Making a deal with the British East India company
The ride to the East India company Bombay headquarters from the port was not as smooth as Hancock was used to. She had Niger with her in the carriage along with many other guards. She had not brought Salome on this trip. Her pet was getting old and bringing her on a voyage was not an option.
Currently there were many other options in the world to choose from if she only wanted resources. Especially many African countries. Wakanda might be unreachable but there were many other countries which were under colonial rule of European countries. Getting into one of them would not be very easy. But during the time of World War 1… who knows. But Hancock would rather not choose extreme violence when manipulation could do the job.
Knowledge was not the only reason why she had chosen India. She did not know a lot about modern Indian history. But she was well aware of a few things. After the Britishers left they had made a very bad mess of the entire country. Especially by dividing it in two parts. Which was further divided into 3, in the future. Currently the country was not under the direct control of the British crown. The governor general of India of the East India company was handling everything. On paper, he had all the powers.
But from what Hancock had gathered, the status quo was not going to be maintained for a long time. Soon the British crown will directly take over the country. What Hancock wanted was simple. She wanted to cause chaos by controlling the political struggle between Lord Dalhousie and the British crown. The fuel for conflict was already there. She just needs to light up the match. She wanted to speed up the process of India's freedom. Obviously he will have to gather some exceptional people who could keep the country united after its freedom. The Governor-General of the British East India Company, Lord Dalhousie was a proud British man. But in front of the beauty of Hancock, his pride was nothing.
On the surface, the man was loyal to the British crown. But it didn't take Hancock to find out his real desires. The man loved his powers too much. But controlling a massive nation like India was not an easy task. Especially not when everyone was divided. While it made manipulating them easy, it made direct control equally hard. It was the main reason why Dalhousie was willing to hand over the control of India to the British crown.
Hancock made a simple preposition. To create new factories in India to manufacture chemical medicines and medical supplies, with the partnership of the East India company. The technology will remain under the control of Amazon Lily. But the company will profit from the control over the distribution network.
It was a very tempting offer. Mainly because it would immediately open new scope to have more international influence. After the initial talks about investment, Hancock slowly started putting 'ideas' into the head of Dalhousie. By the time the meeting ended, the man was already thinking about how to maintain his control over India instead of just handing it over to the British crown.
On paper Hancock only stayed in India for 7 days before leaving. Obviously that was not the entire truth. She had left many of her agents and spies in India before leaving.

The technique the Britishers were using before to conquer India was used against them to divide them into two parts. The first part had Dalhousie and his loyalists from the East India company. They were money hungry proud people who wanted a piece of a very tasty pie. Obviously the second part belonged to the British crown.
At first the conflict was merely political. The status quo was maintained until 1870. Dalhousie managed everything under control in the name of building the medicine factory for the British crown and the United Kingdom.
During that time the agents from Amazon Lilly slowly but surely started influencing the top powerful figures of India.
Dadabhai Naoroji, Mahadev Govind Ranade, Navrozji Fardunji, Behramji Malabari, Jyotiba Phule, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, Surendranath Banerjea, Womesh Chandra Banerjee, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bipin Chandra Pal, Lala Lajpat Rai, Birsa Munda and many local kings and monarchs who had lost their powers came together and rose up against the British government as well as the East India company in 1875. During that time, Amazon Lilly secretly backed the rebel faction, providing them modern weapons from the United States and Germany.
Due to the decisive strike and division in the core British ruling system over India, the Britishers soon found themselves pushed into a corner both in politics and in armed conflict.
In the end the East India company left India in 1879. That's how in 1879, August 15th, India declared itself a free country.
Immediately after this declaration, many problems arose in India. Exactly like Hancock had predicted, the division among the smaller kingdoms or state along with the division among the people caused a period of chaos to rise. Exactly at this moment, Amazon Lily officially decided to enter the play. On paper, Amazon Lily had every right to interfere. Especially considering the medicine factories they had established in India. Due to the higher production of pharma products, the rate has gone cheaper in the international market. In 1882, January 15th, the United States of India was born.
During this period, Amazon Lily signed a deal with India which would later be called the famous "deal of prosperity and peace".
With this deal, India agreed to sell its natural resources to Amazon Lily at a reasonable price. The natural resources will include spices, rare medicinal plants, Gold, Silver, Iron, Coal and many other minerals. A cultural exchange will also happen, in which the scientist and the scholars of Amazon Lily will be given the right to research on various ancient structures and knowledge of India.
In exchange, Amazon Lily will help India set up many production lines for different types of resources like Steel. India will have the right to use these products for its own use, but when it comes to exporting them, Amazon Lily will have the right to choose whom India is going to sell its products to.
Only in the case of Pharma production, Amazon Lilly will have full control.
Finally all of these efforts Hancock found the secrets of rejuvenation and controlled mutation in 1904, making all the investments she had made throughout the years, completely worth it.
