Luffy and Kid immediately shook their heads.

Even after being beaten, Monkey D. Luffy was still full of energy. He looked curiously toward the place where Renji had been standing.

Luffy's face showed excitement. Even after being rescued by Trafalgar D. Water Law, he clearly had no intention of calming down. He looked toward Renji and was about to say something, but suddenly realized Renji had disappeared as if he had never been there.
"Strange," Luffy muttered as he scratched his head in confusion. "Where did that guy go? Did we imagine him? That should not be possible. My body still hurts."

Under a massive mangrove tree, a strange coincidence had gathered half of the Supernovas in one place.
Out of the eleven Supernovas, the ones not present were Luffy, Law, Kid, Jewelry Bonney, and Roronoa Zoro.
Six Supernovas stood facing each other.
As Supernovas, they naturally recognized one another and knew a bit about each other's reputation, so everyone remained cautious.
At that moment, Borsalino walked directly between them.
"One, two… wow, six Supernovas. If I manage to capture all of you, the bounties alone will exceed seven hundred million berries. That is a lot of money. I wonder how I should spend it."
For a moment, Borsalino appeared to fall into deep thought as if he were seriously considering how to spend the money.
"That guy… is not that Borsalino?"
Behind the group stood a huge man nearly four meters tall with wings on his back. He smiled slightly. This man was the Sky Island Supernova Urouge.
"As pirates, everyone wants fame. Instead of fighting each other, why not join forces and take down an Admiral? That would be far more impressive."

Someone quickly agreed.
A man dressed like a swordsman stepped forward. He was the former Marine Rear Admiral who later became a pirate, X Drake.
"If we manage to defeat a Marine Admiral, even if six of us have to work together, our reputation will explode instantly. Once we enter the New World, we will be able to gather as many followers as we want."
For pirates, money mattered, but power mattered even more. With power came wealth and loyal followers.
Urouge and Drake's suggestion clearly resonated with the others.
Killer said nothing. Holding his specially designed blades, he quietly moved behind Borsalino.
Basil Hawkins put away his cards and silently moved to Borsalino's other side.
"I have to admit, your suggestion suits my taste."
The mafia styled pirate Capone Bege stepped directly in front of Borsalino.
His actions were even more direct. The Castle Fruit ability activated immediately. Numerous openings appeared across his body, revealing armed subordinates hidden inside.
"Hahaha," laughed Scratchmen Apoo. "You guys go ahead and fight. I am just a musician and not very strong, so I will stay out of it."
He said he would not participate, but his actions suggested otherwise. He positioned himself directly behind Borsalino.
"Oh my."
At that moment Borsalino seemed to snap out of his thoughts. Looking around, he realized that he had already been surrounded by six Supernovas.
"So scary."
He said the words calmly without any emotional change.
Ring ring.
Just as Borsalino was about to act, a Den Den Mushi began ringing.
He lowered his gaze and looked at the watch Den Den Mushi on his wrist.
"Hello hello, is this how you answer a Den Den Mushi?"
Borsalino scratched his head in confusion, looking genuinely puzzled.
"You bastard, are you ignoring us?"
Capone Bege immediately became furious. As a mafia boss who came from the criminal underworld, he had never been treated with such disregard.
Boom!
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Gunfire erupted instantly. Countless bullets and cannon shells fired from Bege's body, raining down on Borsalino like a storm.
The tiny bullets and shells grew to full size the moment they left Bege's body.
Explosions echoed everywhere.
Yet the barrage caused no damage at all.
It did not even interrupt Borsalino's ridiculous attempt to answer the watch Den Den Mushi.
"So he is a Logia user."
Bege frowned.
"Physical attacks cannot harm him. That ability is really troublesome."
"I will try."
At that moment Scratchmen Apoo spoke.
A powerful sound wave burst from his body. The sound wave condensed into visible energy and slashed straight through Borsalino.
Borsalino's body was cut apart.
"That seemed to work?"
Apoo was just about to celebrate when he noticed Borsalino still calmly talking to the watch Den Den Mushi.
Not a drop of blood appeared.
The separated parts of Borsalino's body transformed into golden light.
They quickly reassembled.
Even his clothes returned to normal.
"It seems sound based attacks cannot harm a Logia user either."
"Oh wow, looks like I arrived at the perfect time."
At that moment Renji arrived at the battlefield.
"Good thing I did not waste too much time dealing with Luffy and the others. Otherwise I would have missed all this excitement."
Renji scanned the surroundings briefly.
Soon he blended into a group of Marines.
This was a perfect opportunity.
Based on Renji's current strength, the battle between Borsalino and the Supernovas would be enough to push him into the Admiral tier.
