The next day I went to the nearby town called Oyasa. Aina elected to stay behind to prevent Rias or Sona from following out of curiosity. As well as moving our stuff into our new home residence. Don't want them to snipe a potential peerage member. Kuroka was still reconnecting with Koneko so I didn't bother her either.
"Hmm this town is smaller than I thought. Also seems to have a decent church presence. That's surprising given a half devil lives here."
[They are watching us.]
"Let them. If they're smart the will notice I'm ultimate class and not start shit. The only think more than weaklings is stupid weaklings."
I made my wade towards the address I was given. I ended up at a Shinto shrine.
"Hm I was expecting a house or kendo dojo not a shrine but it wasn't totally out of question."
[Shrine maidens can be terrifying. Reminds me of one of my hosts who's childhood friend was a shrine maiden. She was scary when mad. Threatened to castrate him more than a handful of times. I honestly liked her, more than my host at the time, her name was Shouko. He wasn't as bad as Issei but he was easily distracted by beauty.]
"Well at least he was only distracted."
[Actually it's how he died because Albion's host was admittedly a very attractive woman at the time. Albion's host didn't get celebrate long though. Shouko beat her to death bare handed. No clue how she pulled it off through Albion's bullshit dividing but it happened.]
"Sounds like one hell of a ride or die."
[She really was. Although my strongest female host remains my favorite human of the female gender.]
"Huh you'll have tell me about her some time"
"Um excuse me can I help?"
I saw a girl with white hair and red eyes, a tell tale sign of the Marchosias clan. She had an aura of strength about her. I could tell she was easily upper high class near ultimate. She also had the vibe of having killed before. Make sense why the church presence was both high and yet not moving in on her. They tried and learned to not fuck with her.
(For reference of what she looks like look up Altair from Re:Creators not a perfect example though obviously no military uniform. Layers is timeless)
Ultimate classes are rare. someone of my strength is abnormal because devils don't usually train. Aina is upper high-class, Kuroka is low Ultimate-class, and this one seem upper high-class as well.
"Greetings my name is Nae Flauros I am heir to the Flauros clan. I assume you are the one with the username cutewolfgirlswordswoman?"
She didn't visually react.
"Yes that's me."
…
"May I have your real name?"
"My name is Yomihana Marchosias although I usually use my mothers last name instead. I see no reason to use it here."
She was very curt in her answers.
"So what do you want in exchange for joining my peerage. You've probably heard how devils treat their peerage members as slaves. While true for some I'm not one of those. I see you have access to the devil net, which means your mothers not ordinary either, but still human. I'm guessing and principle clans member by your shrine attire or a witch."
"Observant yes my mother is a witch. I just work here part time as volunteer work. And you obviously aren't the bad kind they wouldn't be talking to me and discussing terms."
"That's true, but the question remains. What do you want?"
"I want strength. And I want vengeance."
"I see you've looked up the Marchosias clan they are very open about their clan rules after all."
"I'll make my existence known through you to support my claim. As vouching from a pure blood will help back it up."
"Your cautious that's a good thing. It's true my backing would help. Even if you have the tell tale features of a Marchosias. As a half devil some will deny it. I accept your terms"
"Thank you I'll make him suffer for abandoning me."
Huh I guess the rumor of the Marchosias' genetic hatred of abandonment is true. Good thing I don't abandon what's mine.
"Now let's see how many evil pieces are required to make you mine."
She blushed faintly at that, but over all her face didn't change. I realized I worded that poorly but I didn't correct my self.
"Hmm it seems one regular knight is not enough for you thankfully one of my knights is a mutation piece."
I implanteded one of my two mutantion pieces in her chest. the absurdity of my luck on that is staggering. The other piece is a rook but currently no candidates.
She she immediately kneeled in front of me.
"Yomihana Marchosia pledges her sword to you Lord Flauros."
I waved her of.
"Alright, no need to be too formal just call me Nae."
"Understood Lord Nae."
I felt like that was the best I was getting out of her. So I didn't push the issue.
"Go pack your things. Do you need me to talk to your mother."
"No, as much as she doesn't approve of me getting involved with devil society. She understands she can't keep me caged here."
"Okay summon me with this when your done and I'll come get you."
I wandered around the town.
Chatted to Ddraig about basically nothing. He told me some fun stories about his childhood. His history before his duel with Albion isn't well known.
"Oh fuck!"
[What?]
"I just remembered Lady Tiamat is mad at you… and I'm going to have to deal with that once it gets out I have you."
[…oh… well good luck.]
"It'll be fine. Unlike your previous hosts who either died or were bothered by her. She is a frequent customer of our family. Apparently guarding the familiar forest is incredibly boring. I could probably leverage some extra services in exchange for not messing with me."
[I hope so. Hell hath no fury like a dragoness scorned. I'd honestly hate for you to die. Your one of the more pleasant hosts I've had to be around. You don't just charge in to every issue head first without thinking about everything, from what I've seen so far at least.]
"I like remain cautious. A healthy dose of caution keeps people alive after all."
About and hour later. I was summoned in front of a house. Yomihana was standing there with a suit case. Looking awkward as her mother, a Japanese woman with black hair, was hugging her. She also had a suit case.

"Yes I'm coming too. I'm Kanae Kamoto. I can't well stay here the church presence is too high. Admittedly my daughter was the only thing keeping them from bothering me."
"Fine I don't particularly mind I'll get my cousin to arrange you a new home. We are only going over one town over anyway. Kuoh is actually devil territory."
"It is!?"
"Your a witch and have access to the devil net. How did you not know that?"
"Mom can't use phones or computers. Thankfully she brings in money through selling things like magic medicines and fertility drugs to couples wanting children… they are potent."
Okay good to know. Not going to question that.
"So yes get ready we're teleporting soon."
I snapped my fingers and we disappeared.
Authors notes: so chapter 6 yeah her mom and is a witch and completely inept at electronics. Kinda like Yor with anything other than assassination. Coincidental honesty considering appearances. There's a whole thing about witches being unable to use phones in media so yeah. She won't join the peerage though. One Nae wouldn't because she has low potential. And two she also just doesn't want to.
