Chapter 15 - Night

After taking his profit, Liam continued observing the Euro, wanting to see if there would be another major movement—whether up or down.

Unfortunately, there wasn't anything worth acting on. It only moved around 0.01%, far too small for him to open a position.

He didn't forget to monitor meme coins either, but so far, none of the newly released ones were expected to surpass a 1 million market cap.

He shook his head, changed into better clothes, and stepped out of his room.

His mother, who was in the living room, looked slightly surprised to see him dressed neatly at night.

"Mom, I'm heading out for a bit. I have something to take care of," he said, unable to be honest.

Hearing that, Diana simply smiled faintly and nodded.

She had her suspicions, but since Liam was too embarrassed to say it, she wouldn't bring it up either.

Of course, she wouldn't stop him from enjoying himself a little as a young man.

Liam got into his car and drove slowly. After passing two houses, he stopped.

(I'm in front!) he texted Luna, a faint smile forming on his lips.

They had only been close as children and drifted apart as they grew older. He had never imagined he would one day take her out—though he couldn't deny he had always been attracted to her.

But today, she was the one who wanted this.

Liam didn't even have to wait a minute.

The door opened, revealing Luna.

She wore her usual short pants, paired with a black leather jacket, her red hair tied in a ponytail.

She walked quickly toward the car, opened the passenger door, and got in without hesitation, ignoring the looks from passersby.

"Oh, this is so comfortable," she said after sitting down.

Liam pressed the gas pedal, and the car shot forward like a bullet.

"Where are we going?" he asked.

He didn't have the habit of going out at night, so he felt a bit unsure.

"Entertainment places might be too noisy for you. How about a bar?" she suggested.

"A bar…" Liam nodded.

"There's a good one on this street," Luna said, pointing at a location on the car's display.

Liam knew that street—it was filled with bars and nightlife spots.

As soon as he entered the street, he saw many women dressed openly, casually standing along the sidewalks.

Not just Western women, but East Asian and Southeast Asian women as well.

There were plenty of them, creating a diverse atmosphere.

"That one!" Luna pointed toward a bar with a fully open front.

It was spacious. Liam could see many tables surrounded by sofas, already quite crowded even though it wasn't that late yet.

The concept felt more like a café, but since it served beer and wine, it wasn't exactly a place for quiet relaxation—it was meant for casual enjoyment.

Of course, some people were playing games—but those were online gambling games, like slots or poker. Others were trading.

Liam and Luna got out of the car together.

She immediately walked up to him and took his hand.

"Let's go," she said softly.

They picked a table. As soon as they sat down, Luna removed her black jacket, leaving only her tight white tank top.

She was still more beautiful than most women there—naturally drawing attention, especially dressed like that.

When Liam saw the waiter approaching their table, he was slightly surprised.

The man was actually a student from his class, though he couldn't remember his name.

Of course, the waiter was even more surprised to see Liam with one of the most beautiful girls in their university.

Not just beautiful—Luna was also an outstanding student.

In fact, she had a scholarship and didn't have to pay tuition like Liam.

"Bring us your best wine—two bottles," Luna ordered without even looking at the menu.

She didn't hesitate to pick the best, no matter the price.

After all, she knew about Liam's profits today.

Poppon had truly reached an 11 million market cap, and Liam had entered at 50,000 with 1,000 dollars.

Luna didn't believe that was his only source of profit today—there had to be more she didn't know.

The waiter nodded professionally and displayed a QR code for the bill on his phone.

Liam scanned it immediately.

The total was only 1,000 dollars—not as expensive as he had expected.

Perhaps this bar catered more to younger people. Even the "best" options here might not compare to those in elite bars.

Seeing Liam pay so casually, the waiter began to believe the rumors about his massive profits.

Otherwise, there was no way he could bring someone like Luna here.

"Please wait a moment," the waiter said after the payment was completed.

From the beginning, Luna had been sitting right next to him. When Liam opened his DEX app, she leaned in even closer, clearly wanting to see what he would buy next so she could follow.

She still had 2,000 dollars in her wallet—money she hadn't withdrawn yet.

She wouldn't hesitate to use all of it to invest again.

"Liam, how do you predict the prices of these meme coins?" Luna asked, full of curiosity.

From what she saw, Liam only glanced at the chart briefly—without any deep analysis.

She was certain it couldn't be that simple.

"What if I say it's just luck?" Liam replied.

And in truth, it really was luck—he was lucky to have the System.

"Then your luck is unbelievably good…" Luna said.

"That's why I don't recommend you keep following me. You might end up losing your money."

"If you're not afraid, why should I be?" Luna chuckled, then suddenly took his hand and deliberately placed it on her thigh.

"You're quite bold," Liam said, but he didn't pull his hand away—it felt too comfortable.

"Don't you like it?" she replied calmly.

"No one would expect you to be like this. Back in the neighborhood, you were so cold."

"Oh, come on, don't say that. I'm just a normal girl who wants to have a youth full of beautiful memories. You know… maybe someday I'll be forced to work day and night making medicine."

Just as she said that, the waiter returned with two bottles of wine, a bowl of ice, two glasses filled with ice, and two plates of fries coated in reddish seasoning.

He placed them on the table, gesturing for them to enjoy, before leaving.
