The door creaked open as he pushed it.

Dust, wood… and something that felt like the past.
For a moment, he just stood there.
Then—
His phone rang.
Mr. Lee.
"Sir Ronnie… you went even after I told you not to."
Ronnie exhaled softly.
"Sorry… I couldn't stay there."
"I expected that," Mr. Lee said calmly.
"I've already taken care of your college arrangements. You can attend from tomorrow."
Ronnie's brows furrowed.
"You knew I'd come here…?
But you said Dad ordered me to stay—"
A quiet chuckle interrupted him.
"Of course he did.
But I also knew… you wouldn't listen."
Silence.
Then—
"And your little escape?" Mr. Lee continued.
"You think I didn't notice?"
Ronnie's grip tightened on the phone.
"I allowed your friend to climb that wall," he added.
"You two are not as clever as you believe."
Ronnie rubbed his forehead.
"…Idiot."
Mr. Lee's voice softened—but turned serious.
"I'll be there soon.
But until then…"
A brief pause.
"Don't trust anyone there."
The call ended.
Ronnie slowly lowered his phone.
Those words echoed in his mind.

By evening, he stepped outside.
And stopped.
The walls around him—
Defaced.
Fresh paint.
Harsh words.
"NEW VILLAIN ARISE"
"CAUTION"
His chest tightened painfully.
But his expression didn't change.
He simply walked past it.
Later that night—
The television flickered to life.
A news channel.
His face filled the screen.
And beside it—
William.
"NEW HERO vs NEW VILLAIN"
Ronnie stared at it for a long second.
Then quietly turned it off.
Silence filled the room again.
That night—
He returned to the grave.
Trash scattered everywhere.
Just like before.
As if nothing had changed.
As if yesterday meant nothing.
Ronnie sighed and crouched down.
He began cleaning.
Again.
Footsteps approached.
"You're here already…"
Ronnie didn't look up.

Ronnie stepped into college.
Hood pulled low.
Eyes down.

William.
Standing there.
Like nothing had happened.
Ronnie walked up to him.
Tapped his shoulder.
William turned slowly.
Their eyes met.
A smirk appeared on his face.
"Look who's here…"
A pause.
Then louder—
So everyone could hear—
"The villain's son."
Ronnie froze.
His mind went blank.
Yesterday—
That same person stood beside him.
Helped him.
Cleaned with him.
Today—
He stood against him.
As if it meant nothing.
As if it never happened.
Ronnie couldn't understand.
Couldn't process it.
