I didn't have the location of the new residence yet. So because of that I had to teleport into Rias's ORC. Unfortunately they were mid meeting.
"NEA?!"
Rias was startled by my sudden intrusion.
"Oh? I didn't know you'd be having a meeting at this time."
I was blatantly unapologetic in my tone.
"Well your new to. Wait? Thats not the point! Who are these two!?"
Yomihana was about to answer but I stopped her.
"This is my new knight Yomihana Marchosias and her mother. A witch named Kanae Kamoto. They were living one town over in church territory. Feel free to greet my cousin, Rias Gremory, you two."
Yomihana just gave a polite nod.
"A pleasure to meet the heir to the Gremory family."
Kanae seems to have some respect for devils. But it doesn't seem to be because of strength. I'll figure it out later. Rias seemed to be preening like peacock because of the acknowledgement from Kanae.
*ehem*
"Anyway Nae what did you mean Yomihana Marchosias? I mean she has all the physical indicators of being a member, but there is no one from that family with that name from what I remember. You are correct. Yomihana is a half devil and a bastard. Her father is the brother of the current head of the Marchosias."
Rias's eyes widens at what I was implying. Her peerage members, and Kuroka who I just noticed was there, didn't react as they had little context. Outside of pure bloods or those constantly involved in devil politics. You can't blame someone for not knowing how the Marchosias family runs.
"Yes, it's as your thinking Rias. He has broken his families taboo for some reason. He will be punished at some point. But for now I'd like to ask for you to find a residence for these two. After all you and Sitri are monitoring the territory. Plus you know I hate Sitri so I'd prefer to ask you anyways."
Rias was about to answer when Yomihana spoke up.
"Lord Nae please allow me to stay with you. A sword should not be far from its master."
Her mother didn't react so I'm guessing she either knew or expected this.
"Please find residence for her mother then."
Yomihana smiled. But you wouldn't notice unless you looked closely.
"Alright I'll do something about it. But in exchange Nae. Please help me train my peerage."
I internally sighed because this meant one of three things but all of them were good for me in the end.
"Fine we have an even number of peerage members. I assume Kuroka is going to teach Koneko to properly use senjutsu and touki. Aina can show a few things to Akeno that are magic related, but getting her father would give the most help. Though I know that's not a viable choice. I will teach you some techniques and methods for demonic power control and some utility spells. And Yomihana is the perfect teacher for your knight because she has the same sacred gear."
That last part startled both Kiba and Rias. Sword birth was no unique sacred gear but it was incredibly rare. Hmm I'm just realizing I forgot to ask if Yomihana inherited the Marchosias Space manipulating abilities. It's always a mixed bag with half devils. Sometimes they get their bloodline sometimes they don't.
Heck it's a problem when a pure blood doesn't inherit the power for the clan they represent. Sairorg is a perfect example. Instead of the Bael clan's power of destruction he inherited the Vapula Clan's lion taming ability from his mother.
Sometimes people end up with both clan traits. Aina and I didn't but Rias did hilariously. Despite what many believe the Gremory clan trait isn't luck or excessive magic. It's the ability to tame camels. Which is incredibly funny given Rias is scared of camels.
"I feel like your thinking something rude."
She seemed to have recovered while I was thinking. Also women's intuition is scary.
"No, its nothing. I just realized I never asked if my new knight has the inherited the Marchosias families space manipulation."
Rias was looking at me with doubt. Until Yomihana came in with the save.
"Yes I have inherited it, but I can't make proper use of it the best I can do is use it as a form of telekinesis."
"Well that's understandable. You were raised with no contact from your devil family."
She noded.
Hmm I have potentially terrible idea. But that's for later. Gonna have to call Ancestor Kalana.
"Anyway let's get to training I'll call Aina. she should be done moving our stuff by now. She can come grab your Yomihana's stuff and come back quickly. Are you okay with staying here until Rias gets you a dwelling Kanae?"
"I'm fine with that."
"Alright I'm going to call Aina. We will meet you behind the the building for training."
After calling Aina whom grabbed Yomi Hana's luggage and quickly dropped it off. As well as making a quick call to a friend. We headed behind the old school building the ORC used.
Rias entire peerage minus gasper, whom seems to have had his internet privileges taken away. The G.D.T bot hadn't pinged me all day.
"Alright listen up weakling! Your king asked me to train you and her."
They frowned but didn't speak up
"The reason I'm even helping is because I also hate her fiancé. Riser is a horny piece of shit who acts like Rias is marrying into his inferior Marquis house. As someone's from a house of equal rank to Rias's, on top of her being my cousin, his insolent aditude is unacceptable."
I gave them a moment to digest my words.
"However, as I said you all are weak. To put in game terms your all too specialized in your builds and not strong enough to back it up. So I called someone both Rias and I are familiar with to be a special guest teacher."
I cast the stars devil communication spell. My guest almost routinely breaks his phone by accident. He has a special monthly subscription to get replacement phones for no extra cost."
"Sairorg you can come show now."
Shortly after I finished contacting my special guest a teleportation circle appeared. Stepping out from it was Rias's other cousin, and my friend, Saiorg and his Queen Kuisha.
"Nae! Thanks for inviting me."
He put out his hand for handshake. I grabbed it firmly. (Insert manly handshake gif)
"Thank you for coming Sairorg. Have you gotten stronger again? I'm gonna have to step up my training."
"Haha, hey Rias good see you."
"Sai! Good to see you."
"Don't get too happy Saiorgs here to observe and come up with a training regiment for fitness. He understands that better than me admittedly."
"Yeah well, I had to make up for not having demonic power and the not having the power of destruction."
Author's note: No, neither the camel nor the lion thing is a joke. This is a canon thing revealed much later. I learned this from a person named maple on discord. who has read basically all the canon dxd content. Hilariously there are ultimate class Camels on the farm Runeas set up for her clan because she loves camels. All hail short stack Gremory and her mighty camel. Damned (blessed) be her name.
