They were like sailors from the old world, unable to board the ship of a new age.
And as civilization advanced, more and more sorcerers gradually began awakening all kinds of bizarre techniques designed to adapt to modern society.

That was a form of modern jujutsu born within the Zen'in clan over the past century through the influence of film.
