Chapter 9: New Residents
"Onee-san, please save me..."
I abruptly sat awake as I looked around confused a bit. , I was in my tent, all healed. Not a scratch on me.
But how and what about the battle how did it turn out...
I had so many question.
"Oh, I see you've awoken, shiori-sama.." I turned to see a pale male with wavy jet black hair and Ruby red eyes staring back at me.
Who The heck is this guy?!
"Hello dear master. as your new servant, I shall serve for the rest of my lifespan. To the best of my ability, I shall offer both my body and soul at your disposal" he said with a cute smile
Although this guy looks cute and harmless, he had this intensely obsessed aura, he was even super hot and sexy which only seems to frightening me even more!
"I'm sure you're curious about your situation, yes?" He smiled. I nodded slightly.
"Then allow me to explain..."
Flashback...
The unconscious white haired girl laid on the ground. Her three main servants sat around her as they performed a magic healing circle.
The area was glowing as their mana slowly but surely was repairing her injured stated.
"Lady shiori, I won't let anything happen to you" Haruna declared as she puts more of her mana in the spell
"I won't leave a scratch on you, shiori-sama!" Ryuchi declared as he too did his best.
Flashback ends.....
"I see, but who are you?." I nodded, understanding everything.
"You might have not recognized me because of my new contract form but we've met once before. I am the black Spinner you defeated " he smiled.
My face paled. "I thought contracts needed consent from both parties?" I trembled in disbelief.
"Well lord Ryuchi, offered to give consent in your stead "
"Did he now..." My brow twitched
"Fear not, for I shall stay forever by your side, shiori-sama..." He smiled, sending a wink.
Hes so hot! Hold it together shiori, don't but tempted by this snake! Or rather...bug?
"Oh your awake? " Ryu's voice filled the room as he, Haruna and someone familiar entered the room.
"Yes, and I'm also just got informed that I had performed a contract, without my awareness." I gave a sarcastic smile
"It's way better than having a giant insect following you around, isn't it? I was just thinking ahead" Ryu retaliated, feeling no guilt.
"I'm so lucky to have such a loyal servant" I deadpanned
"Aw, It was nothing " he smiled flattered
I was being sarcastic you moron!
"So about your name, got any preferences?" I asked the new comer.
"Any name would do, as long as it's a good one" he replied.
"Ok let's see, I named the first two from something of their appreance..".
The first one was a dragon, so I named him Ryuchi, Ryu for short.
The second one was a bunny dog or as they call it a Robonix, so I named her Haruna, haru for short.
What do I name this guy, well his a spider but I doubt he'll like spider-chan. Kuromi? Kastsuko? Oh I've got it!
"Your name as of now is, kuroha! Less formal, kuro!" I spoke proudly as he begun to glow.
He was originally a black monster, so I named him something attached to that.
"Thank you for such a lovely name, seeing as you put so much effort to attach it to my hair color I'm very pleased!." He giggled to himself, entranced.
"Um....are you...uh?" I have a really bad feeling about this guy.
"Excuse me..." A voice, called me out of my thought, I turned to face the person.The dwarf looked to be in his early forties.
"Greetings, great mage. I am lox the chief of the dwarves, and supervisor of the advend cally market town" he introduced himself
"My name is shiori koromi " I replied.
"Firstly let me say thank you for saving our town although it was destroyed in the end, all our people were alright. Most of the humans fled the most an s- ranked monstered appeared, those cowards. I would have never been aware our salvation was all thanks to you if young flint didn't tell me" he bowed respectfully.
Flint? So Liam told him huh.
"Great mage, I have a request, please allow us to live in your domain, our village is destroyed and we have no where to go-"
"Ok." I replied instantly
"That was quick!" He was surprised by her sudden reply
"There tons of land to spear and as long as you follow the rules here I don't mind. To be honest I was actually hoping to employ some dwarves for our new coming kingdom" I stated.
