Despite his better judgement, Yoshihiro found himself at the hot spring in Konoha again after leaving the Uchiha compound and eating a bowl of Ichiraku ramen. Today was an infamous day, the day of the mixed bath. That meant a lot of perverts and especially a lot of horny men made their way to the bath house… but there was also an upside.
The Kiri jinchūriki was rich. Filthy rich. He didn't have to soak in the commoner's section with all the horndogs hoping to ogle one of the rare good-looking women who went to the hot spring on this day. And he didn't have to fear getting ogled by one of the many older crones treating this day as a feast for their weary eyes because the spirited horndogs gathered.
Letting out a deep sigh, the six-tails jinchūriki sat down in the hot waters with his eyes closed.
*Your actions contradict each other, Yo-san,* Saiken suddenly pointed out inside his mind just as he relaxed.
'I'm a complicated man,' Yoshihiro countered with a chuckle.
*Why pretend to kill Rin-san in front of Tsunade and then give her to Kakashi-kun with a threat?*
'Tsunade needed to learn a lesson, and I realised that I didn't care enough to actually bring Rin back to life. It would be an achievement, but I don't know why I ever bothered. Yes, the reveal would amuse me more than most things in this world, but only if I actively searched for Obito and looked him in the eye when he learned the truth.'
*You did not keep Rin-san alive and confide in her for several years because of potential amusement, Yo-san,* Saiken softly chided.
'True, I didn't. But I can change my mind about things, can't I?'
*You very rarely do, and only for things you don't obsess over,* the six-tails pointed out in a dry tone of voice.
'I don't ob… did I obsess over Rin's survival?'
*You created a new healing pill almost every single week.*
'True, and yet I could have healed her pretty much immediately if I truly wanted to.'
*That is not a very likely turn of events. That golden pill that you said could raise the dead… you only have one. With your sense of self-preservation, you would never give it up for someone other than yourself.*
'You really get me,' Yoshihiro theatrically cooed as he pretended to wipe away a tear. 'But I had other special pills I created that could have maybe done it. But I kept them and tried to find one to just rebuild the heart anyway.'
*So why did you help this Uchiha Itachi by revealing his condition to his parents?*
Saiken knew better than to ask how Yoshihiro even knew about the illness in the first place. It certainly wasn't because she could feel it on the battlefield like her jinchūriki pretended it happened.
'I'm interested in Itachi's future. Additionally, the little shit is still a kid. You know I have a soft spot for kids,' the Red Demon argued back.
*You do. And yet you don't even care to meet your own,* Saiken once more ruthlessly pointed out.
Yoshihiro opened his eyes and looked in the direction where the twins were currently. It was as if he could see through the trees and buildings in the way – because he could with his sensory abilities – and his frown deepened.
'I am not father material. These two are better off without knowing me.'
*A coward's choice,* Saiken calmly judged.
'You're not wrong. And yet I stand by my decision. Too many people know about my pills already. Which is why I don't get Tsunade's careless actions. There are so many who would kill for my creations. Not even her village is entirely safe for the twins despite her status. I thought she would get that when I threatened her with the annihilation of Konoha if Danzō or the Hokage touched our offspring.'
*The truth will come out eventually. These two will not think kindly of you then.*
'If my children are alive to hate me, so be it. They wouldn't be the first to hate me.'
The tailed beast kept quiet at that, arguing inwardly that she had said everything she wanted to say.
"You're ogling," a woman suddenly stated in an odd mix of displeasure and intrigue.
The Uzumaki shinobi stopped paying attention to his sensory chakra and focused on what he was looking at instead of what he was looking through. A kunoichi with a wild look, in her early twenties, sat between him and the faraway Senju compound.
Briefly looking down, Yoshihiro gave the woman a nod and complimented, "That wasn't my intention, but you're worth ogling."
The woman gained a knowing smirk, not actually offended at all. But the three young women sitting next to her had long ago covered themselves with an extra towel even under water whereas the smirking one only had a towel on her head.
"You aren't from Konoha, are you?"
"I suppose not. What gave it away?"
"You're confident and unrestrained. A bold man like you would stand out anywhere. That and your red hair. Nobody in Konoha has that, since…," she confidently stated but stopped herself from finishing the sentence.
"Terumi Yoshihiro. I'm guessing you are from the Inuzuka clan?"
"What gave it away?" The kunoichi asked with a smirk as she returned the question.
She was entirely unconcerned sitting next to the Red Demon, but the other women around her noticeably tensed when they heard his name. Except for one, the youngest of the group.
"If you must know, the red fang marking and hair color. If you want a compliment, it's that wild energy."
With a wink, Yoshihiro studied the faces of the other three women briefly before closing his eyes again.
He wasn't some gooner waiting to hit on the Konoha womenfolk. And he had already plucked the best one anyway, even if it had only been a one-time deal. And all those other waifus except for the rare few like Kurenai were still toddlers or barely academy brats anyway. He'd rather never have sex at all again than groom a literal child like a sick freak.
