Hearing Luffy's words, Roronoa Zoro tightened his grip on his swords.
"If that thing isn't Kuma, then it shouldn't be too scary."
Although he said it casually, his posture clearly showed that he was still on guard.
Beside him, Sanji glanced at Zoro.
He knew what Zoro had experienced before. Sanji flicked the cigarette from his mouth to the ground and crushed it under his shoe.
"That thing won't be easy to deal with. Let's not fight it one by one this time. Everyone attack together."
Luffy shrugged.
"Is that necessary? I'll go first."
Zoro ignored him.
His swords began to spin in his hands as he charged toward the Pacifista, accelerating rapidly.
"Three Thousand Worlds!"
As Zoro passed by, his three blades slashed across the massive body of the Pacifista several times.
The attack had some effect. At least it exposed the metal structure inside the machine for Luffy and the others to see.
But it caused no real damage.
"Not bad for someone at the Supernova level."
Watching the attack, Sentomaru nodded in approval.
He acknowledged the strength of Zoro's attack.
But only within the category of Supernovas.
And that level meant nothing to him.
"However," Sentomaru continued, "if this is the limit of your strength as Supernovas, then defeating a Pacifista is impossible."
Impossible?
Hearing that word immediately triggered Luffy's stubborn pride.
But the second person to attack was not Luffy.
It was Sanji.
"Diable Jambe!"
Sanji's right leg spun rapidly until flames ignited around it.
He leapt high into the air, spinning violently as his flaming kick slammed toward the Pacifista's face.
"Collier!"
Clang!
The sound of metal echoed loudly.
Sanji's kick did not do nothing, but the damage was minimal.
In fact, the rebound from the metal hurt his leg more than the kick hurt the Pacifista.
"What is this thing?"
Sanji quickly jumped back, rubbing his aching leg with a confused expression.
The flames had barely done anything except scorch the paint on the machine.
"Sanji," Sentomaru murmured while looking at him.
His expression carried a strange meaning.
"As expected of someone from that family."
"But it's a pity."
"If you had that family's technology along with this physical strength, the Pacifista might not be your opponent."
Sentomaru's muttering went unnoticed.
Otherwise Nico Robin could have extracted a lot of information from him with only a couple of questions.
"Gear Third!"
Now Monkey D. Luffy finally attacked.
He bit his thumb and blew air into his arm.
His already ridiculous lung capacity expanded his arm to enormous size.
"Gum-Gum…"
As he spoke, Luffy swung his giant arm toward the Pacifista.
The Pacifista did not stand still.
Its mouth opened, revealing a cannon barrel.
Both of its hands also aimed forward.
Three barrels began glowing with bright golden light.
"Gigant Pistol!"
The attacks were launched at the same time.
Boom!
Luffy's enormous fist smashed into the Pacifista's head.
As for the Pacifista's laser attack, Luffy blocked it directly with his body.
Not exactly flesh and blood though.
More precisely, hardened rubber absorbed the attack.
Crackle.
After the strike, Luffy shrank back to normal size.
He quickly retreated.
"Zoro, Sanji. I'll leave the rest to you!"
The Pacifista no longer looked imposing.
Its head had been smashed flat by Luffy's punch, exposing internal machinery.
"How is that possible?"
Sentomaru was visibly shocked.
His quiet muttering turned into an angry shout.
"That material was developed by Dr. Vegapunk."
"Even Marine Vice Admirals would have difficulty breaking it."
"Actually," Sanji said calmly.
Flames ignited on his leg again, spreading gradually across his body.
This time he was completely serious.
"There's nothing impossible in this world."
"A miracle is simply what people call something they thought was impossible."
Sanji leapt into the air again like a falling meteor.
"Diable Jambe…"
"Extra Hachis!"
Their figures crossed.
Sanji landed on the ground.
Pain surged through his leg.
His right leg was on the verge of breaking.
But the result was obvious.
The Pacifista's already damaged armor was shattered completely.
Ignoring the pain, Sanji looked toward Zoro.
"Moss-head!"
"I know."
Zoro's eyes glowed red.
His body seemed to change.
Three heads.
Six arms.
"Demon Aura. Nine Sword Style."
He rushed forward.
His blades flashed repeatedly across the damaged Pacifista.
"Asura: Demon Nine Flash!"
Nine slashes tore through the machine.
The Pacifista was completely destroyed.
"That's impossible!"
Sentomaru's eyes widened in disbelief.
This was a new weapon recently developed by Vegapunk for the Marines.
And it had been destroyed on its very first mission.
By a few Supernovas.
"How is it impossible?"
Nami shouted excitedly.
Usopp danced around proudly as if he had been the one who destroyed it.
"This is the three great combat powers of the Straw Hat crew!"
"Scared yet?"
"Then get lost!"
"Scared?"
Sentomaru laughed.
Behind him, several shadows emerged.
Four more Pacifistas stepped forward.
