Chapter 13: Strange Occurrence

It had been a few days since Lila's rescue. Ryu and kuro had defeated zerva. The umors spread about their great achievement which meant popularity, in order words means we wouldn't be able to trade in peace.
This town is far too troublesome now, so we went back home. with Lila and the rest to restock and think of our next move.

"We're are we?!" Lila and Mimi's eyes nearly popped out as well as the rest of them as they stood in my kingdom.
"It's just master's domain" kuro said stoic
"Master?!" The exclaimed in shock
"Got a problem with that" I glared
They shook their heads.
"Ok, kuro, take them to the clothing's department and put them in more presentable attire"
"Yes, shiori-sama! Come along " kuro led them.
"Ryu, after their dressed, take them to lox's forge to obtain new weaponry, And haru go meet dayama to prepare rooms for their stay" I stated stoic before walking to the mansion.

As everyone smiled and ate together, I went up to an unused room in the mansion.
"I'm back" I stated smiling as I was walking towards the metal cage in the room. In it, was a black, disfigured, blob like creature as it was squirming around in the cage.
To think that such a dark secret laid in a human town. I attempted to touch it, my skin crawled as a wave of dark lightening like magic emitted from it.

What is this? I grabbed a magic manual for dark magic as I flipped through each page eager to find the answer.
Nothing, like it doesn't exist in this world. I closed the book futstrated as I sigh.
"Judging by the presence of dark magic as well as the state and stench of decomposing flesh, my lastest guess would be that your possessed...." I thought
"Ok I guess I'll call you blobby for now"
I could asked the others but I don't any of them would know what you are, oh well I guess you would make a good guinea pig for my experiments.
"Since it's not really my body, I should be fine" I proceeded to infusing it with my mana.

I had been going at it for the last hour, my mana was greatly reduced. I decided to stop for the night.
Walking to my room, I sense a stare.
"What is it fang?..." He came out of the shadows in his human form.
"Master, I heard you're going to the human kingdom soon" he said
"Indeed, what about it?"
"The human kingdom has rumors of being hostile to monsters and your appreance would only gain unwanted attention" he said, slightly worried.
He has a point, in order to avoid being found out, my appearance would be quite an issue.
My fox ears twitch every so often.
"Thanks for the tip famg, I'll go meet Liam tomorrow, hopefully he has something that could aid this issue." I entered my room, closing the door.
{The next morning}
"A disguise accessory, huh..." Liam asked to clearify
"Something to hide my fox features." I explained
"I see well I think I've got an idea for that, come back in three days " he smiled
"Will do!" Next up the training grounds.
I had decided to learn the way of the sword, in case i Meet something or rather someone who can block mana flow, in order to achieve my goals I must conquer all.
Fortunately, I had asked the dwarves to make me a scythe. Long black staff will a purple, black curved blade.
I wouldn't want to imitate Ryu, plus a scythe seems more... Befitting for an op character.
I swung my weapon around, but something felt, off...
I know nothing about swordsmanship
I spotted Ryu training in a denser part of the forest. he had taken his shirt off, swinging his Kanata with precise precision, I silently watched in awe before approaching.
"Master!" He acknowledged my presence.
"Hello Ryu, training I see..." I smiled
"Yep, must be in top shape before we depart again for the Melvialine." He wiped some sweat away.
"Well I'm free at the moment, want to spar?" I asked
"Certainly, but have you ever held a sword, master?" He queried
"Nope" I admitted popping the P
"That's fine, I'll teach you every I know!" He beamed
What's he so excited?
"First thing to know is stance, for an attacker you must get into a stance that makes your body most resourceful" he explained
"Ok... Like this?..." I asked as I got into a position.
"Wrong!" He made an X with his hand before standing behind me.
"Have a firm grip on your weapon, one foot behind in case you want to sprint, and always balance " he stated, whispering in my ear as he adjusted the position of my body.
My face flushed by his actions.
"Much better " he nodded before pulling away. I shook off the blushes as he continues teaching me.
The next few hours were just Ryu explaining the ways of his style of swordmastery. As I got back to the mansion, i immediately went up to the special room to continue my experiments.

{Time skip: three days later}
I stood in the forge as Liam got on one knee and opened up a small black box, revealing the most beautiful ring I had ever seen.
"It's beautiful, and the design is so detailed..." I awe
"As you requested, a disguise accessory. I call it, the Fine eye lotus. Inspired by our new coming organization" he stated slipping the ring onto my finger.
I was admiring it, however, I felt no different. That's when I walked over to the closest mirror.
Once I saw my reflection, I was stunned. They were gone! My ears and tail weren't seen in my reflection anymore.
"It's a special ring that would prevent others from seeing your fox features but their still present" lox explained.
I took off the ring, my features poofed back into my reflection.
I smirked," This is good, thankyou Liam, lox..."
"It was nothing special my lady" they grinned, clearly happy by the praise.
"Ok time to hit the road!..." I grinned.

