Chapter 33 - What come after

I stayed silent as I personally flew Toshinori all the way back to U.A. Nezu already had the equipment to treat him.

Toshinori has tried several times to say something to me, but I block out his voice with the wind while wondering what excuse I'll give to Sasha. After a few minutes, Toshinori realizes I'm not going to answer, so he stops trying. A few minutes later, we finally reach U.A.

Nezu already has a host of medical bots and other tech to heal Toshinori as I go sit in his office. I take out my phone to check if I'd gotten any messages, only to find the screen had been destroyed during the fight.

Setting it on the table with a sigh, I decide to check what the Gacha gave me.

[For getting an HPSC agent assigned to you, 1x Silver Ticket]

[For shocking the entire world with your power, 1x Gold Ticket]

[For getting on the hit list/recruit list of 20 world powers, 1x Gold Ticket]

[For making a lifelong enemy in Tomura Shigaraki, 1x Platinum Ticket]

[For killing the Symbol of Evil, All For One (Weakened), 1x Advantage Legendary Ticket]

Ah. Seems I may have gone overboard. Well, might as well roll them since Nezu is going to be busy taking care of Toshinori for a while. Spin the Silver!

[Spinning, spinning, spinning, done!]

[Douma]

Elite Familiar

Demon Slayer - As one of the Upper Moon demons, it has incredible physical abilities and regeneration, but a severe weakness to light and holy. Douma's Blood Art grants him great cryokinetic abilities.

'Oh, what a fun new place! I can't wait to explore this new world!' I rolled my eyes at his voice before remembering the other Familiar I have yet to use, Aries. I'll definitely have to give her over to Nezu as a teacher later on. Gold time!

[Spinning, spinning, spinning, done!]

[Intermediate Arms Mastery]

Rare Skill

You can handle all conventional weapons, ranging from knives to swords to axes to polearms to guns to bows to even chained weapons and clubs with notable proficiency, enough to match a general practitioner of the weapon and wield them effectively.

Nice! I should either start figuring out how to get a good weapon or make better ones with my flames. Not to mention getting a skill for once is nice!

[Angel Feather Arrows]

Rare Item

Hota - A quiver of infinite arrows fletched with the feathers of angels. These arrows do not slow down from flying and retain their maximum speed when flying until they hit a target.

This could be really useful, actually. I could use these instead of flames, just to try them out, or see if I can just keep piling them up at my feet before turning them into raw materials for something else. I don't think Nezu has that kind of tech yet. Now for the Platinum!

[Master of Arms]

Epic Trait

You are a Master of Arms, being able to wield any weapon you lay your hand on as if you have been wielding it for 10 years. In addition, you can bypass any requirements a weapon might have to wield it, such as being an angel or a chosen hero. In addition, all sentient or conscious weapons adore you, and weapons would love to be wielded by you.

If I already had a buzz from absorbing the Intermediate Arm Mastery, this made it even better. If before I could say I'd trained with various weapons for five years thanks to Arms Mastery, Master of Arms added another 15 years onto that.

This would be the most useful thing by far. I'm very sure that MHA won't be the last world I get sent to by that creepy ROB. If I get dropped into somewhere like Percy Jackson or Demon Slayer, then having Master of Arms will be very useful.

Now for the Advantage Legendary Ticket. The very first one.

[The Trumpet of Apocalypse]

Mythical Item

"Judgement" The Trumpet of the Apocalypse, when blown, summons a [Heavenly Gate(Mythical)] that fuels itself and unleashes a massive army of angels, such as Dominions, Principalities, Thrones, and 4 Seraphim before disappearing. The army summoned by this item will last indefinitely and count as independent entities while still staying under your command. (Can only be used ONCE per world or per century)

DUDE! Already off to a great start! When Tomura finally reaches those stupid levels of power seen at the very end of MHA, this would be so great to have; it's not even funny. Let's see what the other option is before I make my choice.

[Divinity Water & Ice]

Divine Ability

You are a god of water and ice who holds domain over both, with all that entails.

I stared at the options for a very long time.

(IRL too, I had to take a few laps around the house to calm down and think.)

I stared at the options for so long that I fell asleep and woke up in the nurse's office next to Toshinori. Thankfully, Nezu and Recovery Girl had him knocked out asleep, so he wasn't awake to lecture me for killing AFO, not that I regret it anyway.

[Gift from beyond the veil. 1x Random Bronze Ticket] (BBWulf)

Again?! Fine, I won't complain. Spin it.

[Spinning, spinning, spinning, done!]

[Garden of Revelations]

Rare Item

A garden filled with a variety of beautiful flowers has a mystical aura around it. Inside the garden, it is easier to study and learn magic.

Oh, that might be the most useful thing I've gotten so far from the Bronze Tickets.

