Lila's POV
I finally agreed to join Jax and Theo for lunch after the charity event. My heart wouldn't stop racing the whole way to the cafeteria. I felt incredibly nervous, like I didn't deserve to be walking beside them.
They were tall, confident, and good-looking. I was just the chubby girl who cleaned their dorm at night. Every step made me more aware of how my body jiggled slightly in my clothes, and I kept wondering why they even wanted me there.
As soon as we stepped into the cafeteria, all eyes turned toward us. Whispers started immediately. I lowered my head, staring at the floor, wishing I could disappear. The tight uniform from earlier was gone, but I still felt exposed. That's when Theo casually slipped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to his side.
I turned my face up to look at him. My cheeks burned hot. Being this close to him made me extremely nervous. His body heat reached me, and the simple touch sent a familiar rush of warmth between my legs. I pressed my thighs together without thinking.
"There," Jax said suddenly.
We walked over to where Miles sat at a corner table, talking on his phone with his lunch tray still untouched in front of him. The three of us approached, and I slid into the seat across from him. When Miles finally put his phone down and looked up at me, his face lit up with a gentle smile.
"Hey, I didn't know they'd bring you here," he said warmly.
Theo sat down on one side of Miles while Jax took the other. "We just helped Lila sell stuff for the charity event," Theo explained. "We were looking everywhere for you."
"Oh, I'm sorry, Lila, for not helping you," Miles said, looking genuinely regretful. "I was busy checking my tournament schedule."
"No need to apologize," I replied softly, still feeling shy. "I actually asked them not to help me, but they insisted anyway."
Theo grinned and stood up again. "Do you want something to eat? I'll pick something good for you." Before I could answer, he was already heading toward the food counter, leaving me sitting there with Jax and Miles.
Miles went back to glancing at his phone, scrolling through something that seemed important. I turned my head toward Jax and found him staring straight at me. His dark eyes were intense, not looking away for even a second.
"What's wrong?" I asked, feeling self-conscious. "Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something on my face?"
Jax leaned forward a little, his deep voice low. "You know what? Seeing you makes me curious, Lila." He reached across the table and took my hand in his, holding it tightly. His grip was warm and strong. I swallowed hard, my pulse jumping under his fingers.
"What… what do you mean, Jax?" I whispered.
He didn't let go. Instead, he kept looking into my eyes. "You have beautiful eyes, rosy cheeks, and lips that… ahh, I think your lips are my favorite."
My face grew even hotter. The way he said it, so direct and sincere, made my whole body react. I could already feel myself getting wet. The dampness started spreading in my panties, especially because he was still holding my hand so firmly. My thighs clenched together under the table as I tried to stay calm.
I quickly turned my head toward Miles, hoping he would say something to break the tension. But he was still focused on his phone, seeming to ignore everything happening right in front of him.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Jax asked gently. He reached over with his free hand and carefully turned my face back toward him, his fingers light on my chin. The touch sent another spark straight through me.
"Jax… I…"
"What are you doing? Do you want to go somewhere else with me?" he asked, his voice dropping even lower.
My mouth opened, but no words came out. My mind filled with wild thoughts — his hands on my soft belly, his deep voice whispering more compliments, the three of them surrounding me. The fantasy made me wetter. I could feel the slick heat growing between my legs, making me shift uncomfortably in my seat.
Just then, Theo's cheerful voice cut through the moment. "Got it! Pasta, some salad, and drinks for everyone."
I quickly turned away from Jax, pulling my hand back. I clutched my thighs tightly together and clenched my fists in my lap, trying to hide how nervous and turned on I was. My heart was pounding so hard I was sure they could hear it.
Theo placed the trays on the table and sat down, completely unaware of the tension. "Hope you like it, Lila. Eat up."
I nodded, keeping my eyes on the food. The three of them started talking casually — about the charity event, classes, and upcoming games. Every now and then one of them would look at me and smile, or ask if I needed anything. Theo kept the mood light with jokes, Miles offered quiet encouragement, and Jax continued watching me with that intense stare that made my body react so strongly.
I ate slowly, trying to focus on the taste of the pasta instead of the warmth still lingering on my hand from Jax's touch. But it was impossible. My panties felt noticeably damp now, and every small movement reminded me how easily these guys could turn me on. I kept my head slightly lowered, hoping none of them would notice how flushed I was or how tightly I was pressing my legs together.
Lunch continued like that — the three of them including me in their conversation while my mind kept drifting to secret fantasies. I felt unworthy of sitting here with them, yet I couldn't deny how good it felt to be wanted, even for a little while.
As I took another bite, I wondered how much longer I could keep hiding how strongly my body responded to them. Because every compliment, every touch, every look from Jax, Theo, or Miles was making my dirty little secret harder and harder to control.
