Damien remembers that the Ironman 3 plot is currently taking place as well and that that in Ironman 3 the main antagonist Aldrich Killian and Maya Hansen created the Extremis Virus that rewrites the human body's genetics and operating system causing everyone who is compatible with the virus to gain power beyond even Captain America along with an extreme regenerative ability that is able to regrow limbs and heat-generation capable of melting steel.
"After I deal with Abomination and General Ross I'll have to go pay Aldrich a visit and get the virus from him."
Damien then sets the unconscious Betty into one of the nearby chairs. He then turns to Dr. Sterns standing off to the side while looking at Bruce with a look of reverence.
"Sterns, collect at least one bag of each of the different blood samples of Bruce that you synthesized and put them somewhere safe. I don't want all of Bruce's blood to get destroyed if something happens, after all now that Bruce has been infected his blood cells will be different and I don't want to lose out on anything."
As Dr. Sterns does as he's told and collects the blood samples and puts them in a safe place, Damien watches over Bruce's corpse while waiting for him to fully turn. Like that time quickly passes and at the 10 minute mark a change starts to occur with Bruce's corpse.
His body starts to rapidly generate gamma radiation which causes his body to start giving off a faint green vapor. His body then starts to expand while slowly turning green. In a matter of a few seconds he goes from being 6 ft all the way to 10 ft tall. However he doesn't stop growing and instead continues growing bigger and bigger and only slows down and stops once he hits 15 ft tall.
"Well, it seems the virus made his cells more absorbent of gamma radiation which is why his size increased by 5 feet. This should also increase his all around attributes significantly as well." Damien then watches as Bruce's body begins to revert back to his base human form before Bruce opens his eyes and seeing Damien he immediately gets off the medical chair and kneels in front of him.
"Progenitor, thank you for allowing me the chance to become something greater than humanity could have ever become and showing me the flaws in my logic of trying to get rid of the Hulk." Bruce speaks in a tone of reverence as he gazes up at Damien as if he were a god.
"Stand up and put a shirt on, you still have an act to put on for General Ross and Emil Blonsky." Damien says dismissively with a wave of his hand.
Damien then takes one of Bruce's synthesized blood samples with the highest concentration and leaves the building and goes into the sewer system to hide out with Rotbone(Zombie Mutant name). This way he can avoid any complications that may arise if they manage to find him inside the lab. Damien looks at the blood sample in his hand.
"I wonder if I can get a Hulk transformation unique to myself? Even though I have Progenitors Authority, all that does is change the genetic makeup within my body into a structure similar to the holder of the power which means I'll just transform into the green giant and there won't be anything different between us." As Damien was debating on if he should do a few experiments using Bruce's blood and a few of his own tissue samples his enhanced hearing picks up on movement and of General Ross giving orders through radios from above him.
"Right on schedule. Now I just need to wait for Abomination to be born." Damien then considers how he should handle Abomination.
"I could either have Hulk kill him, after all without how strong he is now he will be able to easily stomp Abomination even in his base form. On the other hand I myself could fight him instead under the guise of Hulk by using Progenitors Authority." Damien ultimately goes with the second option as he wants to test his ability to see if there's any limitations to it while also having some fun while effortlessly demolishing the cocky Abomination.
Damien watches through the eyes of Dr. Sterns and Bruce as they "argue" over destroying all of the synthesized blood as a now awake Betty watches them, when suddenly a tranquilizer dart shoots through the window and into Bruce's back. Emil then comes running in and throws Betty into one of the glass blood storage containers.
(Poor Betty, twice in less than 30 minutes. Who would do such a cruel thing?) (＾ω＾).
Emil then grabs Bruce and tries to get Hulk to come out, and when that doesn't work he backhands him in the face, "knocking him out". Ross then places both Bruce and Betty into his helicopter and starts flying away.
Not long after they leave Emil has Dr. Sterns inject Bruce's blood into him that unknown to him contains the concentrated zombie virus. After turning into Abomination he slaps Dr. Sterns to the ground causing Bruce's blood to drip onto the open wound on his head causing his head to start swelling and granting him the world's largest forehead.
Abomination then starts wreaking havoc through the streets of Harlem. This causes General Ross to turn the helicopter back around and head back to Harlem to get a visual on the new monster.
"We're turning around. Why are we turning around?" Feeling the helicopter turn around Bruce can instantly tell that something is wrong.
Going up to the front of the helicopter there's a small TV that shows the recording from a soldier's helmet and in the recording Abomination is wreaking havoc.
"I have to go down there and stop that thing before it causes any more havoc. Open up the rear ramp, I'm jumping out." Bruce says as he walks towards the back of the helicopter towards the open ramp.
"But Bruce, you don't even know if you can transform into the Hulk anymore!" Betty says worriedly as she holds his hands.
"I have to try." With those parting words Bruce jumps off the plane.
However, as Bruce is falling he doesn't transform and hits the street below creating a giant crater. The impact causes him to transform but instead of digging himself out of the rubble he digs deeper until he enters the sewer, after which he transforms back into Bruce and looks at Damien standing next to him.
"I leave Abomination to you Progenitor." Bruce says as he walks towards Rotbone.
"Then let the fun begin." Damien begins to grow bigger as he takes on the appearance of Hulk.
