After a journey that lasted several hours, Bary and Adam arrived at the capital of the Kingdom of Kail, "Flrheim City."
They walked through the city until they reached the grand academy square of this continent.
The Great Balance Academy.
The place was majestic.
A massive castle whose symbol was a huge scale.
Adam and Bary entered.
Adam was amazed by the place.
Bary's expression remained calm.
Then Adam said, "Let's go buy some food."
On their way, Adam bumped into a girl, causing her to fall to the ground.
He quickly apologized and extended his hand to help her up.
The girl took his hand, and Adam pulled her up.
Then he said, "I'm sorry, I wasn't looking in front of me."
She replied, "It's fine, I wasn't looking either."
Then she looked at Adam.
And she felt a strange feeling, as if her heart was telling her to become his companion.
Then she noticed that he was injured.
She said, "You're injured."
Adam replied, "It's fine, it's just a minor wound."
She said, "With time, it could become more dangerous if left untreated."
"I will heal it."
A light came out from her hand and she began healing him.
Then Adam looked at her and stared into her eyes.
Adam smiled, and in her eyes he saw a sincerity he had never seen before, and a feeling of reassurance began to slip into his heart.
Then he said, "I forgot to introduce myself."
"I am Adam… Adam Noul."
The girl replied, "Nice to meet you."
"My name is Asilene Hilliard."
"You can call me Asi."
Adam said, "And this is my companion Bary."
Bary said, "Nice to meet you, Asilene Hilliard. My name is Bartholomew Cain. You can call me Bary."
Asi looked at Bary and said, "Have we met before?"
Bary looked for a moment and said, "I don't know… but maybe."
Adam said, "Would you like to join us?"
"We need a skilled healer in our team."
Asi replied, "I would be happy to join you."
Adam smiled and said, "Then… we are a team."
"Adam, Bary, Asi."
Bary asked, "Why did you call it a team? There are only three of us."
Adam said, "It's fine, this is enough."
Then Adam said, "By the way, Asi, are you from this city?"
Asi replied, "No, I am not from this kingdom at all."
"I am from the Empire of Ren."
"I am here to learn magic and master it."
Adam replied, "Me too."
Bary said, "Then we all share the same goal."
They went to buy food.
At the food area, Adam searched himself to take out some coins.
He discovered that he had no money.
He laughed awkwardly and said to Bary,
"It seems I dropped my money during that battle."
Bary said, "No problem."
He searched himself, only to discover that he had also lost his money.
They looked at each other, then at Asi.
Asi laughed and said, "It's fine, I will pay."
"And I will also pay for the inn you will stay in tonight before you enter the guilds."
