Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: The One Who Should Not Exist

The void trembled violently.

Not from destruction—

But from resistance.

Karam stood firm.

His hand still raised toward the collapsing presence.

For the first time—

Something above had been stopped.

The massive "eye" in the darkness flickered.

Unstable.

Watching.

"...So you can be touched."

Karam's voice was calm.

But his eyes—

Burning.

The presence in front of him began to reform.

Slowly.

Piece by piece.

Like reality itself was stitching it back together.

The figure behind Karam stepped back further.

"This isn't over…"

The presence spoke again.

But now—

Its voice had changed.

Heavier.

Deeper.

"Anomaly… confirmed."

Karam smiled faintly.

"You're repeating yourself."

A pause.

Then—

"Escalation… authorized."

Everything stopped.

For a single moment—

Time itself froze.

Karam felt it instantly.

His body—

Locked.

His thoughts—

Slowed.

"...So this is your real power."

The presence moved.

Not through space—

But through reality itself.

In the next instant—

It was already in front of him.

Its hand reached forward—

And pierced through Karam's chest.

Silence.

Karam's eyes widened slightly.

No blood.

No pain.

Just… emptiness.

"Existence… denied."

His body began to fade.

Faster this time.

Not just flickering—

Disappearing.

The figure watching clenched his fists.

"...This is bad."

Karam looked down at his fading body.

For a moment—

He said nothing.

Then—

He laughed.

Soft.

Cold.

"You're still doing the same thing."

The presence paused.

"Deleting what doesn't fit your system…"

Karam raised his hand—

Even as it faded.

"But you're making one mistake."

The presence didn't move.

"I'm not part of your system anymore."

A pulse erupted.

From within him.

Not controlled.

Not guided.

Pure.

Reality around Karam began to distort.

But differently this time.

Not breaking.

Reforming.

His fading arm—

Stopped.

Then—

Rebuilt.

Stronger.

The presence stepped back slightly.

For the first time—

It reacted.

"...Impossible."

Karam's eyes glowed brighter.

Cracks of purple light spread further.

"No."

He stepped forward.

"You just don't understand it yet."

The space around them warped.

Fragments of broken reality—

Began to gather.

Forming something new.

Not the system.

Not their control.

His.

The figure watching whispered—

"He's… creating something…"

Karam clenched his fist.

And reality bent with it.

"You control stories…"

He looked directly at the presence.

"Then I'll create my own."

The presence attacked again.

Faster.

Stronger.

But this time—

Karam didn't dodge.

He stopped it.

With one hand.

Shockwaves spread across existence.

The "eye" above flickered violently.

"...Threat level rising."

Karam smiled.

"Now you're noticing."

He stepped forward again.

Each step rewriting the space around him.

"You called me an anomaly…"

"A mistake…"

His voice deepened.

"Then I'll become your worst one."

The presence tried to retreat—

But couldn't.

Karam raised his hand—

And for the first time—

He didn't destroy.

He controlled.

Reality wrapped around the presence.

Binding it.

"Now…"

He looked up.

Directly at the "eye."

"Let's see how you deal with this."

The void shook.

The higher beings—

For the first time—

Were reacting.
