Chapter 6 - 6. Sharing is Caring

Vivaan's POV

Yuvika.

My Yuvika.

The name itself felt like something sacred… something that didn't belong to anyone else.

I stared at her picture on my phone, my thumb brushing lightly over the screen—almost like I could touch her.

"She looks… perfect," I whispered.

Not just beautiful.

Perfect.

Like she was never meant for this world.

And definitely not meant for him.

My jaw tightened.

That face.

That smile.

It used to be mine.

Only mine.

The grip on my phone tightened… harder… tighter… until the edges dug into my palm.

A crack sound almost escaped.

"Reyansh…"

His name felt bitter.

Poison.

"How dare you."

My voice dropped. Low. Dangerous.

"How dare you take her from me."

I stood up abruptly, pacing the room, running a hand through my already messy hair.

"You didn't just take her…"

"You changed her."

That's what burned.

Not just losing her.

But watching her turn into someone else.

Cold. Distant.

Looking at me like I was nothing.

Like I was… replaceable.

My chest rose sharply.

"She wouldn't do that," I muttered.

"She couldn't."

So it had to be him.

It was always him.

"He poisoned her mind…"

"Told her things…"

"Filled her head with lies about me… about us… about our section…"

My lips curled into a dark smile.

"You think you're smart, Reyansh?"

"You think you won?"

I let out a quiet, humorless chuckle.

"You don't even know who you're dealing with."

I looked back at her picture again.

For a second—

My expression softened.

Just a little.

"She'll come back," I whispered.

Like a promise.

Like a fact.

"Because she's mine."

The softness vanished just as quickly.

Replaced by something colder.

Sharper.

"I'll make sure of it."

My fingers clenched again.

"That smirk of yours…"

"I'll wipe it off."

I stepped closer to the window, eyes dark, focused—

"Just wait, Reyansh."

A slow smirk formed.

Cold. Certain.

"Because I'm Vivaan Oberoi Windsor."

"I don't lose."

Aadhya's POV

Finally reached school.

Aur aaj…(today)

Full banter mode ON.

Sab apni hi duniya mein busy.

(All busy in their own worlds)

Noise, chaos, bakwaas—perfect normal morning.

I walked in, casually glanced around—

And paused.

"…good."

"Today that idiot isn't here."

I looked again.

No sign of him.

"Nice."

"Kya hua hoga usse?" I wondered for a second. (What happened to him )

Then shrugged.

"Jo bhi ho… acha hai."

(Whatever it's good)

Peaceful day confirmed.

I went and sat on my bench.

First period—done.

Second period—done.

Still no sign of him.

"Matlab aaj nahi aayega."

(Means he won't come today)

I leaned back slightly.

"Finally… a good day."

Lunch break.

I walked straight to the cafeteria like a responsible food-loving citizen.

"Aaj extra lena hai…" ( i need buy extra)

I bought two lunch boxes.

"Ek mera… ek Avi ka."

I turned—

And before I could even blink—

SNATCH.

"Avi!"

He grabbed his box from my hands.

His face lit up like someone just gifted him the world.

"Thank youuuu! Since you kept your promise we are solid team"

He was literally bouncing.

Like a puppy.

Or a rabbit.

Or both.

And then—

He ran.

Just… ran away.

I stood there.

"…wow."

"What a guy."

" Solid team. Haha looks like I made a new friend or trouble perhaps"

Now the real question—

"Main khaungi kahan?"

( Where should I eat)

Definitely not class.

"Wahan toh khana gaya." (The food will be gone there)

I walked towards the stairs—

Blocked.

Huge boxes stacked like some warehouse.

"Great."

"Shortcut nahi, obstacle course mil gaya."

I sighed.

"Fine… yahin baith jaati hoon."

(Ill just sit here)

I sat on the steps carefully and opened my lunch.

Then my eyes caught something.

Near one of the boxes—

A paper.

Almost torn.

I picked it up.

"…letter?"

I turned it slightly.

Heart shape.

"Ohhooo…"

💌

"Love letter"

I smiled a little.

"Interesting…"

"Baad mein padhti hoon."

(Ill ready it later)

I slipped it into my bag.

"Pehle khana." (Food first )

I started eating, casually playing radio on my keypad phone.

Old songs.

Peaceful vibe.

For once—

Everything felt calm.

And then—

"HEY."

"—GHKK!"

I choked.

Literally spat everything out and started coughing like my life depended on it.

"Are you crazy?!" I snapped, still coughing.

Marwa deta tu!

"Maybe," he said casually.

…and sat beside me.

I stared at him.

Vivaan.

Of course.

"Great. Nazar lag gayi thi."

"What's your lunch?" he asked, already eyeing it.

I narrowed my eyes.

"No."

"The fuck," I warned.

"I'm being nice here," he said, matching my tone.

"Try harder."

Next second—

He snatched my spoon.

And started eating.

Fast.

Big bites.

Like he hadn't eaten in days.

I blinked.

"Oh."

He's actually hungry…

And for a moment—

I just… stared at him.

Dark brown eyes.

Dark circles—deep.

Like he doesn't sleep.

Face slightly pale.

Tired.

But still—

Strong features. Sharp jawline.

Broad shoulders.

Muscular.

Tall.

And that earring in his right ear.

"…this idiot is actually handsome," I thought.

"Like… model level."

"Actor type."

"Greek god vibes…"

I kept staring.

"Are you done staring?" He snapped.

I snapped back.

"—what?" And

I quickly looked away.

Snatched my box back and started eating.

"What were you staring at?" he asked, voice lower… slightly teasing.

"I was just looking at you," I said plainly.

"Hm."

That smirk again.

"Of course."

"Overconfidence ki dukaan," I muttered.

I passed the box back to him.

He looked… surprised.

Then took it.

Ate a few spoons.

And handed it back.

I took it without thinking.

Then paused.

"…this is disgusting."

"Same spoon??"

"Unhygienic."

"But…"

Bhook bhi toh hai. (But still hungry)

So I continued eating.

Balance.

"Why don't you just buy food from the cafeteria?" I asked casually.

"We're not allowed," he said simply.

I know.

And didn't ask further.

But maybe he thought I would—

Because next second—

He stood up.

And left.

Fast.

Very fast.

"Arre—"

Gone.

I stared at his disappearing figure.

"…speed dekh rahe ho?" (Can you look at the speed )

"Jaise free mein khana mil raha ho." (As if someone if distributing free food)

I shook my head.

"Idiot."

But still—

A small thought lingered.

"He looked… tired."

"…and hungry."

I looked down at my half-finished lunch.

Then at the stairs.

Then ahead.

"Strange…"