As night fell, Lila and her party were ready to go, still aweing at their new gear and clothes, but their attention drifted as I approached them, now wearing my fine eye lotus ring.
There jaws dropped speechless.
"Big sister, your so pretty!" Mimi smiled
"Hmph! I know" I smiled confidently
"I'm confused, I thought you were a beast human" Lila queried
"I'm actually a Demi human, a fox hybrid to be precised. But for now I'm trying to blend in with the crowd in melvialine " I explained.
"Where's Ryu?" Haru asked looking around for the wannabe samurai.
"I sent him on an errand" I replied
Flashback....
"Huh? You want me to go back to melvia?!" Ryu was speechless.
"I need you to investigate deeper, I how found something very interesting but none of those pigs could give any useful information." I explained
"I see...you believe the Crimson cross might still be lurking around."
" Anything you find report back to me..." I said, counting the money Haruna had brought back from selling the merchandise.
"Leave it to me!" He smirked proudly

"I see..." Haru nods
'What with Ryu gone and Haruna guarding Lila's team, that would mean... I and shiori-sama would be alone...' The formal black Spinner gulped at the thought. looking away with so no one could see his aroused blush. his eyes were practically emitting pink hearts and flowers.
But his fantasy came crashing down as they all sat in the same wagon.
"I was hoping to at least travel alone with her, though" he pouted staring at everyone who just ignored his gaze.
"I'm sorry that were getting in the way kuro-kun, I know big sister is your girlfriend" Mimi whispered apologetically.
The formal black Spinner's face flushed a deep crimson red at her words.
"I'm nothing more than just her companion.." he corrected as he silently acknowledged the little girl's words.
'he's so easy to read' Mimi thought as she smiled back.
I'd sensed the presence of monsters closing in around us.

"Very well.." he got up and existed the wagon befote standing before the bugs.
"Be gone, roaches" he used his webbing to hold them in place before tightening the hold as they were cut to pieces.
"Wow, impressive!" Lila awed
"Wow! Great job kuroha-kun!" Mimi commended
"This is nothing " he chuckled
He's so easy to read.
I turned to see the others getting off at going to the dead carcasses.
"Um where are you guys going?" I asked.
"Aren't we going to gather materials?" Lila queried
"What stuff can you get from a bug?" I asked curiously
Lila giggles, walking over to the bug before proceeding to brutally dissect and cut up the poor carcass to pieces like an organ harvester.
"So fresh" she smiled as the bugs blood stained her face.
My face paled, wasn't prepared to see that. I internally prayed for these tortured souls.
The journey basically went on like that, we rode together, if a monster shows up kuro deals with it or the others fight them together...
"We're so lucky to gain so much materials, for hoshiko trading company, are you planning on having a transport system?" Lila smiled
That's right the name of my trading company is hoshiko, like star, like to my eye design and high intelligence
I sat in the wagon reading up on dark magic in order to get some information on that blob.
However, my concentration was cut short as Mimi's screech caught my attention.
"Zikky bunnies!" Lila frowned.
"What's that?" I asked curiously.
"There an intermediate rank monster, despite they appreance, they possess some strength" Lila explained sternly staring at the monster
"Aww~ there so cute~" haru squealed, attempting to pet them but they slapped her instead, proceeding to punching her sides.
"I'm scared" haru whined
"Kuro deal with them" I ordered
"I'm sorry shiori-sama, but I can't, it's hard to understand what bunnies are thinking, I've seen how kind you are to the rabbits back at the kingdom, I don't see them as a threat, hence I have no interest in attack-" before he could finish, a zikky bunny kicked him square in the face.
He stumbled back a bit as a deadly aura emitted from him.
"How Would you like to die" he spoke in a dark tone
So quick to change gears. "Ok, I guess I'll leave you to it--" my eyes widened.
I was thinking of taken haru to guard the others but she was currently being groped by the bunnies?!
The rest zikky bunnies stared as their kin assaulted haru intensely. the next moment, they were thrusting their hips suggestively. I was speechless. so was everyone else.
"Hey stop that! You're supposed to be cute and cuddle.bI don't want to see rabbits doing that! " I frowned.
The bunnies turned to me with a glint in their eye. Suddenly They lunged at me, catching me off guard. They aimed for my neck first, then under my skirt.
"Hey! I want no part in this!" I tried shaking them off. One of them suddenly jumped in my shoulders, I got out my staff to fend them often but then I realized that it's was stupid.
Before I could think, my staff was pressed against my mouth like a gag, I tumbled onto the ground, the bunnies surrounded me as their eyes held nothing but lust, One started licking my nether regions.
"Ahh~" My moans were muffled as my mouth was currently blocked by my staff. The other two were pressing on my tits, my face flushed with embarrassment, drool escaped my closed lips as everyone else watched horrified.
"You.. little...demons" kuro's aura darkened as he approached us but halted with fear once he sensed mine.
I gripped my staff handle angrily before pushing myself free from their nonsense.