"However!, you must paid taxes on your land, give armaments and recognize shiori-sama as your queen if not master!" Ryu spoke with authority, as if he was a lord deeming if lox was a servant was worthy to serve me.
"I have no objections, I'll bring my people here in a span of two days..." Lox bowed on One knee.
"Ok,..." He left as Ryu lead him out.
Things are finally taking shape, with the addition of the dwarves, our kingdom's progress would only grown. And with the weaponry they will make, I'll finally have a better chance I need to find and save sanemi.
all that's left is it financial issue but I think I've already got the solution to that. I smiled looking outside.
No One's Pov
In another market town, three figures dressed in school uniform walked about.
"Man, another dungeon raid exercise already, we just barely survived the last one~...." The girl whined exasperately.
"I know! I'm already super tired from the last one." the blonde hair male one spoke.
The third one was silent as he just kept walking, unbothered by the sudden changes.
"So we're going to the same forest as last time, right?" The blonde asked putting his arms at the back of his head.
"Yeah, I just hope that monster isn't still lurking" the girl frowned cautiously
"Don't worry Mia that's just a myth." The blonde smiled assuredly.

Shiori's pov
I sweatdropped at the scene in front of me. I was standing on a podium as I stared at the goblins and koromi wolves but aside them, varies of new species I barely recognized.
What's going on here?.
"EVERYONE, MY NAME IS RYUCHI, LESS FORMAL RYU!" Ryu announced proudly
"MY NAME IS KUROHA! LESS FORMAL KURO!" Kuro announced
"AND MINE IS HARUNA! LESS FORMAL HARU!" she announced shyly
"I AM DAYAMA! THE GOBLIN LORD!" He announced flexing his bulk muscles
"AND I AM FANG! THE WOLVES CHIEF!" He spoke in his human form.
What is happening.?!
"AND THIS BEAUTIFUL LADY BEFORE YOU IS OUR QUEEN AS WELL AS YOUR MASTER AND THE MASTER OF THIS VERY LAND!" Ryu said
"HER TITLE SHALL BE...." Kuro smiled as the five of them spoke in unison.
SHIORI-SAMA! OR SHIORI-DONO!
Everyone cheered excitedly, chanting my title like it was a good luck mantra.
Why does this feel so cool. Oh well if I'm going to be master, shouldn't I play thepart.
"AS YOUR MASTER AND QUEEN, I SHALL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO ENSURE YOUR SAFETY AND WELL BEING! SO, GRANT ME EVERY YOU CAN TO ASSIST ME!" I smiled smugly as they all erupted with applauses.
"Onwards to the next topic of discussion, residents here as settling here perfectly, these are the dwarves representatives" dayama said as three persons approached me.
"Nice to see you again, lox" I smiled
"Likewise shiori-sama, my people have being in state of relief since arriving here, thank you."
"No need to thank me, your services are needed here."
"But I'm curious, it's not everyday a mortal controls and evolved monsters to such a degree, are you a hero for the goddess per chance?" He asked
Hero? For that bi**h! Hell no! If anything she wants me dead!
"Sorry to disappoint you but I'm not under the approval of that b**ch- I mean goddess.." I said with disdain
"So your not working for the goddess?"
"Not at all" I pouted as I crossed my arms
"I see, well in that case I'm glad, our principles differ from hers. It would be a pleasure to serve you then " lox smiled before walking away to rejoin his people.
"My turn!, I found these guys a while ago, apprantly they worship me like some god. There village suffered as well since it was close to the market town...!" Ryu spoke excitedly gesturing to the large group of standing fish looking people
"Why didn't you tell me you had followers, you imbecile..."
"Well I'm telling you now, they have attributes for water and wind magic. they are fast and more agile, not to mention there scales are sturdy and tough!" He explained as I sent him a 'you'll get your punishment later' glare. He tensed up. "My turn next. shiori-sama, meet my followers the spider clan. Similar to Ryuchi's story, however my family were their leaders, before I was possesed. Just like me they were once driven by hungry and urges for destruction, but now their free and have evolved into the human hybrids you see before you" kuro smiled proudly.
