Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: The Eye That Feared Back

The void was no longer stable.

It was collapsing and rebuilding at the same time—like reality itself couldn't decide what Karam was anymore.

The "eye" above the darkness pulsed violently.

Each pulse sent waves across existence.

And yet—

Karam stood calmly in front of it.

The bindings he created around the presence tightened.

Not chains of metal.

Not energy.

But rules.

Rewritten rules.

The presence struggled.

For the first time—

It wasn't passive anymore.

"Release… constraint…"

The voice was no longer calm.

It was distorted.

Unstable.

Karam tilted his head slightly.

"Constraint?"

He clenched his fist.

The bindings tightened further.

"You mean control."

The figure behind him took a step back.

"He's rewriting even their authority…"

The eye above reacted instantly.

The entire void darkened.

Pressure dropped.

Then increased.

Then collapsed again.

📊 [HIGHER ORDER RESPONSE]

Existence Stabilization Required

A second presence appeared.

Then a third.

Then more.

Not bodies.

Not forms.

Just awareness.

Watching.

Judging.

Karam felt them instantly.

His expression didn't change.

But his eyes sharpened.

"So there are more of you."

One of the higher beings spoke.

Not through sound—

But through thought.

"Anomaly Karam."

"You are disrupting structural narrative layers."

Karam smiled faintly.

"Narrative layers…"

He looked at the sky.

"So that's what you call reality."

Another presence responded.

"Correction: reality is controlled structure."

Karam stepped forward.

"Then I'll restructure it."

The moment he spoke—

Everything paused.

Not frozen.

Not stopped.

Rewritten.

For a brief second—

The higher beings felt it.

A shift.

A loss of control.

"...He is accessing root influence."

The eye above flickered violently.

And then—

It opened wider.

Something changed.

Karam felt it instantly.

Pressure.

Not external.

Internal.

His body reacted on its own.

His vision blurred.

And then—

Pain.

Deep.

Existential.

"Tch…"

He knelt for the first time in a long while.

But didn't fall.

The figure behind him shouted.

"They're forcing override at origin level!"

Karam gritted his teeth.

"...Good."

He stood back up.

Slowly.

Blood—no.

Not blood.

His existence was flickering.

Parts of him were being erased again.

But this time—

He didn't resist blindly.

He understood.

"So this is your real authority…"

He raised his hand toward the sky.

"Then I'll use mine."

📊 [UNKNOWN CORE RESPONSE]

The system didn't speak.

Because it no longer existed here.

This was deeper.

Older.

The "eye" above finally changed shape.

Not watching anymore.

Reacting.

And then—

It attacked.

Not physically.

Not mentally.

But structurally.

Karam's existence began to fragment again.

But this time—

He didn't panic.

He closed his eyes.

And remembered.

Not past fights.

Not system messages.

Himself.

"I exist…"

His voice echoed.

Low.

Stable.

"Because I decide I exist."

A pulse erupted.

Purple light spread across the void.

Stronger than before.

Not system-based.

Not borrowed.

His own.

The fragmentation stopped.

Then reversed.

Reality around him stabilized.

But differently.

Now it was obeying him.

Not the higher beings.

The eye above went still.

For the first time—

It hesitated.

"...He is resisting origin authority."

Karam opened his eyes.

Now fully glowing.

Not just purple.

But layered.

Multiple depths of light inside them.

"I told you…"

He raised his hand slowly.

"I'm not your anomaly."

"I'm your end condition."

The void shook violently.

Higher beings began to retreat.

Not in fear.

But recalculation.

The figure behind Karam whispered.

"They're… adjusting strategy…"

Karam smiled.

Cold.

Calm.

"Too late."

He clenched his fist.

And the bindings around the higher presence—

Broke.

The eye flickered again.

And this time—

It closed slightly.

Retreating.

Observing differently now.

"...Subject Karam is now classified as unstable origin threat."

Karam lowered his hand.

Breathing steady.

"Good."

He looked up.

"Now we're speaking the same language."
