Chapter 27 - The Family Is Running Out of Money — Uchiha Sora’s Money-Making Plan

After spending several hours at the Great Elder's residence—listening to stories about the Uchiha Clan's past and analyzing its current situation—Sora finally took his leave.

On the way back—

"Sora, don't feel too pressured," Uchiha Mikoto said softly, a hint of concern in her voice.

"You're still young, and you're already amazing. I believe in you. Grandfather was just overthinking things."

"Heh, don't worry."

Uchiha Sora chuckled lightly, reaching out to gently pinch her cheek.

"I don't feel pressured at all. I have confidence in myself."

At Home

Inside the living room—

Uchiha Mixin sat with an account book, her brows slightly furrowed.

"Honey… we're almost out of money. What should we do?"

Their family had always been well-off.

With Uchiha Senichi's status in the clan, their income and resources were far from low.

But—

They had been spending like crazy.

For the past two years alone, the cost of medicinal baths for the entire family had been enormous.

And in the last half-year, they had also built an underground laboratory for Sora.

All of that required money.

"…Troublesome."

Senichi pinched the bridge of his nose.

"I'll think of a way to earn more."

If necessary, he might leave the village and raid a few wealthy bandit camps.

That should sustain them for a while.

But reducing medicinal baths?

Absolutely not.

That directly affected their strength growth.

"If it really comes down to it, we can stop mine first," Senichi suggested.

"I've already reached the Kage-level. It's enough for now."

Mixin nodded with a sigh.

"My strength has also reached elite Jōnin level… I can pause mine as well."

Parents, after all, always chose sacrifice first.

At that moment—

"What do you mean, make money? We're out of money?"

Sora walked in with Mikoto, raising an eyebrow.

"And your medicinal baths absolutely cannot be reduced."

Senichi and Mixin immediately looked up.

"You're back!"

"No need to worry about this. We'll handle it."

Mikoto, however, looked slightly embarrassed.

"Mixin-sister, Uncle Senichi… this is my fault. I didn't realize the expenses were so high."

"I'll go ask my grandfather for money. And from now on, I'll cover my own medicinal bath costs."

"Hey, no!"

Mixin quickly stood up and pulled her back.

"This has nothing to do with you. Your share of materials is barely anything."

"The real expense is us—and Sora."

She shot Sora a glare.

Then gently held Mikoto's hand and sat her down.

"Besides, we're family now. Supporting your cultivation is only natural."

"If you go back and ask for money, what would your grandfather think of us?"

"Don't bring this up again—or I'll get angry."

Senichi also nodded firmly.

"That's right. Don't feel burdened."

Then he turned to Sora.

"You brat, most of the recent expenses are from your lab. Those experimental tools are insanely expensive."

"Should we slow it down?"

"Sure."

Sora nodded without hesitation.

"For now, the equipment we have is enough."

"Also—leave the money-making to me."

"I actually predicted we'd run out soon, so I already prepared a full plan."

"I'll go get it."

Moments later—

Sora returned with a thick document and handed it over.

"Take a look. Pick whatever is suitable to start with."

"Oh?"

Senichi and Mixin flipped it open, curiosity turning into shock.

"Pharmaceutical production?"

"High-proof alcohol brewing? You even wrote the brewing method? Interesting…"

"360-dish gourmet menu? Chain restaurant plan?"

"Improved explosive tag production process?"

"Fully automated explosive tag assembly line?!"

"Spatial scroll optimization?"

"Medical talisman concept…?!"

Senichi slowly closed the document, staring at his son.

"…The first few are reasonable."

"But the latter ones…"

"Are you serious?"

"I can believe you improving explosive tags, but a fully automated production line?"

"Is that even possible?"

"If it works, that's basically a money-printing machine!"

He continued, increasingly incredulous—

"Since when did you learn spatial scroll techniques? I don't recall the clan having that knowledge."

"And this 'medical talisman'…"

"If it really works, it would become a strategic resource."

"But… is that even achievable?"

Even Tsunade had never proposed such a concept.

Mixin also frowned slightly.

"The restaurant and pharmaceutical ideas are feasible."

"But they require startup capital."

"And for pharmaceuticals—what are you planning to sell? Soldier pills?"

Soraf smiled calmly.

"Dad, if I remember correctly…"

"Clan commercial matters are handled by the Second Elder, right?"