"Come, Anko. We shouldn't linger," the Inuzuka woman whispered ten minutes later as the group made to leave the bath.
Yoshihiro noted that his guess had been correct, the youngest of the group had indeed been Anko. Sadly, threatening her life would not affect Tsunade much. The fact that she was a student of Orochimaru didn't mean much now that he had defected and left her behind. And even then it would be a stretch to threaten Tsunade with the life of a friend's student… again.
"Must be a nice assignment, getting to watch people in a hot spring all evening," the Kiri nin eventually called out despite being the only one in the vicinity at the moment.
An ANBU nin appeared behind him outside of the water with one hand on the chokuto – a slim straight sword favored by many ninja proficient in sword arts – at her back.
"I have no idea why the Hokage tolerates your presence in the village, but it should be clear that there is nothing I can do other than reporting your misdeeds should you care to act out."
Yoshihiro lifted an eyebrow and commented, "You're awfully blunt and forthcoming for an ANBU."
"I have been briefed on the mission to the Tsuchigumo clan. Your insights into our village are scary. Engaging with you might reveal more information that we need to be aware of."
"Talkative and opinionated," the Red Demon judged with a small laugh. He realized now why he was the only one in this section of the hot springs; they wanted to isolate him.
When she didn't say anything in response, Yoshihiro requested, "I don't know who you are, so why not introduce yourself?"
"I'm afraid I have not been allowed to reveal my identity to you," she answered in a small voice.
'She wants me to think she is naive,' Yoshihiro thought. 'Who would believe an elite ANBU is naive, though?'
"If you don't care to join me and you don't want to show your face, I suggest you take a break in the shadows. I won't be moving from here for another hour at least. I love lying in hot water," the red demon lazily commented and closed his eyes again.
He was sure he had seen the purple-haired woman before – in his last life anyway. But she couldn't be someone strong if he couldn't even remember her name despite her 'protagonist hair color'.
The ANBU didn't stay for long, because eventually she judged her mission to be a failure. All she learned about Terumi Yoshihiro was that he liked bathing in hot waters. Subtle interrogations and seduction simply weren't her strong suit, so that outcome was as expected.
But Konoha had two ANBU factions, and the other one sent someone much more experienced the moment Uzuki Yugao, the purple-haired, sword-wielding ANBU left.
"It is very empty. Usually this area is much more well-visited," a soft voice called out not far from Yoshihiro.
Opening one eye, the six-tails jinchūriki turned thoughtful.
Blonde hair, soft green eyes hidden behind round glasses that were fogging up a little in the misty air of the hot spring.
'She was… Kabuto's foster mother, right?' Yoshihiro mused inwardly but kept quiet.
Danzō's pawn would need to do more to get him to open up.
"Was it something you did, Red Demon-sama?"
"Danzō will soon orchestrate your death at the hands of your favorite child," Yoshihiro bluntly stated instead of rebuking her. "And Kabuto will never recover from his loss."
Yakushi Nono stilled in disbelief.
"Wha-"
"Please. I am not in the mood for more mind games tonight. Seduce me or stay quiet and leave," the red-haired shinobi 'suggested' as he scoffed. "How could I ever believe a saint running a notoriously underfunded orphanage goes to the expensive hot spring section on the mixed bath day in the first place?"
It had been a while since his rebirth, but the memories come back to him when he sees someone special or hears about some plotline. The woman with him was important to one of the story's main driving forces. Far from some nobody ANBU with purple hair.
Nono kept quiet for several minutes before she sighed and asked, "Will I really die in Kabuto's hands?"
"You're not questioning my judgment?"
She shook her head and conceded sadly, "It sounds like something Danzō-sama would do. And you even know about Kabuto-kun and my orphanage. Little Kabuto should be beneath your notice as he just started at the academy and yet you recognized me and his connection to me instantly. I don't believe you're speaking out of turn."
Yoshihiro smiled but didn't say anything.
"May I ask how you know?"
"Danzō and I have something in common. We were both once called the darkness of our village. The difference is that I used my position to steal all the children I was supposed to kill to give them a chance at a life. He steals children that didn't need to die to use as tools."
After a short moment of silence, Nono praised with a small nod, "I heard the recent graduates in Kiri were very impressive." She recognized the implied answer to her question in his response. Yoshihiro knew how Danzō thought, or at least he had the impression that he did know. The parallels were there.
"Only strength allows you to live for yourself. That's what I taught them," Yoshihiro answered with a small shrug.
"Live for yourself," Nono quoted thoughtfully under her breath.
From what little Yoshihiro remembered about the woman's backstory, he knew that she genuinely cared for children and only reluctantly worked with Danzō. She was instrumental in the upbringing of one of the most influential secondary antagonists of the Naruto series. After all, it was Kabuto who raised most of the strong Kage-level fighters with an improved Edo Tensei during the Fourth Ninja War, not Orochimaru.
Without Kabuto, Black Zetsu would still implement its plan and free Kaguya. But if he played his cards right, Yoshihiro judged that he might be able to take away a rather annoying chess piece from the board.