Now that that's out of my way, I can think some more about my choices. On one hand, The Trumpet of Apocalypse would be very useful as an ultimate move against the Meta Liberation Army, as well as the swarm of Nomu that Tomura would soon command.

On the other hand, divinity over Water and Ice. Just being on an island nation surrounded by WATER makes this so much easier. Imagine if I could intercept Tomura and save Star and Stripe. When Dabi and his family burn a good chunk of a city, I could stop it in a layer of ice so thick that Endeavor couldn't burn through.

I sat there weighing my options for a few more minutes when Nezu walked in, looking very tired, but more awake than I'd ever seen the furry principal. "Ah, you're awake. That's good, we need to talk." I nodded and got up from the cot and followed him.

We ended up in his office, where he showed me the latest news broadcast. There was a very clear divide in public sentiment. About half the people interviewed on the street were happy that someone had finally stepped in to silence a big villain, even if they'd never known he existed. Young people especially kept calling me a hero, though a good portion wished I hadn't been needed in such a fight.

The other side of the coin was much worse. The more tame ones were calling for me to be locked up in Tartarus, never to see the light of day again. Others, likely in bed with the HPSC, were calling for me to be arrested and placed under government supervision.

"I'm guessing you've had plenty of calls from 'concerned' officials in the last day or so?" I said dryly as Nezu nodded his head. "After the show you put on, many have reached out to me to get in contact with you. Some want to offer you jobs, others want to demand that you surrender to the authorities. I've kept them at bay for now, but you have to make a choice soon."

I sat in silence, watching both sides of the coin as people on the internet and public television argued whether I was just another Vigilante, or the next Symbol after All Might. I had made my choice.

"I choose freedom. I won't work with the HPSC more than I have to, much less the other side of what they do. I actually have another power that I've been hiding; it should keep them away for a while."

Nezu's ears perked up at that, and he politely asked for a demonstration. I smiled as a new power surged within me, and I extended my hand towards the U.A swimming pool. Nezu then glued his eyes to his computer as security alarms blared.

The water from the pool had surged up and out; much more water had left the pool than was originally inside, which must have worried him. I kept going, however, as the water rose into the air, gaining more and more volume before shifting forms.

It went from a surging body of water to the streamlined body of a dragon. Even then, it kept growing, getting longer and thicker until it wrapped around the entire U.A. building, its head finally coming to a stop to rest where it could see inside Nezu's office.

Before Nezu could say anything, the dragon suddenly froze, before turning into a frozen sculpture. It remained where it was, but that ice didn't melt in the sun. It remained staring at us for a long moment before returning to the swimming pool, all the excess water evaporating back into the atmosphere from where I'd taken it.

"That was remarkable." Nezu finally said as he glanced at the feed from the swimming pool, steaming, but exactly as I'd left it. I nodded sheepishly as I noticed a new phone on his desk. "Is that for me? I'm sorry for breaking the last one." He waved it off with a smile.

"After showing me that, and for doing what needed to be done, you've more than earned it, Micah." He smiled at me as I felt my heart warm up; this principal was too cute to be real sometimes.

We then continued talking about our plans for the future. Nezu had already scheduled a press conference, one that would focus on me. I told him the basics of what I wanted to say, as well as my plan to stay at U.A for as long as I could to avoid dealing with the HPSC.

Nezu actually agreed to that. He'd been planning to implement student dorms, and now I'd be able to help set them up the way students would like, rather than the pre-set way he was going to make them. He also gave me information on something rather important: my hero license.

"This isn't set in stone just yet, but I may be able to get you your hero license ahead of time. Obviously, the HPSC isn't happy about it, but they are willing to give you a chance if you can prove yourself capable of handling the responsibility."

I shrugged, already knowing a good portion of their tricks. "As long as they don't send Hawks after Sasha, or drag Lady Nagant out of Tartarus to kill me, I don't mind hearing them out." Nezu looked mildly concerned that I knew all that, but didn't press me as we got to the final decision.

"Are you sure that you want to be a teacher here? You would lose a lot of freedom that you would normally have. I treat all my staff well, but I'd rather not stifle the potential of such a capable young man if I can help it."

I nodded, I was sure. "I have nothing left, not really. Back in the U.S., there is no one waiting for me to come back home. Yet here, in a land not my own, I have found friends and people I would call family. I'd be foolish not to do everything I can to help them. I would like to graduate first, though."

Nezu grinned at that, "I'm glad you've got your eye on the prize. That's all I needed to speak with you about today. Be sure to get ready for the conference." I bowed to him before turning to leave, as his voice reached me as I opened the door, "Oh, and be careful around Toshinori and Sasha, they've been looking for you."

I waved to him as the door opened to reveal Sasha. Who looked very, very, very, unhappy.
