Chapter 8 - Physique Power Cheat

Liam returned to the futures market, merely observing, but he felt somewhat dissatisfied.

There were no coins showing drastic movement in the next five minutes.

On average, they were only moving around 0.30% to 0.70%. That was too little for him.

'Looks like I should try Forex,' he thought.

This was the most dangerous trading market—but also the most profitable if done right.

With leverage of 1000 to 3000, even a 0.10% movement could generate massive profit.

Of course, the risks were just as great.

That was why a large free margin was necessary as support.

Liam immediately switched to a Forex application that offered high leverage and was also trustworthy.

He didn't have an account yet, so he had to register first.

After that, he deposited a fairly large amount—100,000 dollars.

He didn't jump in right away, instead taking time to understand the features of the app, which were quite simple—even simpler than the futures market.

Here, the volume was truly enormous, so even 100,000 dollars was considered small.

Liam watched the prices.

He saw that gold would rise the most within the next five minutes—but even then, it was only 0.08%.

'It won't drop for now, right?' he wondered.

After thinking for a moment, he chose 3000x leverage, but only used 10,000 dollars as margin for a buy position.

With 90,000 dollars as free margin, getting liquidated was almost impossible.

If that happened, he might as well smash his phone.

He waited calmly, since he had already set an automatic take profit.

His margin began fluctuating. Every movement was a rise and fall of up to 50%, enough to make his heart race, but it wasn't a big problem.

Passing the fourth minute since he opened the position, the price began rising without dropping again.

Liam smiled faintly.

100%.

150%.

200%.

His 10,000 dollars had turned into 30,000.

At its peak, it reached 240%—34,000 dollars.

His position closed automatically.

"Oh… it's going up again…"

He saw that five minutes later, gold would rise again, even reaching 0.10%.

Without hesitation, he opened another buy position with 10,000 dollars.

If he had 1 million dollars, there would be no issue using 100,000.

But for now, he chose to be patient.

After all, if this continued every five minutes, reaching 1 million dollars was only a matter of time.

Now, five minutes no longer felt long to him, as he had grown accustomed to making profits.

This time, the profit was 300%.

10,000 dollars became 40,000.

Combined with the previous one, he had made a total profit of 54,000 dollars.

His gaze shifted to the Euro when he saw that it would drop by 0.10%.

He opened a sell position on the Euro.

This time, however, it wasn't 10,000 dollars—but 20,000.

He wanted a profit of 60,000 dollars.

The Euro's price began dropping right after he opened the position, and quite quickly at that.

Liam didn't even have to wait the full five minutes before his position closed automatically after reaching his take profit.

After that, the price remained stable until the fifth minute.

Unfortunately, movements of up to 0.10% only happened those two times.

The rest were smaller, but they still generated profit for Liam.

Two hours later, his money had grown to over 500,000 dollars.

A 100% win rate.

He wondered if the app's administrators would suspect him of cheating, but all his transactions were normal.

He was simply always correct.

Liam began to feel sleepy. Earlier in the day, he had been fully alert the entire time.

He decided to stop and go to sleep, of course withdrawing his funds from the app first.

Even though the app was trustworthy, he would only keep money there while trading.

Before sleeping, he didn't forget to check the prices of Penguin and Poppon.

The former had risen further, but Poppon remained around a 100,000 dollar market cap.

Liam thought the real movement might happen tomorrow.

He fell asleep easily, though he woke up briefly every two or three hours.

It was impossible not to have disturbed sleep with his current state of mind.

But even when he woke up, he forced himself to go back to sleep, not checking his phone at all.

The next morning, when he opened his eyes, he was stunned.

DING!

(You have obtained Physique Power Cheat; a cheat that increases your physical strength when you are near people who are training physically. The more people training around you, the greater the increase!)

(Physique Power: 0.078)

(Notification: when your Physique Power reaches 1, it will be equivalent to the peak physical condition of a normal human!)

"There's something like this too…" Liam was extremely surprised.

(Physique Power: 0.0780001) +0.0000001

(Physique Power: 0.0780003) +0.0000002

The sudden change in data made him even more shocked.

"Is it because of my mom?"

He stood up, walked to the door, and peeked through the small gap, only to see his mother doing light exercise, lifting dumbbells that weighed only around 200 grams.

That was what the doctor had recommended, so she did it every morning, even though it didn't seem to significantly improve her condition.

Liam believed only expensive supplements would be effective.

'What if I go to a gym?'

He wondered.

If that was the case, the increase might be significant.

He had never been to a gym before, but he decided he would look for one today.

"Oh…"

When he checked his phone, he finally smiled.

His Penguin coins had all been sold.

The price had reached his target.

The ATH today was a 17 million dollar market cap, and he had gained around 155,000 dollars including his initial capital—reduced slightly due to slippage.

Of course, the price had dropped again from that ATH, but it was still high, above 13 million market cap and stable there.

Liam couldn't help but wonder whether this coin actually had strong potential in the coming days.

As for Poppon, it hadn't been sold yet, but its price had already risen significantly.

Its market cap had reached 2 million dollars.

With 2% of the supply, his position was now worth 40,000 dollars—a 40x increase.

Even Luna's 50 dollars had turned into 2,000 at this point.

Just as he thought about her, a message from her appeared on Instagram.

(Liam, hahaha, I love you!)

The message was accompanied by a screenshot of her wallet.

(Poppon = 2000 dollars)

(Penguin = 320 dollars)

(By the way, will Penguin still go up?) she asked, but didn't ask about Poppon since she had seen Liam set a target of 11 million market cap.

(I already sold it!) Liam replied.

(Really? I'll sell it now too… hahaha, thank you, I've never made this much profit before.)

(Is saying thank you the only way you're thanking me?) Liam felt an itch in his fingers and ended up typing that.

(Of course not, so what do you want? Do you want me to come to your house? Or will you come to mine? Coincidentally, my parents are out.)

Liam took a deep breath when he read that.

He had only been joking—but this woman said it so easily, making his thoughts spiral.
