."
John stops her and start speaking,
John: "Ray, There are people here, calm down for a bit." He said and took her away and after some time sent her off,
Here Jay went to see the hand paintings while Keifer was with her,
Jay: "This is soo beautiful" she said admiring them with a smile,
Keifer only briefly looked at it before his attention went to her, to be specific her smile, but he didn't realise it.
But someone else saw it, John and gave a knowing smile.
They were both still admiring the paintings and designs done by the worker,
In the middle Keifer got a phone so he moved away from Jay and started speaking and was about to go back to Jay when John went to him and started speaking,
John: "You know how women that we are dense."
Keifer was confused by his words but he still continued,
John: "I think it's the opposite, I mean why would I forget my lunch daily on purpose, It is just to see her face and spend some time with her on work, she just thinks I am forgetfully." He says and laughs and Keifer smile too after hearing his confession,
John: "Like I know how you were admiring Jay instead of looking at our paintings and designs."
Keifer's expression immediately changed when he said that, he couldn't comphrend what he was trying to say and started replying in a flustered manner,
Keifer: "No.. it's no-t, what you think it is"
He chuckles and says,
John: "Don't worry, I won't tell Jay." He says and laughs and moves leaving Keifer with mixed feelings.
Keifer stills on his place untill he hears Jay's voice,
Jay: "Keifer, Come here." She calls him excitedly,
He goes to her and She shows pieces of hand painting and embroidery, he actually start liking the work done by then and understand it's worth and admire them,
and she shows him a piece of art, it was a swan hand painted in a cloth,
Keifer eyes widen as soon as he saw this,
Keifer: "How much for this?"
Jay gets confused and look at him,
Staff: "I am sorry sir it's not for sale."
Keifer: "I am willing to pay triple."
Staff: "Still this has already been booked sir."
Jay pulls him to the side and calls him,
Jay: "What are you doing?"
Keifer: "I want that"
Jay: "But why are so adamant, they don't sell these if they are already been booked, they are ethical."
But she notices the change in his face,
Jay: "Keifer."
Keifer: "My mom made an exact painting just like that but it stayed at that monster's house and he destroyed it, I just know my mom would have loved it and I want it."
Jay: "Keifer, I am sorry."
Keifer: "I will be outside, you finish the deal and come."
Jay's Pov
She nods and move, while Keifer goes out,
She goes towards John,
John: "So shall we close the deal."
Jay: "Yes absolutely, but I also have a favour to ask you."
John: "What is it?"
Jay: " Can I get the painting by any chance, I know you guys don't sell after making a commitment but this is important please."
John: "Okay, I have never seen you like this, So okay I'll try my best but no promises." He says and move
I nod my head and after a while he returns,
John: "It was difficult, but I convinced the client, you can have it." He says and handover it to me,
Jay: "Thank you so much John."
John: "Jay, please you saved us when we were about to fall and you are one of the reasons people know us."
I smile and mutter a thank you again, and go out to see Keifer standing outside,
Jay: "Heyy"
He turns around and his eyes are little red like he cried,
Keifer: "Shall we leave?"
Jay: "Yeah, but before that." I say and hand over the painting to him,
He looks utterly shocked,
Keifer: "What? How did you do that?"
I smirk and say,
Jay: "I have my ways!"
Then I see a tear mixed smile in his face and that made me genuinely happy,
Keifer: "Thank you so much." He says and hugs me suddenly,
I was taken back by the hug but I did hug him back and pat him a little,
Then we pull away and,
Jay: "Now you are glad that you came all the way to this place in a bus?"
He chuckles and nods his head with a smile,
Jay: "Then we have to explore some more things here are you ready?"
He nods his head.
