Chapter 34 - Seeking Guidance in Sealing Techniques — A Woman’s Forbidden Topic: Age

"Sealing techniques… and Medical Talismans?"

Tsunade immediately grew interested.

She picked up a stack of drafts and began reading rapidly.

Once she started—

She didn't stop for hours.

The deeper she read, the more absorbed she became.

At times, she would even pause to calculate and deduce things herself.

It was obvious—

She had been completely drawn into the Medical Talisman concept Sora had created.

Of course…

She didn't forget to keep drinking the remaining wine.

Clearly, alcohol was something she could never neglect.

Uchiha Sora: "..."

You really are a full-time drunk.

After all four bottles of strong liquor were emptied—

"It works! This can absolutely work!"

Tsunade suddenly slammed the table and shot to her feet, her eyes slightly unfocused as she shouted at Sora.

Then—

"Thud!"

She collapsed straight onto the desk, completely passed out.

Even then, she continued mumbling:

"It works… it works…"

"Smack!"

Sora facepalmed.

"I knew it. I should never have brought her alcohol today."

This was high-proof liquor.

Drinking it like that—of course she'd pass out.

Still, he stepped forward, lifted Tsunade in his arms, and walked toward a side room.

It was a small bedroom—

Compact, but fully equipped, usually used for short breaks.

Holding her soft body, Sora felt a slight stir in his heart.

But the moment he remembered his own age—

He instantly calmed down.

He placed her gently on the bed, took off her shoes, and covered her with a blanket.

Then he poured a glass of water and placed it beside the bed.

Only after that did he leave the room and quietly close the door.

Back at the desk, he thought for a moment—

Then formed hand seals and created a shadow clone.

"You go back and tell them I won't be home tonight."

The clone rolled its eyes—

Then vanished.

Meanwhile, Sora sat down and continued deducing and refining the Medical Talisman.

The next morning…

"Mmm… my head hurts…"

Tsunade woke up, stretched lazily, and rubbed her temples.

Her foggy mind slowly began to recover.

Looking around, she confirmed where she was—

Then noticed the glass of water beside her.

A faint smile tugged at her lips.

"That kid… pretty considerate."

She picked up the glass—

"Glug, glug!"

—and drained it in one go.

Just as she was about to get up—

"Creak—"

The door opened.

Sora walked in carrying breakfast.

Seeing that she was already awake, he paused for a moment—

Then smiled.

"Teacher, you're finally up."

"Come—have some breakfast first."

Tsunade raised an eyebrow and looked him up and down.

"You didn't go home last night?"

"You stayed up all night reading?"

She had already noticed the faint dark circles under his eyes.

"Yeah. What else?"

Sora shrugged helplessly.

"These materials are important, and I couldn't take them home. So I just pulled an all-nighter."

"With my vitality and physique, it's no problem."

He handed her the breakfast.

Tsunade took it, set it aside, and stood up.

"Don't stay up too late. It's bad for your health."

"You might stop growing."

"I'll wash up first—wait here."

She quickly went to the washroom.

When she came out—

Sora was no longer there.

She grabbed the breakfast and walked into the office while eating.

There, she saw him sitting in her chair, writing something.

She leaned over to take a look—

Her eyes lit up slightly.

"Oh? So you weren't reading last night—you were working on this?"

"Let me see… mm, not bad… not bad…"

"Oh—so it can be done like this? How did I not think of that?"

Sora: "..."

"Teacher, can you finish your breakfast before talking?"

"Your spit and food crumbs are flying onto my face."

He wiped his cheek and shot her a sideways glance.

Bonk!

Tsunade smacked him on the head.

"Too many complaints!"

"Don't call me 'Teacher.' Call me 'Sister.'"

"Yeah, yeah… Tsunade-sis, fine?"

Sora muttered while rubbing his head.

"Seriously… you're about the same age as my mom."

BONK!

Another hit.

"Ow! That hurts!"

Sora's head buzzed.

Tsunade glared at him, cheeks slightly flushed with anger as she bit into her food.

"Serves you right!"

"Don't you know a woman's age is a forbidden topic?!"

"And besides—I'm this beautiful and youthful. What's wrong with you calling me 'Sister'? Are you losing out?"

With her Senju vitality and the effects of her techniques—

She could maintain her youthful appearance indefinitely.

Kids really are the worst.

Sora raised both hands in surrender.

"Alright, alright. Tsunade-sis, you're absolutely right. I was shallow."

"Now… can you teach me some basic sealing techniques?"

"You've seen it yourself—without foundational sealing knowledge, my Medical Talisman development has hit a bottleneck."

"You're the only one who can help me."

"If this succeeds, it could save countless Konoha shinobi."

Tsunade nodded.

"That's true."

Then she continued:

"I can teach you the basics—and even some intermediate sealing techniques."

"But honestly, my expertise in sealing isn't that high."

"There's someone in the village far better than me."

"I'll have her teach you instead."

Of course—

Another reason was that she was lazy.

And also…

She wanted someone else to experience the despair of being crushed by a monstrous genius.

Hehehe…

"Oh?"

Sora raised a brow.

A red-haired figure immediately appeared in his mind.

"You mean… Kushina Uzumaki?"

Tsunade looked surprised.

"You actually know her?"

Kushina was the Nine-Tails' jinchūriki.

Logically, Sora shouldn't know about her.

Sora shrugged.

"Not just know her—I've met her many times."

"You probably don't know this, but Mikoto and Kushina are close friends."

"I've heard about her from Mikoto. I know she's an Uzumaki survivor—and highly skilled in sealing techniques."

Of course—

Those meetings weren't inside the Uchiha clan.

They happened in the village.

Because if Kushina ever entered Uchiha territory—

The higher-ups would definitely panic.

And she knew that.

So she had never stepped foot inside the Uchiha district.