Everyone was coughing as the area was practically dust. The bunnies, cooked. I smiled satisfied.
"Are you alright master?!" Kuro asked rushing to my side,
"I'm fine, thankyou" I took his hand as he lifted me onto my feet, his hands were slightly larger than mine and clearly paler.
"Haruna, are you alright?"
"I'm fine, shiori-sama" she smiled dusting herself off.
"Let's continue on with our journey" I spoke trying to lighting up the once erotic mood.
Once in melvialine, I got my merchant guild card, none of the missions there interested me, what a shame.
"That's everything" Lila said handing me my share of the material.
"Thankyou" I smiled
"Well I guess this is goodbye"She gave a sad smile as the others did as well. We had come all this way together after all.
"Hold on, let's have a meal together to finish the day, my treat" I suggested. Mimi's eyes lit up as she turned to her sister seemingly waiting for her answer
"Very well, we shall meet up at the restaurant on 5th Street" she smiled
"Got it"
{Night time}
Still no feedback from Ryu. I , haru and kuro stood in front of the restaurant as Lila and Mimi were waiting for us.
"You made it!" Mimi beamed.
Once inside and sitted at a booth, our meals were severed. I stared at the mega beef on a bone hungrily, I picked it up and took a big bite.
"Heaven ~" I moaned happily, it's was the most delicious meat I had ever tasted, I was practically on the verge of tears.
"It's not worth crying over" Lila sweatdropped
"It's actually easily available here" Mimi deadpanned. Just then a guy wrapped his arm around my shoulder with flushed cheeks.
It was the alchemist of the group, Melvin. and boy was the guy drunk
My face flushed slightly at the sudden contact, while kuro kept stabbing his meal aggressively as he watched.
"If you ever need alchemist lessons just call me, ok" Melvin smiled
"We'll do" I smiled shrugging him off
"So shiori, what are your plans after this?" Lila asked
"I'm planning on opening a store here. Selling premium goods for accomodating prices..." A said simply as I drink my alcohol free wine that cost more that a reservation here.
The restaurant itself was very popular. And despite being expensive, a lot of adventurers and merchants come to celebrate.
Luckily with all the sales we've made in the past few weeks, I'm not too worried about the bill.
"I see, good for you" she smiled genuinely.

After dinner, we said our final goodbye before the three of us walked to our inn. Once inside, I noticed a small crowd forming.
"What's going on?" Haru asked.
"It's a tournament for power" I turned to the one who had spoken. It was gypsy.
"Please, tell me more" I pressed on, taking a chair before sitting in front of her.
"Hold on there must, information ain't cheap..." She grinned wolfishly.
I tossed her a few healing potions as a trade, her eyes sparkled immediately knowing these kind of things fetch a high price.
"Very well. The previous ruler of this kingdom, made a vow in his will, that the next ruler must win the tournament. That guy over they Is the Kings grandson, however he was adopted. Since he isn't of royal blood, he can't inherit the throne, the king decided to provide a tournament to obtain his throne, right now his trying to win it" she explained
"I see..." I brought out my phone to note down the information.
"Kuro, please book us a room" I order
As He left to do so, I watch the game unfold. They were playing poker, I'm surprised this world even had such a game.
"I'm back" kuro spoke, my eyes narrowed. The other player was cheating, but how?.
I looked around for clues as someone caught my attention. Glowing eyes of a figure who stood at a corner in a cloak. I smirked before snapping a photo of the the game.
"Let's go" I gestured as we made our way to the stairs, bit before so I whispered into the adopted prince's ear.
"His cheating" the guy look at my speechless as we disappeared, heading to our room.
In it were two beds, one double size and the other a twin bed. I set Haruna down on the twin bed.
"I'll go clean my teeth, be right back"
"Ok, I'll go Change into my nightwear as I wait for your return" kuro smiled.
No one's pov
It's finally happened, I and master sharing the same bed, oh my~. Kuro was drunk on utter bliss at the thought of being intimate with his master.
He quickly changed clothes, sitting patiently like a good servant. The door opened and shiori entered the room.
"The stock is under fang's watch so no one can try to steal, also I haven't heard from Ryu In days" she said taking off her clothes before changing in her pajamas.
Kuro took deep breaths to calm his thumping heart, he's face flushed as his eyes never left her figure.
"Alright, good night " she got into bed and drifted off to sleep.
"We're not doing anything?!" Kuro sulked at his master's dense nature.
A few hours later, there was a knock at the door. The girl groggily got out of bed and opened the door but her eyes widened when she saw who it was....
