A scream echoed.
The Marine Rear Admiral now had his own sword embedded in his body.

Instead he spoke with a strangely familiar tone.

This man was Sentomaru.
He carefully examined the few items Borsalino carried.
"The one you are looking at is the watch Den Den Mushi. It only tells time."
"The one inside your coat is the communication Den Den Mushi. If I contact you, check that one. Got it, old man?"
Borsalino scratched his head with a troubled expression.
"Why is that so complicated? Why not combine the functions?"
As the fleet advanced, the twenty ships did not stop in one place.
They spread out across the sea.
Each ship maintained distance from the others.
Gradually they formed a massive circle.
The Marines were sealing off the entire island.
"Maybe we should just launch a Buster Call."
Borsalino looked toward the island again. He still felt it was troublesome to fight on land.
"I have the authority. And we have enough ships."
A Buster Call was a brutal operation that burned everything to the ground. It involved ten warships, five Vice Admirals, and elite Marine forces.
The fleet under Borsalino's command could launch two Buster Calls simultaneously.
"No way!"
Sentomaru immediately rejected the idea.
"There are three Celestial Dragons on the island!"
His objection was not because a Buster Call was a bad option.
The Sabaody Archipelago was already chaotic.
With eleven Supernovas present, destroying the island might have been effective.
But it was impossible.
If the Celestial Dragons were harmed, even the World Government would face consequences.
"Old man, our mission is to avenge the Celestial Dragons, not massacre everyone. Understand?"
Borsalino sighed.
His face did not change much, but his helplessness was obvious.
"So troublesome."
"You all follow the plan and seal the island."
"I will go take a look first."

In the next instant Borsalino disappeared from sight.
"Old man! Wait..."
Sentomaru looked toward the direction Borsalino had vanished.
His face was full of resignation.
Having worked with Borsalino for years under Dr. Vegapunk, Sentomaru understood him very well.
He sighed again.
"I knew it. Nothing good ever happens when I go on a mission with that old man."
