Chapter 728: Shiroyasha's Worries, Transmigrating to Hakoniwa!
"Ren, how are you going to deal with these artificial angels?"
Daedalus hugged Ren's arm enchantingly. Her body pressed softly against him, her scent a mix of sterile laboratory ozone and sweet vanilla.
They stood suspended in the void of Ren's personal Different Space. Below them, the massive, floating continent of the replica Synapse drifted silently.
Ren had stored the entire construct here earlier. The hundreds of artificial angels—Beta types, Delta types, and mass-produced models—remained frozen in stasis on the stone pillars, their variable wings retracted.
They were weapons of mass destruction, programmed to eradicate humanity.
But to Ren, they were something else entirely.
"The artificial angels on it still needed to be dealt with," Ren mused, looking down at the sleeping army.
Of course, he had no intention of killing them.
These were all free, beautiful angel girls. Each one was a masterpiece of bio-engineering. How could he, a man of culture and infinite mana, not accept them? It would be a waste of resources.
"Changing their programmed thoughts was an instant matter," Ren said, tapping his chin. "I could rewrite their cores with a snap of my fingers. Make them loyal maids, perhaps?"
But then he felt Daedalus tighten her grip on his arm. She was looking at the frozen angels with an expression of deep, maternal longing.
He realized that to him, they were collectibles. To her, they were lost children.
"Do you want to modify them?" Ren asked softly, turning to her.
"Can I?!"
Daedalus's eyes lit up instantly. The melancholy vanished, replaced by the burning intensity of a mad scientist given a new playground.
"Of course you can. Synapse and these angels are yours. You designed them, after all. You can come over anytime to conduct modification research. Consider it your personal workshop."
"Yes! I'll go take a look right now!!"
Upon receiving confirmation, Daedalus didn't waste a single second.
With a squeal of delight, she kissed Ren on the cheek and immediately activated the transfer sequence.
Flash!
She teleported directly onto the surface of Synapse to begin her research, likely already planning how to install "Love Modules" into every single unit.
Ren stood alone in the void, watching her figure shrink into the distance. He couldn't help but shake his head and smile wryly.
"She really is a workaholic when it comes to her creations."
Just as he was about to follow her to inspect the facilities together, a notification chime echoed in his mind.
It was a private message from the Chat Group.
[Shiroyasha: Hmph, are you there?]
Ren raised an eyebrow. The White Night King?
[Ren: What's up? Just say it. I'm busy managing my new angel army.]
[Shiroyasha: Did you forget? I've prepared your gift for you.]
Gift?
Ren's eyes lit up. A spark of anticipation ignited in his chest.
The "gift" Shiroyasha had promised him earlier... it was probably her, right?
The former Demon Lord. The Vampire King. The Knight of Hakoniwa who had stripped herself of her Divinity and position for the sake of her comrades.
[Ren: Leticia.]
[Shiroyasha: Tsk, you have a really good memory for women. You seem very happy.]
[Ren: That's true. A man can never have too many loyal knights. But...]
Ren paused, a playful smirk appearing on his face as he typed his reply.
[Ren: If you could give yourself to me one day, I'd be even happier.]
[Shiroyasha: ...]
...
[Location: Hakoniwa (Little Garden) - 4th Outer Gate - Thousand Eyes Branch Store]
The atmosphere in the shop was heavy with the scent of old parchment and tea.
Shiroyasha sat cross-legged on a tatami mat, her fan hiding the lower half of her face. She was in her loli form—a petite girl in a white kimono with golden eyes that held the weight of the sun.
But right now, those sun-like eyes were twitching.
[Shiroyasha: Hehe, you're really greedy, even setting your sights on me. Do you want to be burned to ash?]
[Ren: What? Lacking confidence in yourself?]
[Ren: Then you don't have to worry. Whether it's your current loli form or your original Onee-san form, I can handle them all. I have high heat resistance.]
"..."
Shiroyasha squinted her eyes. The air around her began to distort.
Crackle.
Solar flares, miniature and terrifying, sparked around her hair ornaments. Her aura fluctuated intensely, the sheer heat causing the tatami mats to singe.