"Very well, what about you, Haruna. Do you have followers?"
"No, shiori-sama " she replied
I let out a sigh. Goblins,. Komori wolves, Dwarves, Fishman, Spider clan.
"A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU ALL!" i announced as Sounds of screams and applauses followed.
"Ok Ryu, please explain the rules to the new residents and make sure the dwarves are comfortable, kuro, Haru, monitor and make sure Ryu actually does his job. Ok bye now!" I began walking away.
"Where are you doing, shiori-sama?" Kuro asked
"To do something useful " I replied dismissively as I walked away.
Once in my tent, I walked over to a corner.
I hope they build a house and make some clothes for me soon, this primitive base is too old school for my taste. Plus my hoodie is ragged thanks to the previous battle.
I opened up a wooden crate, revealing seven thick covered books, each one a unique color. This was what Ryu had gotten for me while we were at the dwarf town, before it was destroyed that is.
"Damn. I can't understand anything written in here" i frowned. Maybe I have a skill for that. I opened my stats to see.

I tapped yes, there was a slight ripple in the Air. I turned to the book, my eyes widened. Everything was translated.
"So cool! Now I can read these!..." I squealed as I jumped for joy.
Grabbing the first book I Jumped into my makeshift bed as I began reading. Kicking my feet in the air like a little kid.
Magic manual
This realm is divided into six segments
1) Commons- humans
2) draco- demons type monsters, such as vampires, succubus, incubus, hellhounds e.t.c
3) crystallia- mystical type monsters, such as elves, fairies, sirens, spirits e.t.c
4) demi humans - such as werewolves, demi beasts, hybrids e.t.c
5) demi monsters - lower class monsters with slight human intelligence. Such as, goblins, dire wolves, lizardman, slimes e.t.c
6) dragons
Magic is the corner stone of the worlds society, it is accessed through ones life force, commonly known as mana. only species with exceptional intelligence can use magic.
So I guess dayama and yamada would be able to since they've evolved. Also Ryu, haru and kuro would be able to as well. I believe they used some to heal me in fact.
Magic can be summoned in two ways, incarnations and magic circle.
Incarnations are mostly used since it's a more convenient use of mana but magic circles are good for teleportation, or advance healing.
Everyone has a limit to their mana usage as it is set from birth, some more that others.
Magic affinity:-
This is the ability to use certain magic attributes. Magic affinity is divided into six; water, fire, earth, wind , darkness and light (lightning). Most are able to use only up to two or three elements only a certain few has the potential to use more than three elements, these are called hero candidates.
"Ok let's try something simple...". I held up the book as I walked over to the window space.
"Let's start with some intermediate spells..".
"Supple rivers, princess of all steams that runs through the earth. sweep away all with your hidden might,..."
Splash flow!
I stared at my palm in awe as wind flowed around me and entangled with the ball of water that was forming in my palm.
BOOOOOMMMMM!
The ball of water smashed through the tent before flying through the air with impressive speed as raindrops followed.
"Shiori-sama!" Ryu barged in with Haru, kuro, fang, dayama and yamada.
"Oh hey guys" I said, slowly getting off the floor.
"Are you ok!" Kuro asked worriedly checking my face for bruises.
"I'm fine, really" I assured, gently moving his hands from my face.
"Magic manual?" Ryu said looking at the book on the floor.
"I was practicing magic, that's all so don't worry"
"Wow, your so talented shiori-sama!" Dayama spoke out, pleased
"Thankyou, Dayama. now please get this place cleaned up and send someone to set up a new tent for me." I ordered.
"Yes, shiori-sama!" He nodded as he ran out of the room.
"Don't worry shiori-sama, your temporary residence is almost finished " Madara spoke.
"Oh really!" I am really excited about my house upgrade.
