Chapter 18 - Basic Health Potion

Having said everything he wanted, and seeing her emotions fluctuate like that, Graham finally stood up, before patting her head.

"You don't have to give me an answer right away."

"You can take your time. Since we have all the time in the world ahead of us."

After getting a pat on the head,

Rhea blinked once... then twice... Then she slowly raised her head and met his eyes with a lost expression for a moment before immediately averting her eyes.

Then she looked to the side while blushing furiously, wanting to dig a hole and hide herself to escape from this situation.

' Yup. Definitely adorable. ' Graham thought to himself.

Then seeing her injuries,

'Hey Lisa..'

[ Yes, Master! ]

'I completed the side quest, right?'

[ Yup. By molesting your own teacher, while she was defenseless, you definitely completed it. ]

'But you are one who suggested it.' 😒

[ I gave you the option to refuse, didn't I? ]

'Haa... Fine. Have it your way...

Yes, I am a human scum who took advantage of his own teacher.'

[ Wow, Master! You must have a really thick skin to admit it yourself ]

Now that he said it out loud, Graham kinda felt a little bad.

But looking at Rhea's blushing face, and remembering that heavenly feeling he got from squeezing one of her soft breasts, he thought to himself.

'But definitely worth it.'

'Jokes aside, Lisa, what is the cost of creating a basic health potion?'

[ 10 SP + 10 Origin Mana, Master.]

'She definitely planned for this', thinking to himself,

Graham said 'Okay, create one for me, Rhea needs it.'

[ Opening Alchemy Station... ]

[ Creating basic health potion...

3...2...1... Done.]

A green liquid contained in a glass similar to a test tube, materialised in Graham's hands. Focusing on it, he saw something appear at the corner of his vision.

[ Potion type : Health Potion

Grade : Basic

Effects : heals all kinds of ailments in an unranked individual. ( Note : it cannot be used to recreate lost limbs) ]

Since it was created by his own system, the moment he held the potion, it's discription immediately appeared on a system window.

Marveling at the efficiency of the system, Graham gave the potion to Rhea saying,

"Drink this. It'll help you with your injuries."

Looking suspiciously at the green liquid, Rhea still received it and drank it in one gulp.

'Even though he is a scoundrel who made me feel all kinds of emotions, he was still a good boy in his student years. Let's trust him on this.', That was her thought process before drinking it.

After drinking everything, her wounds immediately started recovering including her left arm that was out of commission from the previous battle.

Even her old scars that she got due to her assasin training in her childhood days, were suddenly gone.

Rhea immediately jumped in surprise, forgetting all about her emotional turmoil.

{ A/N : Even though it took a while to explain all this, from the moment Graham saved Rhea, his battle with the monsters, his confession of love to her after that, and then finally giving her a health potion, everything happened in less than 5 minutes.

So no, Graham did not let Rhea suffer for too long.

He was just caught up in the moment, before realising his mistake and healing her. }

"What is this? Where did you get it? It must be pretty expensive right? Have you got more of it? If not, what will you do if you suddenly injure yourself? Tell me."

After recovering, Rhea immediately started hurling a barrage of questions aimed at Graham.

To escape from her barrage, he pointed in the distance and said to her,

"Look, I got a present for you."

The mention of a 'present' immediately got her attention. Then she started searching in the direction he pointed, and finally found it among the pile of monster corpses.

There it was, the lizard monster, that almost killed her with a single swipe of it's tail.

The lizard monster's Pov

I'm just a humble little monster among others that you can find anywhere in this higher universe that contains beings with unimaginable powers.

I had heard of those unfathomable individuals sending little critters like us to foreign universes and cause internal chaos to help with their invasion. But none of those monsters ever made it back.

One day, one of the powerhouses I heard about, finally came to the place I was living ( along with some other monsters ) and subdued all of us without lifting so much as a single finger.

With a belly full of anger and despair, that I couldn't let out, I got thrust into one of those dimensional portals along with other monsters.
