The dark blue-haired mage approached with a confident smile. Her large breasts moved slightly with each step under her tight robe.
Her pink eyes sparkled with interest as she looked directly at Saen.
"Hello. You need another member in your party, right? I'm Noxy Starmore, Rank F mage, specialized in fire and support. I can cover long-range attacks and basic healing."
The moment she finished speaking, Eva pressed herself even harder against Saen's arm.
Her soft breasts squashed against him possessively and her expression changed completely.
The sweet smile she had a second ago disappeared, replaced by a sharp look and a forced smile.
"And who told you we need anyone else?" Eva replied in a sweet voice loaded with venom.
Her free hand slid down to Saen's waist, digging her nails slightly over his clothes. "My Master and I manage very well on our own."
Noxy blinked, surprised by the sudden change in attitude, but she didn't back down. On the contrary, she let out a soft giggle and tilted her head, letting her blue hair fall over one shoulder.
"Wow, how protective. I just wanted to help. You two are warriors, right? I saw your plaques. Without magic or long-range attacks, you're going to struggle a lot against the Slimes… or against anything with mobility."
Saen felt the tension growing in the air. Eva's body was rigid against his, almost trembling with irritation. He could notice how her breathing was accelerating and how her grip on his arm became stronger.
"Eva…" he murmured softly, trying to calm her.
But Eva didn't take her eyes off Noxy. Her violet eyes had a dangerous gleam.
"Master doesn't need any other girl to cover his back. I'm here for that."
Saen sighed internally. He had to intervene before Eva pulled out her two-handed sword in the middle of the guild.
"Eva, wait." He gently caressed her head with his free hand, the same gesture she liked so much. It worked a little; Eva relaxed slightly, although she remained stuck to him as if he were her territory.
"Noxy is right. Neither of us has long-range attacks. If the Slimes surround us or any monster attacks from afar, we'll be very exposed."
He looked at the blue-haired mage. She was really beautiful. Her curves were even more pronounced than Eva's, and the way the robe clung to her body left little to the imagination.
"Besides, we need money quickly. A mage would help us finish the mission faster and safer. What do you say, Eva? We can try with her just this once."
Eva pressed her lips together. Her face clearly showed the internal battle: she wanted to please her master, but the idea of sharing him with another girl burned inside her.
After a few seconds of awkward silence, she spoke through gritted teeth:
"…Just this mission. If she tries anything weird, I'll cut her in two."
Noxy let out a light laugh, not seeming intimidated.
"Relax, warrior. I'm just looking for a stable party. Although I admit your 'master' looks quite interesting…" she said, winking at Saen.
Eva took a step forward, but Saen stopped her by wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her against his chest.
The contact made her calm down a bit, although her eyes remained fixed on Noxy with clear hostility.
"Alright. Welcome to the party, Noxy," Saen said, trying to sound calm.
While the two girls measured each other with their eyes, Saen looked up toward the back of the guild, where there was a bar and rest area.
There, sitting at a long table with a noisy group of adventurers, was a girl who immediately caught his attention.
Long, shiny red hair that fell like fire down to her waist.
She wore tight black leather clothing that marked every curve of her athletic body: firm breasts, narrow waist, and wide hips.
She had a mug of beer in her hand and drank heartily, laughing loudly with her companions.
A thin scar crossed her left cheek, giving her a wild and sexy look at the same time.
For a second, their eyes met.
Saen felt a shiver. She was beautiful in a dangerous way.
And right at that moment, as if she had felt his gaze, the red-haired girl turned her head completely toward him.
Her green eyes narrowed with interest… and a predatory smile slowly formed on her lips.
