Chapter 4 - 4. Let's CLEAN

Aadhya's POV

Last period.

"Bas yeh bhi nikal jaaye…" I sighed, resting my chin on my hand.

( Just this period passes by soon too)

And then—

She walked in.

Madam Garima.

I straightened instantly.

"Wow…"

No seriously.

WOW.

She was… beautiful.

Not just pretty—proper graceful, confident, main character energy type beautiful.

I blinked.

"I think aadha school inpe crush karta hoga…" I whispered.

( In guess half of the school must have a crush on her )

"…including me."

Her presence alone was enough.

The class? Silent.

Pin-drop silence.

Even the idiots? Quiet.

Miracle.

She slowly looked around the room.

Her expression changed.

Slightly.

Then—

"Did I just enter a class… or a dumping site?"

Ouch.

Direct hit.

Even I felt attacked.

She crossed her arms.

"Enough. All of you will clean this classroom today."

Pause.

"I have a meeting. When I return…"

She looked around again.

"I want the class spotless."

The way she said spotless?

Chills.

She walked out.

Door closed.

Silence for exactly—

One second.

And then—

EXPLOSION.

Cheers.

Shouting.

Whistling.

"Yeh kya hai?? India-Pakistan match jeet gaye kya??"

(What's this ? Has Indian won against Pakistan in cricket)

These people were hugging each other.

Some were literally jumping.

"Agla step sweets distribute karenge kya?" I stared, confused.

And then—

( Next are they going to distribute sweets.)

They picked up their bags.

Started leaving.

I blinked.

"Wait."

"WAIT."

"WHO IS GOING TO CLEAN??"

I quickly got up and went to them.

"Arre suno—cleaning karni hai na—"

( hey listen aren't we supposed to clean)

Ignored.

"Hello?? Madam ne bola—"

( Madam said that - )

Ignored.

"Bhai tum log sun rahe ho—"

(Bro are you listening)

Ignored.

"Wow."

"Main invisible hoon kya?"

(Am I invisible)

I stood there, frustrated.

And then—

He came.

Vivaan.

Walking towards me slowly.

Calm.

Too calm.

He stopped in front of me.

Bent slightly.

Close enough that I could hear his voice clearly.

"Clean the room."

His voice was low. Smooth.

For a split second—

I forgot to react.

"His voice is…"

"NO."

"Focus Aadhya."

"What the—?!" I snapped.

"Tum logon ne mess kiya hai aur clean main karun?"

( You people made a mess and I'm supposed to clean it ?)

I tried to sound reasonable.

Logical.

Civilized.

He didn't even react.

Just straightened.

Turned.

And started walking away.

Excuse me??

"If you want to go home… clean the room."

And then—

He stepped out.

Closed the door.

From outside.

CLICK.

I stared at the door.

"…"

"Seriously?"

"SERIOUSLY??"

After eating my lunch.

After stealing my Kurkure.

After mentally torturing me the whole day—

NOW THIS??

I took a deep breath.

Another one.

Another—

Nope.

Didn't work.

My anger?

Exploded.

I grabbed a bench.

Lifted it—

And THREW it to the back.

THUD.

Silence.

Then—

I started laughing.

"Hahahahaha…"

Not normal laugh.

Full mad person laugh.

"Main pagal ho gayi hoon."

( I have gone bananas really)

"Officially."

I ran a hand through my hair.

"If I stay here any longer… main kisi ko maar dungi."

(If I stay here longer i might murder someone)

I walked towards the door.

Banged it once.

Nothing.

From outside—

Laughter.

Their laughter.

Enjoying.

Like this was some kind of entertainment show.

"You jerks!" I shouted.

More laughter.

"Very funny! Bohot maza aa raha hai na?!"( You'll having fun right)

I leaned my forehead against the door for a second.

Closed my eyes.

Took a breath.

"Calm down…"

No response.

"Calm down…"

Still nothing.

I opened my eyes.

And looked at the mess around me.

Benches scattered.

Paper everywhere.

Chaos.

Then back at the door.

"Fine."

I cracked my knuckles slightly.

"Fine."

I clapped my hands once like I had just accepted my tragic fate.

"Main hi clean kar leti hoon."

( Ill just clean it )

I looked around.

Mess. Everywhere.

"Par jhaadu kahan hai??"

( But where's the broom )

I started walking around, searching.

"Yeh classroom hai ya excavation site?" I muttered.

