Chapter 17 - Chapter 17: Papers

[Congratulations Host for completing the Yandere Fight mission] [50% EXP for Level 6]

Saen got up from his makeshift bed in the camp.

On both sides he had his beauties, Eva and Noxy, both hugging him with their breasts rubbing against his body. XXX

Now they were in the adventurers guild with a giant bag full of slime stone hearts, and among them was the most important one: the Alpha Slime's heart.

'I hope they give me a lot of money thanks to that heart,' Saen thought hopefully, since he currently didn't have a single coin.

Noxy and Eva spent the entire way throwing double-meaning jokes at each other trying to discourage the other.

Even though Saen had set some rules, he hadn't taken into account that it would worsen the atmosphere, although he also liked the chaos they caused a little as long as it didn't damage the group's integrity.

Saen approached the receptionist who had received him kindly at the beginning.

"Where can I claim the mission reward and sell what I managed to collect from the monsters?"

The elf girl was completely free.

"You have to go to the man with the big beard on the third floor," said the girl, hoping they would leave quickly so she could attend to other people.

Just like the first reaction he had with the receptionist, Eva pushed him impatiently to claim the reward.

"Let's go already, we have to claim the prize," she said, pulling Saen's arm.

Meanwhile, a slight smile could be seen on Noxy's face because of Eva's attitude, but she decided not to say anything.

On the second floor of the guild building there were more tables where other guild members were gathered.

None of them looked at Saen's group again except for one group.

The third floor was full of guild employees along with a space for cooks and waitresses; the guild vendors were there.

[New mission for Host]

The man the receptionist had mentioned did have a large gray beard and looked like a person over 70 years old.

"Pass me the signed paper proving you completed the client's mission," said the man who had a tag with the surname Stark.

Saen was stunned by what the man had said. At no point had they been told that the client had to sign any paper.

"I don't have the paper, Mr. Stark. What can be done to solve this problem?" Saen said, his heart starting to race.

Stark looked at him with curiosity, drumming his fingers.

"Go back for the paper and have the client sign it," Mr. Stark said without changing his facial expression.

Saen turned to look at the girls. Eva was starting to get angry, while Noxy had a slight smile on her face.

"Why do you want to laugh, Noxy?" Saen said, trying to understand the mage's laughter.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA"

Saen blinked in astonishment at what he was seeing and hearing. 'She's gone crazy,' Saen thought with a bit of disappointment.

"What's so funny, Noxy?" he asked, looking at her seriously.

"I have the paper with the farmer's signature right here, hahahahaha." She reached into her bag and pulled out a paper that was glowing. "Here is the signature, Mr. Stark," she said, handing the paper to the vendor.

'When?' Saen thought, trying to remember the moment when she could have gotten the signature, until he recalled.

They had been collecting all the slime hearts with Eva while Noxy wasn't there, probably asking the farmer to mark the mission as completed.

Even though Saen's indignation grew little by little because they hadn't been told anything about the signature, it did make sense to ask the client for confirmation.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Eva said, glaring at Noxy with her arms crossed.

"Little warrior, I didn't say it to see your reaction in a moment of worry about having forgotten a detail, but..." She placed a hand on her chest.

"I won't do it again, dear Saen," Noxy said tenderly.

'How extravagant,' Saen thought.

Mr. Stark cleared his throat to get their attention again.

"How much do you want for the slime hearts?"

Saen stayed thinking about the amount, but since he didn't know the prices of things in this world, he didn't know what to offer.

Seeing that neither Eva nor Saen said anything, Noxy decided to speak.

"We want a total of 100 silver coins, one silver per heart. That would be a good deal, Mr. Stark," she said with a tone of confidence that Saen had only seen from the most experienced players in MMOs.

"I don't think that will be possible. I'm seeing an irregularity.

This group was only supposed to be two people and I see three members," Mr. Stark said, looking at each of those present.

[Mission available]

[Objective: Successfully convince Mr. Stark to buy the Slime hearts for double what Noxy offered]

[Reward: Reach level 6]

[Penalty: Noxy loses 3 levels]

'That's unfair.'

[Allies detected….]

[They are coming up from the second floor]

'Allies? I only have Noxy and Eva.'