Standing quietly in the corner of the room was a woman of breathtaking beauty.
She had golden blonde hair tied back with a large black ribbon. Her dress was a maid-like combat uniform in red and black, emphasizing her stoic elegance.
Leticia Draculair.
She didn't know exactly what Ren had said to Shiroyasha via the mysterious screen.
But seeing the White Night King—one of the strongest beings in Hakoniwa—blush with a mix of anger and embarrassment was a rare sight.
Leticia honestly didn't speak. She just watched silently, her hands clasped respectfully in front of her. She was the item of trade today, and she had accepted her fate.
After a while.
Shiroyasha took a deep breath, chugging her tea in one gulp. Her aura returned to normal.
[Shiroyasha: Don't bother trying to flirt with me anymore. If you really want me, help me beat up all those annoying guys in Hakoniwa first. Become the King of Gods, and maybe I'll consider it.]
[Ren: Heh, I'm taking you seriously.]
[Shiroyasha: I'm not joking either, provided you can do it.]
Shiroyasha fanned herself rapidly to cool down her cheeks. She looked at Leticia, her gaze softening with a mix of guilt and relief.
[Shiroyasha: Let's get to the point. Leticia is here, and she has also decided to serve you loyally.]
[Ren: Loyal? That was fast. You definitely said something to her, didn't you?]
[Shiroyasha: Tsk, you're a bit too perceptive.]
Shiroyasha glanced at the blonde vampire.
[Shiroyasha: I just told her you're very strong, stronger than me, and that you might be able to find Canaria, and she became obedient.]
[Shiroyasha: No choice, I have to maintain my reputation in a transaction. I can't give you an unqualified product, can I? A rebellious maid is bad for business.]
[Ren: ...If you describe her like that, Leticia will be sad. She's a person, not a product.]
[Shiroyasha: She won't. After all, she has been through too much from the fall of Arcadia until now, and she's much more composed than you think. She would sell her soul to the devil if it meant saving her friends.]
Ren paused.
He knew the history. The great community "Arcadia" was destroyed overnight. Its name and flag were stolen. Its members were scattered or enslaved. Leticia had borne the burden of debt and slavery for years to protect the children.
[Ren: Alright. I'll take good care of her.]
[Ren: As for Canaria, there are some troublesome matters.]
[Shiroyasha: Hmm? You know her information?]
Shiroyasha's eyes narrowed instantly. The playfulness vanished.
Canaria. The strategist of Arcadia. The woman who had adopted the problem child Sakamaki Izayoi.
Her relationship with Canaria was not shallow. They were comrades, friends. She naturally wanted to know her information.
It just so happened that the Chat Group was not under Hakoniwa's control, nor was it under the gods' watchful eyes. Ren, as an outsider, might see threads of fate that Shiroyasha couldn't.
[Ren: She died. She died outside of Hakoniwa.]
[Shiroyasha: ...]
The fan in Shiroyasha's hand stopped moving.
Indeed.
She had long had such a premonition. Canaria had not returned for too long.
But upon truly learning this news, confirming the worst case scenario, she still couldn't help but sigh.
"Fate really plays tricks on people..." she murmured to the empty room.
[Shiroyasha: Since Canaria died... you probably can't do anything, right? Even the Administrator can't reverse death outside his domain.]
Death doesn't mean no connection to Hakoniwa. But reviving someone who died in the outer world was complicated.
[Ren: Although it's a bit troublesome, there is indeed a chance to revive her in the future. My power grows daily.]
[Ren: But by then, she'll also have a big belly from me. You and the Halloween Queen shouldn't mind, right?]
[Shiroyasha: ...]
Shiroyasha nearly choked on her own spit.
[Shiroyasha: As expected of you. I'm shocked by your libido. You want to impregnate a dead woman?!]
[Ren: Resurrection requires... a lot of mana transfer. It's a technical necessity.]
[Shiroyasha: Pervert! Absolute pervert!]
[Ren: Enough nonsense, I'm applying to transmigrate worlds. Agree to it.]