( Is it a classroom or excavation site)

"Idhar khodo toh shayad treasure mil jaaye… ya phir dinosaur ki haddi."

( Should I dig, maybe I'll find hidden treasure of dinosaur fossil perhaps, who knows )

I took a few steps—

plop

Something cold fell on my head.

I froze.

Slowly looked up.

"…wah."

Leakage.

"Five-star building ke peeche ka asli sach," I nodded seriously.

I wiped my head and walked further back.

( Behind the Five star hotel like building this the hidden truth)

And immediately regretted it.

"Yeh kya jagah hai…"

(Whats this place now)

Boxes.

Left. Right. Everywhere.

I took one step—

THAK!

"Aahh!"

I bumped into a rack.

"My toes!!" I hopped a little. "Aaj sab kuch mere against hai."

(Today everything is against me)

I rubbed my foot and looked up at the rack.

And then—

"WHAT THE—"

Cups.

Bowls.

Glasses.

Pan.

Cooker.

Water dispenser.

I blinked.

"…yeh classroom hai ya hidden kitchen?"

I bent slightly—

"IDLI MAKER???"

I gasped.

"Do they all cook here, what the hell??"

"Wah. Full restaurant setup."

I shook my head, half impressed, half confused.

Then my eyes landed on something else.

Lockers.

Old. Paint peeled off. Names scratched on them.

"Hmm…" I stepped closer.

"Mahesh…Neel ..... Samar.."

I paused.

Then—

"Nikansh Mittal…"

And then—

I stopped.

"Vivaan Oberoi Windsor…"

I raised my eyebrows.

"Wah. Naam toh full royal hai."

(Full Royal vibes)

"Attitude matching the level of his name ."

I lifted my hand.

"Iski toh—"

( This guy-)

I was about to punch his name—

But something caught my eye.

Beside his name—

Another name.

Yuvika Nair.

And between them—

A heart.

I blinked.

"…Oho."

"Interesting."

I looked around.

"No girl in this class…"

Then back at the locker.

"Phir yeh?"

(Then this?)

Curiosity officially activated.

I leaned forward and tried to open it—

But before I could—

THUD.

The locker slammed shut.

I jumped.

"AHH!"

I turned—

Vivaan.

Standing there.

His eyes—

Red.

Not normal anger.

Something deeper.

Colder.

"Don't clean here."

His voice was low. Controlled.

"Clean somewhere else."

Every word… emphasized.

I stared at him.

Then slowly—

A small smirk appeared on my face.

"Hm."

"Interesting…"

"Why?" I tilted my head slightly.

"What are hiding in there?"

Big mistake.

I could feel it instantly.

The air changed.

His aura—

Darker.

He stepped closer.

Too close.

Bent slightly.

"Shut up."

Soft.

But dangerous.

I didn't move.

"And what if I don't?" I whispered back.

Challenge. Direct.

His jaw tightened.

I saw it.

His mouth twitched slightly—

Irritated.

Good.

"Then I'll make you shut up," he said, glaring.

I glared back.

"Try me."

Outside—

His friends.

Watching.

Enjoying.

Of course.

"And this…" Mahesh's voice came—

"looks like a married couple fighting."

Silence.

And then—

LAUGHTER.

Loud. Annoying.

I stepped back immediately.

"Eww."

Same time—

He stepped back too.

Same disgust.

"Marry him?? No way," I muttered.

He scoffed.

"I would never marry a girl like her."

His voice louder now. Sharper.

"She's not even close to my standards."

Something in his tone—

Dark.

Cold.

It hit.

But I didn't react.

Just stood there.

"…like I'm dying to marry you," I thought, rolling my eyes internally.

He turned.

Walked out.

Door closed again.

I exhaled slowly.

"Ugh."

"I hate this."

I looked around at the mess again.

"Chalo… kaam pe lag jao."

(Let's go ..back to work )

And this time—

I actually cleaned.

Properly.

Benches arranged.

Papers picked.

Floor wiped.

Sweat. Effort. Anger.

Sab mix ho gaya. ( All were mixed)

Finally—

Done.

I walked to the door and knocked.

No response.

Then I pushed it—

It opened.

"Oh."

Unlocked.

"Wow. Drama for nothing."

I grabbed my bag quickly.

"I need to go home."

And I ran.

Out of that building.

Out of that chaos.

"Seriously…" I muttered while walking fast.

"What a day."
