Chapter 48 - Come To My Home

What is going on? Is this person Andrew? Is this the Andrew they know?

For a moment, these doubts appeared in everyone's minds.

It was Ethan, the guy who was always close with Andrew, who reacted first, running over excitedly.

"Oh my! Andy, your car is amazing! Did you just buy it?"

When Ethan said this, he deliberately raised his voice so that the people around could hear.

Andrew was stunned at first, not knowing what wind Ethan was catching.

However, upon seeing Olivia and Dicky and the others, Andrew knew that Ethan must have been uncomfortable being shown off to, and he needed to show off in return to save face.

Although Andrew didn't like showing off, he couldn't let his brother lose face at a time like this, so he decided to play along.

"I originally intended to interact with you all as a normal person, but since I've been discovered, I won't pretend anymore. I'm laying my cards on the table."

As soon as these words came out, Ethan instantly felt refreshed and invigorated, and even the other five people not far away inwardly cheered how satisfying it was.

Even though it wasn't them showing off, watching their friend show off and make others look bad was just satisfying!

Thrilling, so damn thrilling.

On the other side, Olivia and the others remained silent, their faces feeling hot, as if they had suddenly been slapped.

Lucy gently elbowed Olivia's arm and whispered, "Yuting, I told you, don't look at people with colored glasses; you'll misjudge them."

Olivia pursed her lips, saying nothing, but inwardly she already felt that Dicky was utterly low-class.

When it came to buying cars, he didn't even dare to brag, how could he compare to Andrew, who was actually driving a luxury car worth nearly a million?

From this moment on, Olivia felt that Andrew wasn't being aloof; for someone so rich who kept a low profile, being a bit aloof was normal.

After physical education class started, Andrew became the focus of the sports field, and the number of gazes directed at him increased significantly.

During free activity time, Olivia proactively walked over to Andrew and handed him a bottle of water, "Andrew, the weather is quite hot, have a drink."

"Forget it, I'm not used to this kind of plebeian beverage."

"Oh... okay then." Olivia felt a bit embarrassed, but she wasn't angry like before; instead, she left with a trace of awkwardness.

As soon as she left, Ethan leaned over and said excitedly, "Damn, Andy, I really didn't expect you could pretend so well! Only drinking Baishui Mountain, you're absolutely radiating prestige."

"Low profile, low profile."

Andrew raised an eyebrow and said to Ethan, "I've helped you show off enough. How do you plan to repay me?"

"Uh... how about I treat you to a meal?"

"Forget it. Knowing how stingy you are, you'll at best treat me to some street food stall."

Andrew waved his hand and then said, "How about this: consider it a debt for now. I'll ask you to help me with a few things later."

"Deal."

Ethan agreed without thinking much, figuring Andrew wouldn't ask him to do anything too outrageous.

"By the way, I remember this car belongs to Scarlett, right? How did it end up with you?"

"Uh... this..."

Andrew didn't know how to cover it up for a moment. He could easily fool others, but Ethan recognized the car, so he couldn't just make something up.

Seeing Andrew stammering and unable to speak, Ethan looked around, confirmed no one was eavesdropping, and leaned close to Andrew's ear to whisper, "Tell me honestly, you haven't actually gotten involved with Professor Scarlett, have you?"

Actually, Ethan had already noticed. Scarlett's gaze towards others was still cold and indifferent.

But the look she gave Andrew was different; her usually calm eyes held tenderness.

Faced with Ethan's repeated questioning, Andrew knew he could hide it for a while, but not forever; the truth would eventually come out. And he was just going to show off, like giving a vibe, 'That was easy.'

But then he remembered Scarlett's warning, and his ego which just started bloating, quickly defused, "We are innocent."

"What do you mean, we are innocent? Are you two really about to start dating?"

Although Ethan had long harbored suspicions, hearing it directly from Andrew's mouth still shocked him so much his pupils contracted.