[Shiroyasha: ???]
Shiroyasha froze.
[Shiroyasha: You want to come to Hakoniwa? Personally?]
[Shiroyasha: This is Hakoniwa! The Little Garden under the gaze of the myriad gods and Buddhas! Shura and Devils roam here! You're just going to come over like that?]
This wasn't a joke.
Hakoniwa was a hyper-dimensional space where gods gathered. If a foreign entity like Ren—an Administrator with unknown powers—entered, the "Center of the Little Garden" might react. The eyes of Indra, the Greek Pantheon, and the Celtic Gods would turn toward him.
[Ren: Do you think I'm afraid?]
Ren's text radiated arrogance.
In layman's terms, he was now an existence capable of easily destroying multiverses and directly controlling wisps of the infinite laws of all realms. He had fused with multiple worlds.
Not to mention that the source of his power—the System—was far superior to the structure of Hakoniwa.
Even his own strength would not be intimidated by all the two-digit beings (Truths of the Universe) in Hakoniwa.
The only thing he needed to confirm was whether he would be restricted by Hakoniwa's complex "Game Rules" after entering.
Of course.
Even if something really went wrong, he could return to his main world at any time.
[Shiroyasha: ...]
Shiroyasha twitched the corner of her mouth.
[Shiroyasha: Of course I know you're not afraid. You're strong and can run away anytime, but what about me?]
[Shiroyasha: If you cause a scene, the Divine Army will come knocking on my door! "Hey, Shiroyasha, did you invite the Destroyer of Worlds?"]
Shiroyasha herself was afraid.
She was from Hakoniwa. She had taken the Spirit Status of a "Floor Master" to protect the lower levels, significantly reducing her power from her prime as the White Night King.
If something went wrong, wouldn't she end up like the tragic Algol? Sealed away or turned into a statue?
Don't want that to happen!
So she had to be extra careful, for fear of losing herself or endangering the "No Names."
[Shiroyasha: Is there any other way to send Leticia directly over? Without you visiting?]
She really didn't want to get into big trouble.
If Leticia went missing, she could still argue with others or fake a report. But if Ren appeared...
[Shiroyasha: For example... a Chat Group red packet? Can I stuff a vampire into an envelope?]
[Ren: ...Are you planning to package Leticia as a red packet? She's not a snack.]
[Ren: Don't worry, trust the Chat Group. Even if something goes wrong, I can kill your enemies or bring you to my world. In short, nothing will happen to you. I protect my trading partners.]
Shiroyasha hesitated. She looked at Leticia, then at the shop ceiling.
Finally, she sighed.
[Shiroyasha: Tsk, alright. If you die, don't blame me.]
[Ding! Chat Group Administrator Ren has initiated a world transmigration permission request to Chat Group member Shiroyasha!]
[Ding! World transmigration permission request approved!]
[Ding! The World Transmigration Gate is officially open!]
A hum of energy filled the shop. The space behind Leticia began to ripple like water.
"Shiroyasha-sama, are you troubled?"
Watching Shiroyasha's expression change many times—from anger to fear to resignation—Leticia couldn't help but ask.
She was a little worried that her existence would cause trouble for her benefactor.
Leticia knew how sensitive she was in the Hakoniwa world as a former Demon Lord and a pure-blooded vampire.
How many people and gods didn't want Arcadia to be well? How many wanted to use her as a tool?
"It's not about you, Leticia," Shiroyasha muttered, staring at the ripple. "She's worried about me getting dragged into a war with heaven."
"She?" Leticia blinked.
"No, He."
Suddenly, a voice appeared. It was deep, calm, and carried an undeniable weight of authority.
It didn't come from Shiroyasha. It came from right behind Leticia.
Leticia's vampire instincts screamed, but before she could move, a warmth enveloped her.
A strong hand wrapped around her slender waist from behind, pulling her back against a solid chest.
[Ren: I am your new master.]
Ren smiled faintly, leaning close to her ear, inhaling the scent of the Vampire King.
"And I've come to collect my gift."