Not that it truly mattered to him if he didn't. Black Zetsu would need to do some serious scheming to get the reincarntor out of the picture in a ploy the jinchūriki didn't foresee himself.
"I should lay low for a while," Yoshihiro mumbled under his breath. It wasn't in his best interest to showcase his full strength publically before certain things were put in motion. He still couldn't be entirely sure if a White Zetsu had been present with the Mayfly Technique when he dealt with the invading Kumo force. Since opening his mind's eye, he hadn't felt any Zetsu nearby. He couldn't be sure if the ability could sense those clones or not. It should, but without positive feedback, Yoshihiro was left guessing.
Being found out wouldn't be a problem, just annoying, though.
The moment 'Uchiha Madara' managed to recruit Akatsuki by telling Nagato about the plan to put the world under genjutsu to stop all wars by sacrificing the tailed beasts would be when Yoshihiro could forget about getting in Konan's pants. But he could still build a rapport with them before they knew their ultimate goal. Right now, the background villains only helped Pain with his revenge, not with ultimate goals. That would come after Hanzo's death.
Zetsu and Obito wouldn't poison Nagato's mind about the Red Demon in particular unless those two knew about Yoshihiro's strength. Only if they knew would they try to get the man with the legendary Rinnegan to deal with Terumi Yoshihiro.
The Uzumaki alchemist was quite certain he would absolutely body the leader of the Akatsuki, whether Pain had the Rinnegan and could wield it perfectly or not. But if he did annihilate Pain, Akatsuki wouldn't try to get Saiken and then Zetsu would do something Yoshihiro had no knowledge of or Zetsu would wait for another generation.
And that was just annoying to the reincarnator.
"You said 'seduce me or stay quiet and leave'," Nono suddenly said, still partially hidden by the fog. "We are alone for another half an hour at the very least. Is seducing you still an option?"
"Hmm?"
"A woman also has needs," Nono pointed out with a small sigh. "You have kind eyes. And you are very attractive."
Yoshihiro grinned but merely opened his arms in invitation.
The moment she came over and boldly sat in his lap, Terumi Yoshihiro took off her glasses and broke off both temples at the hinges.
"I'd survive, but I don't care to get poisoned," he calmly stated and tossed the two hidden weapons away before gently placing the remaining frame of the glasses back on her nose. With one hand, he brushed some hair behind Nono's ear and took out more poisoned needles from the small bun that she had fashioned with the hidden weapons.
He tossed those needles away as well and allowed her blonde hair to fall down into the water.
"You are very calm. Confident," Nono assessed without any shyness as she allowed Yoshihiro to do as he pleased. From everything she knew about him, the orphanage matron knew that the disparity in strength between them was beyond anything she could overcome.
One wrong move and she was dead and nobody would take care of her children. Nobody she fully trusted anyway.
"And you are very courageous," Yoshihiro praised with a grin as he took off a necklace hanging between her full breasts. Seeing a short panic in her eyes, the Red Demon judged that it wasn't just a hidden weapon but also held sentimental value. Maybe a kid gifted her the necklace and it was only fashioned into a weapon later.
So he took it and tied her hair in a tight ponytail with it instead of throwing it away.
"Thank you," Nono whispered and placed both of her hands on his chest.
Looking down for a short moment she quickly looked up again. She feared her glasses would fall down without the temples holding them in place, but they stayed on perfectly.
Yoshihiro noticed and wanted to quip and say, "Bungee gum chakra thread possesses the properties of both rubber and gum," but it would have only confused the woman in his lap.
Instead, Yoshihiro warmed the waters around them a little with a small flex of his boil release chakra and placed both hands on Nono's ass.
She hummed in approval and both of her hands started tracing the lines of Yoshihiro's muscular upper body.
"I have seldom seen such defined muscles and I work in Konoha's hospital as a nurse," Nono eventually whispered as her fingers circled briefly one of his nipples. "You take very good care of your health."
Softly squeezing her elastic ass, allowing his left hand to roam her beautiful long legs and his right hand to grab her firm waist, Yoshihiro smiled and countered, "Stop it or I'll blush. You're in great shape yourself."
Without waiting for any more banter, Yoshihiro gently flexed his hips upward.
"Hnng," Nono moaned but kept her eyes open to stare at her partner.
It was kind of sensual as she tried to keep control over her own actions. Both of her arms hung over the jinchūriki's shoulders now. She pushed her waist forward, allowing his stiff member to penetrate her even deeper.
With another open-eyed moan, she began to circle her hips slowly. Something about Yoshihiro's touch, however, drove her thoughts wild. Wilder than she planned. But then again, none of this went as planned.
Touching herself for comfort, nothing ever felt like this. Thinking about that, she took his left hand and moved it above water to place it on her collarbone.
With a gentle touch, she brought his thumb on her throat and pressed his fingers into her shoulder. Nono's hips never stopped and the moment his grip strengthened on her collar, a small orgasm rocked through her.
This was different from most of the sex he'd had.
But Yoshihiro was enjoying himself.
And Nono briefly forgot that she was technically on a mission.