"Calm down, calm down. I said we are innocent, we are not dating." Andrew reached out and closed Ethan's mouth, which was wide enough to swallow an ostrich egg.

After all, if he said something and Scarlett found out, then he should start gathering money for his funeral. Just last night, while enjoying a couple exercises with her, slapped her ass.

The result was, she changed position and started riding him, while continuously slapped him. For him, it doesn't look like he was dominating her, instead he was getting dominated.

So, still he knew, till she didn't approve, he can't reveal anything.

So, he turned to the topic, "Actually, Professor Scarlett is really great, and she's beautiful too. But I prefer Lucy. But maybe I can also try to pursue Professor Scarlett."

Since he also saw Lucy, defending him many places, he felt she was not a bad girl like her friend Olivia. But when it came to Scarlett and Lucy, he only preferred Scarlett. Why? Because she is already his girlfriend. But there is another most important reason.

He didn't dare to date another girl when having Scarlett. As he thought currently, but what happened in the future, he couldn't say.

"So, you really plan to pursue Professor Scarlett?"

"What's wrong with that?"

"I didn't say anything was wrong."

If it were anyone else pursuing Scarlett, Ethan wouldn't even bother to mock them, but he had no doubt about Andrew pursuing her; he just remembered what someone had said at the beginning of the semester.

"But didn't you say at the start of the semester that you wouldn't even date a dog?"

"Woof."

After physical education class ended, Andrew walked alone toward Scarlett's office.

When he reached the stairwell, he bumped right into Suzanne, who was coming downstairs.

"Teacher Suzanne, I'm sorry."

"It's fine, it's fine, I was rushing too much."

Andrew helped up Suzanne, who was dazed from the collision, and apologized while picking up the car keys that had fallen to the ground.

Suzanne seemed to be in a hurry for something, grabbed her books, and left immediately.

Halfway down the path, she suddenly came to her senses, "Wait a minute? Did Andrew just have Sister Scar's car keys?"

Suzanne blinked her eyes, recalling the men's slippers in Scarlett's room a few days ago, and froze on the spot.

"No way!!!"

On the other side, Andrew walked into the office and returned the car keys to Scarlett.

Scarlett, however, didn't put the keys away but propped her head up with one hand and looked at Andrew, "The car keys can stay with you now."

"Why?" Andrew was completely baffled.

Scarlett showed Andrew her phone; the news that Andrew was a rich young master driving a luxury car was already known by almost half the school.

"Since it's already spread, if people find out the car isn't yours, won't you lose a lot of face? So, I'll just let you use it. We usually go out together anyway."

And he was her boyfriend, so how can he let him lose his face? Also, if people found he was using Scarlett's car, they started making assumptions. She can't say about others, but Suzanne's dog nose must start smelling and found out about her and Andrew.

"Oh, thank you, Scarlett."

Andrew thanked her verbally, but inwardly he felt like he had been tricked, "Why do I feel like I've become Scarlett's driver?"

Just as he was thinking, Scarlett suddenly interrupted Andrew's thoughts, "The National Day holiday is coming soon. Where are you planning to go? If you're going home, you need to buy your train ticket soon, or you won't be able to get one."

"Probably home?"

Andrew didn't feel like traveling; he would most likely go home, "What about you?"

"I should probably go back for a trip as well. And since, if you can consider, come with me."

Saying this, Scarlett's expression couldn't help but dim slightly. She didn't like the atmosphere at home, but she wanted Andrew to go with her, so she just shut up the mouth of her parents.

"I will think about it," Andrew replied, since he can't decide it immediately, spending time with Scarlett was another thing, but going home was another thing.

"Okay, you go play with your friends for a while. I still have to go teach other classes. We'll go back together after class. And then you can reply to it."

"Okay."

Andrew and Scarlett left the office together.

After the two separated, Andrew looked in the direction Scarlett left from, feeling somewhat worried.
