Aadhya's POV
"Damnit… just admit it already!" bhaiyya shouted.
I froze.
I had never seen him this angry. Not like this. It actually scared me.
"Bhaiyya… there isn't one," I said, my voice trembling now. Tears were already forming in my eyes. "Don't you trust me?" I asked, frustration mixing with hurt.
He looked at me… and then raised an eyebrow.
Like he already had his answer.
So… he doesn't trust me.
"See? She isn't saying whose it is. Nikansh or Vivaan," Reyansh added from the side.
Why the hell does he care so much?!
"Why Vivaan too?" bhaiyya asked immediately, his tone turning sharper.
"They kissed. Who knows what happened after that," Reyansh said casually.
Done.
I'm done.
Thank you God for this wonderful life.
Before I could even react, bhaiyya grabbed my ear and twisted it hard.
"Aaahhh! Bhai!"
Pain shot through instantly.
"Bhai, it's NOT mine! Please believe me—I'm not pregnant!" I said, almost crying now.
He let go, but instead of calming down, he pulled out his phone and called someone.
What the hell is he doing?!
"Just admit it, Adi. Don't lie," Reyansh said, still serious.
"There isn't one, so why should I?!" I snapped back.
"If you don't trust me, let's go to the doctor and get it checked!" I added quickly.
"Fine, we'll do that," bhaiyya said, pacing. "But first, I need to find out who the father is."
Oh my God.
This man has completely lost it.
Just then, a car horn sounded outside.
The door opened.
Two figures walked in.
I turned—
And my soul left my body.
"Why are you here?" Reyansh snapped.
"I called them," bhaiyya said seriously. "I need to know who the father is."
WHAT THE—
"Bhaiyya! You called them here? I told you—it's NOT mine!" I yelled, completely frustrated now.
He ignored me and held up the kit in front of them.
Both of them just… raised an eyebrow.
No reaction.
"Whose the father?" bhaiyya asked directly.
I grabbed my hair in frustration.
"BHAIYYA BELIEVE ME, THAT'S NOT MINE!" I shouted.
And then—
"...Oh, did we already make it?" Vivaan said casually.
Silence.
Absolute silence.
My brain stopped working.
Reyansh and bhaiyya froze.
Nikansh just stared at him.
And Vivaan…
Smiled.
Like a complete psycho.
"Yeah… it was the best day of my life," he added.
I swear—
This man is going to die today.
"SHUT UP, YOU JERK! DON'T LIE! Bhaiyya, he's lying!" I snapped, furious.
"No? Don't tell me you're embarrassed of me now," Vivaan continued, teasing.
I clenched my fists.
I will break his teeth. One by one.
Bhaiyya was already burning with anger.
"JUST LET'S GO TO THE HOSPITAL ALREADY!" I shouted, losing whatever patience I had left.
Bhaiyya turned to them.
"You both are coming with us," he ordered.
They nodded.
And that idiot—
That absolute menace—
Vivaan—
Was still smiling.
Looking straight at me.
We reached Goyal Hospital.
Of course, those two came in their own cars. Rich people things.
And now here I am… sitting on a chair… while this absolute brainless creature sits right in front of me like he owns the place.
Bhaiyya is pacing back and forth like he has some serious indigestion. I swear if he walks any faster, the floor will give up.
"I'm going to talk to your father about the wedding," bhaiyya said suddenly.
I froze.
Wedding?!
"Yeah sure," Vivaan replied casually, smiling… and then looking at me.
He is insane.
Completely gone.
"Did you mean it?" Reyansh asked him seriously.
"Does it really matter?" Vivaan shrugged. "We got carried away. She was too good."
…
That's it.
I'm ending him.
Right here. Right now.
I stood up slightly, ready to attack, but before I could do anything, Reyansh lost it first. He stepped forward, about to punch him—
But bhaiyya caught him mid-way.
"Control yourself!"
Oh wow. Amazing. Everyone is losing their minds today.
And then—
The door opened.
A woman in a white coat stepped in.
"Miss Aadhya?" she called.
Finally.
Salvation.
"Yes," I muttered quickly and stood up, practically escaping from that chaos.
I didn't even look back.
If I stayed there one more second, either I'd kill Vivaan…
Or bhaiyya would actually get me married off.
And both options sound equally dangerous right now.
Nikansh's POV
It actually feels good sometimes… pranking your friends.
Not all the time—but moments like this? Worth it.
I knew Vivaan was messing with Reyansh and Amar. That much was obvious. But the pregnancy kit part? That confused even me. Where did Aadhya even get that from? And this idiot didn't even give me a hint—just went ahead and claimed he's the father like he's announcing some achievement.
I knew he was just messing with them. Pushing their limits. Watching them lose control. That's his thing. But still… this was a bit too far.
Aadhya went inside when Mrs. Goyal called her. The moment she left, the air outside felt… different. Tense, but also waiting for something to break.
After a few minutes, the doctor came back.
"Mr. Mahajan, I need to talk to you alone," she said.
Amar nodded and followed her aside.
I wasn't trying to listen—but I happened to hear it anyway.
"Miss Aadhya is not pregnant… and there are no signs of any sexual activity either," the doctor said calmly.
Amar let out a heavy breath. The kind you don't realize you're holding until it's gone. Then he just nodded.
That was it. Situation cleared. Simple.
But before anyone could even process it—
Vivaan burst out laughing.
"HAHAHA—should've recorded your reactions!"
He was enjoying this way too much. Slapping his leg, almost falling off the chair, completely unbothered.
I shook my head slightly.
This guy…
And then Aadhya walked out.
One look at her face—and I knew.
She was done.
"I'm going home," she said, flat and cold, and walked straight past us.
I followed her immediately.
"Aadhya, listen—Aadhya—"
She stopped. Turned.
Her eyes—
Not hurt. Not sad.
Angry.
"Did you see them? Bhaiyya and Reyansh? That's what happens when things get to them," she said, her voice tight with frustration.
"I'm really sorry… because of Vivaan," I tried to say.
"Don't," she cut me off immediately. "I don't need your apology."
Fair enough.
Before I could say anything else, Amar, Reyansh, and Vivaan came out.
And of course—
Vivaan was still grinning.
That same irritating, careless smile.
Wrong timing.
Very wrong timing.
I saw it happen before anyone could react.
Aadhya turned—
Walked straight up to him—
And—
Punch.
Clean. Direct.
Right to his eye.
"Damn…" I muttered under my breath.
Black eye—again.
Reyansh and Amar rushed forward to pull her back, trying to stop her before she landed another one.
Honestly?
Can't even say he didn't deserve it.
