Hello, so this is just an auxiliary chapter to talk about the families that are extinct in canon, but not in this fic. I will be updating this as I think of things for extinct pillars that aren't extinct here there will be atleast 10 but I'll also include non extinct clans that just didn't show and had no lore. It will also have relevant character names and appearance added as reference if they aren't a common entity.
Flauros
The Flauros family is like most in devil society in how they act. Their bloodline ability is the conceptual mastery of all things technology. As long as it is defined as technology, they have mastery over it. This has led to their strength scaling directly with advances in technology and human development. Their main contracts and businesses in the modern era are various tech companies and technological situations. Yes, this does mean they have been called to perform tech support. Kalana Flauros is the founding ancestor and is a free-spirited, drunken, pervert who hangs out with Odin. However, when sober, she becomes serious. She is incredibly scary. (She looks kind of like Esdeath)(I don't match character personality with appearance if it wasn't obvious. These characters are an approximation of looks.)(father of mc looks like FGO Enkidu with blue hair instead of green.)
Marchosias
The Marchosias family is a strange one. Unlike most Devil houses, they are a complete matriarchy. Male devils are not given the right to inherit the position of family head. They are also a clan of warriors, just like their founding ancestor, Lira Marchosias. They have a few rules of their clan, with most of the punishments being execution or exile. The Devil Council does have a problem with this, but they are too scared of their ancestor to do anything. Their Bloodline ability is space-related. Most do not know its full capabilities, but it is rumored that Lira Marchosias has the power to rend space and still aims higher. (Lira Marchosias looks like Lappland from Arknights.) (Current head looks like a white haired red eyed version of Texas from Arkights she is name Palenia Marchosias her daughter and heir is Quxenté Marchosias whom looks like W from Arknights)
Valefor
The Valefor family is also strange; they have no decorum befitting of their rank. They are crude and think manners are stupid. Their innate bloodline power is called Snatch (think Ban form seven deadly sins). Robin Hood was actually the Valefor ancestor, Robin Valefor, dicking around for fun. The current heir is Nicvel Valefor her sister Phemera Valefor is often mistaken for being older than her. (Robin Valefor looks exactly like Robin Hood from Fate/Grand Order)(heir looks like Mary Reed from Fgo and has a sister who looks like Anne Bonny from the same.)
Gusion
The Gusion family can be summed up with one word. NERDS. The Gusion family's bloodline ability is an abnormally large demonic power reserve. As well as scary levels of control. They are the strongest demonic spell casters below Ajuka Beelzebub. The downside is that their reserves increase more slowly than those of other devils. Basically, they start stronger but grow more slowly. (Gusion Ancestor looks like Murasaki Shikibu from Fate/Grand Order.)(the heir looks like Witch from goblin slayer)
Morax
The Morax Family's abilities are related to Geomancy and alchemy. Specifically, the ability to petrify their enemies and create golems. Because of this, they invest heavily in mines and foundries for materials for golems. Unlike the golems, the Flauros family can create. The Morax family's Golems possess innate intelligence and do not require programming. Zyglen Morax is the founder. (Honestly just Zhong Li is ancestor in appearance he's morax in genshin and fits the vibe)
Seere
The Seere are renown for their command over ice and beauty. They can move ice as if it was an extension of them selves. This is different than the Sitris' high affinity for water magic. They are exceptionally pretty. But also the most kind devils. They were one of them main forces for reformation during the civil war. If a devil could be a saint it would be from this clan. The Founder was Frotia Seere a woman who always helped others and never asked for anything in return she died in the civil war. The Seere family has an alternate method to the contract system as it goes against there beliefs to help without expecting something in return. Their family is not poor however as they run many non profit organizations in devil society and assist with the Balam clan's psychological studies. Current head Glacius Seere (looks like a more mature Eula from genshin. Ps yea this is hard because I used Esdeath for flauros) current heir Vanira Seere (looks like from Gladiia from Arknights)
Balam
Is a rare founded by Alanor Balam the Balam families specializes in Devil mind magic and hypnosis. While all devils can do this the Balam family is exceptionally skilled. (Think Kyoka Suigetsu type stuff in combat.) they however have shifted to use their skills to help half devils and reincarnated devils via therapy. Alanor Balam is still around and functioning member of society like Zekram and he has never actually retired from his position, but his son, Merius Balam is considered the family head. (Alanor looks like undertaker from black butler, and Merius looks like Sebastian from the same)
