I teleported home. About 10 minutes later, I received a text from Yasaka. It said she was working on getting a location in Kyoto for me to move the recently acquired house. Damn, she works fast. I then received a text from my mother. It was just a picture of her being smug with a short message that said "Yasaka huh, nice." That was it. Uncle Zeo wasn't kidding when he said my mother was my father's problem.
I walked into the living room Kuroka was lying on the couch playing video games. She is like her sister in that regard, I guess. Yomihana had gone to her room the moment we got back.
"Kuroka, where is Aina?"
"Ah? Aina went outside, nya. Said she wanted to practice with Annihilation Maker, nya."
"Makes sense."
I was about to leave when a magic circle with my family's crest flared into existence. I knew it wasn't Mom, she wouldn't have texted me if she was coming. Dad is perpetually busy, so no hes impossible, so that left one person.
"Oh fuck…"

I didn't answer. Aina and Yomihana ran into the room, detecting the frankly absurd levels of magic used. Light flared, and from the circle emerged three women. Two people I was related to, one of whom I had not met. The other, I had only heard about. As Kalana Flauros, Lira Marchosias, and Runeas Gremory stepped into the room. I can tell that Zekram either is or will have an aneurysm about this. (Appearance reference for Kalana and Lira for those who have not read the auxiliary. Kalana looks like Esdeath from Akame ga Kill. And Lira looks like Lapland from Arknights. If you don't know Runeas, she looks like Bratty twin tail shortstack Rias in appearance she unlike the other two, is canon.)
"Big Sis Kalana!!!"
Aina suddenly tackled our ancestor. Secret rule of the Flauros family: you must always call Kalana Flauros Big Sis in her presence. Especially on the rare and dangerous occasion, she is sober.
"Oh Aina good to see you! Bag your brother yet?"
Yep, that's my ancestor. I noticed Lady Lira has engaged in a staring contest with Yomihana. Runeas was staring at all the new things around her. She tends to sleep for decades at a time, at a minimum. While Kuroka was doing her best to go unnoticed. Not surprising Runeas and Lira are at least mid Maou-class, but more likely were high Maou-class. But Kalana is a whole different beast. She is a Trancendent-class Super devil. It's why no one tries to stop any of her nonsense. (Despite what most fanfics say. Super devil is a side designation. It has nothing to do with power level, but more with the abnormality of your power at your level. At least that's what I found after going over the actual canon and asking questions)
I was broken out of my thoughts suddenly, though.
"Nae! I have yet to be greeted!"
Kalana frowned at me.
"Greet-"
I stopped. I felt like if I continued that particular greeting, she'd smack me and a non-lethal hit from a high god-level entity isn't fun. Her worsening glare confirmed it.
*sigh*
"How was China, Big Sis?"
Her glare faded instantly.
"It was fine, the ol'monke was busy having to deal with Indra's drug lord looking ass. Celestial emperor and Yama are fucking lightweights."
"To be fair Kala-Chan, anyone but Shiva and Dionysus are lightweights to you."
Runeas not helping. But from what I've heard, that's your default state. I need to distract her. Hmm, I subtly sent an invite via magic to Rias.
"Nu uh, add Odin, Izanami, Shuten, and Tamamo. Man, I miss the later two. What happened to them? I haven't heard from those girls in a bit."
I was silent. I felt like if i told her that Tamamo was sealed under the killing stone. And Shuten was sealed under one of the three principal clans; there might be hell to pay. Hmm, Suzaku Himejima, I vaguely recalled a person by that name in the info I was given. The current head of the Himejima clan of the 5 principal clans. Maybe I could negotiate for their release. I knew for a fact that Shuten was sealed because of a drunken rampage. And Tamamo had just found out her fiancé had both stood her up at the wedding and was cheating on her the entire time. They had both been in time-out more than enough, even though Tamamo's crash-out was completely valid.
"So what brings you here anc- I mean big sis."
"Oh, that well, I could just tell something interesting would be happening around you. After all, you used my technique to steal the Boosted Gear. Yo, how ya doing, Ddraig?"
[I'd be better if you weren't here.]
"Aw, don't be like that. We had a good time when we drew those dicks on Zeus's face and blamed it on Albion. Hell, Hades laughed his ass off for years until Zeus figured out it was cursed."
[I will not deny… that was fun. But a lot of trouble followed after.]
"Aww, he's a big tsundere."
[I AM NOT!]
"Alright, we've gotten incredibly off topic. I think I get why you're here, big sis. But what about Runeas and Lady Lira?"
Kalana was about to answer when Runeas interrupted. Why are you not here yet, Rias!
"Runey-Chan! I want him to call me Runey-Chan, I'm his ancestor too, Kala-Chan."
"Fine, but why are you also here?"
I wanted to complain. This is why I crave strength above all else. No one bosses you around, no one talks back. A fire burned in my chest. I thought the boosted gear pulsed briefly, but I think I imagined it. I've been content fighting small fry; I need to start training more seriously again. I will surpass you, big sis, and I won't stop when I do.
"OH! Well, I'm here for a similar reason as Kala-Chan, minus the fact that she wants to rain you as well. Li-Chan is here to check out if that girl is hers. I think it's obvious, though. I also plan on staying up for a century or two. Entertainment is so much more advanced than when I was last awake."
Runeas pulled out a phone. I panicked internally, but Ddraig…

90% of today's memes were made by this woman. Now imagine this woman drunk. And by drunk, I mean chaotic drunk. Oh fuck, she's going to crash here, isn't she?
Author's note: could write more, want to write more, but shouldn't overtax arms as is. But yep, ancestors and at least two will be hanging around because chaotic gremlin reasons.
